I love hosting guest mixes here on LLM and especially love it when they come at the right time. I have been super busy so this curated set comes at the perfect time. This mix comes to us from Portland-based composer and multi-instrumentalist Eli Goldberg, aka Ann Annie. He has a new album coming out in June and a new single, Cottonwood, out now. You can listen to “Cottonwood” on all digital retailers (((HERE))) “Annie takes a transcendental approach to ambient country, coaching modular minimalism into a character that interacts with its surroundings.” - Bandcamp Daily Here is what Eli says about this mix: " 'Quiet Days' is a collection of some of my favorite artists and songs from the last year. Included are a few unreleased tracks from my upcoming album “The Wind”. I imagine listening to the mix while sitting at the coast on a foggy day." Thanks to Eli for putting together this excellent mix. Here's where you can find Ann Annie on the web: Website | Instagram | Facebook | YouTube Cheers! Dave speaks with Bryce Heys about his stable runners.
Teams from all over the country traveled to Pennsylvania to get a look at the National Meet course. Typically the Pre-National meet is circled on the calendar and produces great performances. The CMS women flew from California and put on a show. They won 51-99 over MIT and put 5 in the top 15. We're joined today by Nat Bitetti and Elle Marsyla who finished 2nd and 5th. Nat and Elle go into the dynamics of traveling across the country during the season, their team goals, and who is more likely to half step on easy runs. You'll also here how they prepare for races and more about the CMS team culutre. Simon Heys won the Men's race taking down former ROTW, John Lucey. Simon give a preview of the course, his goals for the season, and talks about his progression as a runner. This is Simon's second timing winning the Pre-National Meet and is looking forward to the post season. How to Support D3 Glory Days: D3 Glory Days Venmo. We launched a Patreon! This is a devotional taken from "Daily Devotions from the Psalms" written by Rev. John A. Heys, and published by the Reformed Book Outlet in Hudsonville, Michigan. Rev. Heys studied in the Protestant Reformed Seminary under the instruction of Herman Hoeksema and George M. Ophoff. He was ordained to the ministry of the Word, and installed as pastor, in Hope Protestant Reformed Church in Walker, Michigan in 1941. He served consecutively, and under the blessing of God effectively, three other Protestant Reformed churches, till his emeritation in 1980. In his 'retirement' he continued to be of service to the churches, and evidence of which is this set of daily devotions, one for each day of the year, published originally some 25 years ago by the Men's Society of Hudsonville (MI) Protestant Reformed Church, and reprinted here for the spiritual benefit of readers old and new. Scripture passages quoted by Rev. Heys are from the King James Version of the Bible, and the versification of the Psalms to which he refers are from the 1912 edition of the Psalter. May these brief meditations of Rev. Heys serve for the edification of the reader, as they also deepen his appreciation for the psalms-those "immortal songs of the Holy Spirit, those matchless hymns of the Bible which...with their measured language of religious feeling and devotion will abide until the end" (preface to the 1912 Psalter).
