--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/jovem-pan-maring/message

Jahrhundert ziehen lassen. Die Beispiele: Die Seuche in Graz 1679, Influenza oder Gelbfieber in Bridgetown (Barbados) 1647 und die Pockenepidemie in Boston 1721 Kapitelmarken 02:48: Definition Epidemien und Pandemien und berühmte Beispiele 11:27: Forschungsprojekt: Epidemien in Graz 1679, Bridgetown 1647 und Boston 1721 21:01: Forschungsergebnisse: Schuldige für Epidemien in der Geschichte 26:44: Parallelen zu heute & damalige Maßnahmen gegen Infektionskrankheiten 36:51: Lehren aus der Geschichte 44:32: Auswirkungen von Epidemien auf Hochschulen und Unistädte 50:56: Bedeutung von Interdisziplinarität im Kontext Quellen: Christian Cwik, Stefan Rabitsch, Mark Stieger: Was wir von Pest & Co. lernen können, https://science.orf.at/stories/3200619/, 2020 Christian Cwik, Michael Zeuske, Simon Maierhofer, Mark Stieger: „Rettet die Unis und die Unistädte“, https://science.orf.at/stories/3200921/, 2020 Richard Peinlich, Geschichte der Pest in der Steiermark, 1878 Redaktion: Janna Gutenberg, Dianne Violeta Mausfeld & Christoph Halm weitere Infos auf: www.verzwickte-geschichte.de Instagram: verzwickte_geschichte Kontakt & Themenvorschläge: info@verzwickte-geschichte.de

Music from all over the Caribbean is gaining international recognition as it increasingly draws on influences from all around the world. In this first programme, Gemma Cairney looks at the new sounds of Soca in Trinidad and Barbados, which is a blend of both African and Trinidadian rhythms. It includes interviews with Bajan Soca queen Alison Hinds; Soca producers De Red Boyz; Salt, Bubbles & Nikita at Barbados station Slam 101FM; Bajan Spoken Word artist, DJ and cultural ambassador DJ Simmons; calypsonian Adonijah; Bristol-Trinidadian duo Jus Now and DJ Jillionaire from Major Lazer.
