The Secret Teachings

The June 27 US Presidential debate theoretically played any role in undecided voters determining who to vote for. But, realistically, nearly everyone already had their mind made up beforehand. Moments after the debate ended, however, and even during, the mainstream media, social media, and masses of Democrats suddenly began official panic over Joe's performance, including his geriatric and senile behavior. Headlines said they were melting down, saying WTF, and maybe even voting for Donald now. Other media began reporting this revelation as if it were new, and not happening for the last four years. Democrats seemed to quickly use the debate as an excuse to finally admit Biden might be out, and someone else has to replace him. At the very least, if he can't be replaced, Democrats are essentially saying, ‘he's not our problem anymore' - even Snopes and Drudge are defending Trump now. This reaction is nearly identical to the CDC, former governors, and members of the pandemic task force suddenly admitting that distancing, face coverings, lockdowns, needles, etc., didn't actually work and that they had no authority to force any of them on you. Although many see this as a victory, some are a bit more skeptical of the narrative being blatantly spun in our faces. Something is up, and it's not just Donald's poll numbers. Perhaps, as I have said on the show for months, the media, establishment, and State, want Trump in office for some odd reason. That's if you believe Joe' presidency is even ‘real', considering the recent interview with Jonna Mendez, former CIA Chief of Disguise, and the fake White House set that was built in 2021. -FREE ARCHIVE & RSS: https://www.spreaker.com/show/the-secret-teachingsTwitter: https://twitter.com/TST___RadioFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/thesecretteachingsWEBSITE (BOOKS, RESUBSCRIBE for early show access): http://thesecretteachings.infoPaypal: rdgable@yahoo.comCashApp: $rdgableBuy Me a Coffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/tstradioSUBSCRIBE TO NETWORK: http://aftermath.mediaEMAIL: rdgable@yahoo.com / TSTRadio@protonmail.com

Debt Ceiling "Crisis"- Manufactured Malarky to Enrich the Ruling Class and Starve the Poor

In this episode, we explore the manufactured debt-ceiling crisis of June 2023. Sold to the US public as a financial emergency that required immediate action in order to avoid impending doom and "the scourge of default," we look at what the debt-ceiling negotiations actually resulted in: a giant cash giveaway to big business, the war industry, fossil fuel companies and the ruling class. While feigning the need to cut federal spending across the board, military spending and funding for fossil fuel projects actually increased, while the US government slashed the budgets of the minuscule federal food stamp program and ended student debt relief. In addition, the bipartisan debt-ceiling deal included the legislative fast-tracking some of the most protested and lethal pipelines to people and the planet. As the corporate duopoly marches in lockstep in their war on the working class, the poor, and the planet, there was almost no corporate media analysis of this phony crisis and the giant financial gift to the one-percent that resulted from these debt-ceiling negotiations, which is why we provide you with a deeper analysis here. If you appreciate our in-depth reporting and analysis, please support our work and become a patron today at patreon.com/crawdadsandtaters. Tricking Power into Performing Acts of Love with Dr. Shepherd Siegel Trickster, the oldest archetype known to humanity, a semi-divine character who appears in every culture, enters the world in a premoral state. The Trickster just wants to have fun. Through episodes of tricking others and themselves, Tricksters stumble into moral discovery. Tricking Power into Performing Acts of Love is filled with examples of the magic that comes with this malarkey, how it upends social orders and lifts the veil on a utopic world, The Play Society. Dr. Shepherd Siegel, a descendant of oil barons and bootleggers, grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in the midst of that whole utopian sixties thing. He was a rock and jazz musician, then educator. His first teaching assignment was with youth in lockup in a juvenile detention center, the only un-mellow job in bucolic Santa Cruz, California. He earned his doctorate at UC Berkeley, with studies in anthropology and special education, all the while implementing innovative internship programs for troubled and troubling youth, including those with disabilities. Dr. Siegel has more than thirty publications in the education field and has been recognized for achievements in education and writing. Joe Manchin (D- W. Virginia) is basking in the limelight that he created by being a lynchpin in the US Senate. His antics are a continuing source of frustration for the President and the rest of the Democrats in the Senate. His deluded stubbornness, refusing to be a team player, or perhaps playing for the wrong team is nothing short of maddening.  Singlehandedly he is holding up any forward movement of the Biden agenda. Democrats are stymied at every turn.  While Manchin acts more like a Republican than a Democrat, voting rights advocates scream foul as hundreds of voter suppression bills become laws and threaten to blow up our democracy and bring about the end of “The Great Experiment” that is the United States of America.  Never forget, it's Manchin who is holding up passage of HR1 – the Voting Rights Bill, the only thing that has the potential to quash the outrageous and outright illiberal laws that bring the country closer and closer to autocratic rule.Robin's guest is Christale Spain, founder of 46 Hope Road, a voter engagement organization in South Carolina.  We take a deep dive into what voting rights groups are working on so that 2022 and beyond are not lost to the Machiavellian antics of the far right.

Anakana Schofield is an award-winning Irish-Canadian writer of fiction, essays, and literary criticism. Her previous novels are Malarky (2012) and Martin John (2015). The UK edition of Bina was shortlisted for the Goldsmiths Prize 2020. Schofield lives in Vancouver, British Columbia. A provocative, feminist novel about a woman who persists in spite of the violence, injustice, and oppression that fills her world. Bina is a woman who's had enough and isn't afraid to say so. “I'm here to warn you, not reassure you,” she announces at the book's outset. In a series of taut, urgent missives she attempts to set the record of her life straight, and in doing so, to be useful to others. Yet being useful is what landed her in jail. Empathy is her Achilles' heel. Her troubles seem to stem from an injured stranger named Eddie, and they multiply when her charity extends from delivering meals to the elderly to working with the dying. No good deed of hers goes unpunished and the costs of her capacity for care are legion, as one by one she is denied her livelihood, her health, and her freedom, but her voice continues resolutely, an act of friendship in itself. Bina is an unsettling, thought-provoking novel of formal inventiveness and moral and emotional complexity by a bold and talented writer.

Knowing the Lord and the Bible is a constant growing experience throughout one's life. You never get to a point where you can say, “Yep, I know all there is to know about spiritual things and I can't get any closer to my Savior.” Malarky. Not one person other than Jesus Christ, who is Himself also God, can make these claims. As Pastor Bill encourages in today's message, step one is to accept Jesus as your Savior. Step two is to read your Bible. You can't navigate this world apart from it.
