This and That with Alex and Mando

Join us this week as we take the final step in the journey that is This and That with Alex and Mando, as Mando will be stepping away from podcasting. We start the episode talking about how much of a whirlwind the playoffs in both the NHL and NBA have been. You then get a special preview of Alex's new podcast, Alex's Disorganized Thoughts.  We then travel to Egypt as we talk about Moon Knight and everything that happened in the short but action-packed series.  Finally, we take a trip down memory lane as we remember all the good times we had throughout this podcast as we say goodbye to you the audience of This and That with Alex and Mando.

We open this week's podcast with a very important announcement before jumping into all the fun stuff and let me tell you there was a lot of it. We start it off with some ideas of what the Heat can do going forward following their heartbreaking loss in Game 7. We give our opinions on the ongoing Conference Finals in the NHL before we check in with our boys at The Miami FC as they get ready for another 3 game week. Finally, we look at some exciting stories making it around the world this week that will make you laugh.

Join us as we try and make sense of the Panthers being swept out of the playoffs while also trying to figure out what's going to happen with the Heat. We look back at the high-flying victory over the weekend by The Miami FC that led to 3 players being named to the Team of The Week before we head over to Paris to preview the upcoming UEFA Champions League Final between Liverpool and Real Madrid. Our journey this week then takes us to New Asgard as we proceed to lose our minds over the new Thor trailer. Finally, we wrap up this week with some words on the massacre in Texas.

Join us this week as we continue to talk about the NHL and NBA playoffs. In that conversation we try and understand the shall we say interesting scheduling given out by NHL. We follow that up by sharing some strong opinions about a certain basketball player who has been in the media lately. In this week's segment of “You, Me, and Golazo” we recap the team's success and bring you an interview with The Miami FC's forward, Kyle Murphy. Finally, we bring back our biggest supporters, Nati and Morgan, as they join us in this week's segment of “That's Ridiculous But So Is This” and we talk about what the podcast has meant to us.

In this week's episode, we look back at one of the crazier weeks in recent memory. We discuss Brian Flores as well as wonder if we should listen to Jeff Garcia and stop talking sports. Spoiler alert: we don't stop talking sports in fact we talk about the retirement of Tom Brady and share our excitement revolving around the Florida Panthers season thus far. We get a little ballsy this week in That's Ridiculous but so is This and dance up and down the streets in celebration of the return of the Mexican Pizza.

We look fondly upon the train wreck that was the Funky 5 last week as well as recapping everything that went on during Hawkeye while looking ahead to all the Marvel 2022 has to offer. We talk some hoops this week as we look at what our Miami Heat have accomplished so far while also discussing some recent comments made by Heat Legend Dwayne Wade. After a positive start to the Funky 5 Playoff Edition, we try to keep up the pace with this weekend's slate of games. As always your favorite segment returns; where the most interesting thing happened this week. And finally, we take a moment to praise at the altar of Lin-Manuel Miranda. Not to mention everybody's favorite segment makes a return where we hope that no thievery has been committed this week. 

Join this week as La Esposa makes her triumphant return. She joins in to talk about her "favorite" fantasy football receiver Antonio Brown and the newest circus that surrounds him. We also talk about Aaron Rodgers and if the criticism leveled against him this week about being a bad person should have any bearing on the MVP Award. With the last week of the season upon us, we make our final picks for the season in an attempt to finish over.500 and beat Colin Cowherd as well. We attempt to have ridiculous stories before an act of thievery is committed and we look back at the recent Marvel Tournament and figure out what would have been a much more interesting final. Alex gets a moment to rejoice over his adopted team the Cincinnati Bearcats making the CFP while also looking forward to the upcoming Naranjo Bowl pitting UCF versus Florida in the Gasparilla Bowl. We set up the final week of the fantasy season before Mando tries to hold off Alex as he seeks revenge for last week's shocking loss in That's Ridiculous but so is This. 

We open this week with our reactions to what's happening across all sports.  We recap last week's picks and make our Funky Five Selections.  As the push to the fantasy playoffs continue, we talk about all the tight division races and try to find a way to handicap the race. Finally, we talk about some of our ideal gifts and just general gift ideas for the upcoming holiday season...and who knows maybe you will see a Christmas miracle on the pod.

We're back this week with a new episode for the Thanksgiving weekend. We make our weekly Funky 5 selections and look at the week that was in fantasy while setting up the sprint to the finish as one division has a 4-way tie for first place with 3 games remaining. Finally, we discuss the real hard-hitting topics...When is it ok to put up Christmas decorations?

After an unexpected week off we return this week with a vengeance. We start by looking at the state of football in Miami both professional and collegiate. There's a new CFP Ranking out this week and as per Alex....Cincinnati is getting hosed. We look back at the last two weeks in fantasy football as we prepare for the last 4 games of the season. Finally, after Mando tries his hand yet again at everyone's favorite segment, we talk Thanksgiving and what are some of our must-have items and which items if it were up to you would never see the table again. 

Join us this week as we look back at some of the big stories of the weekend in both the NFL, as well as in Fantasy. We make our Funky Five selections and provide our instant reactions on the first College Playoff Rankings of the season. The NBA dropped all 30 City Jerseys this week so, we put on our best fashion critic hats to pick out some of the best and worst jerseys. Alex then proceeds to eviscerate the sad excuse that is MLS Referees. Finally, as always That's Ridiculous but so is This where Mando makes an unexpected detour.

Mando then tries yet again to beat Alex only for Alex to show up with a ghost story two days before Halloween. Finally, we talk about what concerts we would have liked to time travel to and which concerts that we have been to were our favorites.
