Parsha "Ha'azinu" (Deuteronomy (chapter 32) is the second-to-last reading in the Torah, and the life of Moses. It is, specifically, the second "Song of Moses," that he sings, as a "witness against" them, and us, immediately prior to his death. It's also a warning that hits as close to home now as it ever has. The Erev Shabbat reading begins there: https://hebrewnationonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/SSM-10-3-25-Ha-azinu-teaching-podcast-xx.mp3 This Sabbath Day midrash comes just after the 'most holy' day of the year, Yom Kippur, and right before the final, climactic week of the Fall Feasts, the time of Sukkot, aka the Feast of Tabernacles, or booths, or even 'mangers.' Mark Call of Shabbat Shalom Mesa notes that the confluence of this reading, and the Song of Moses, at this time at the heart of the Fall Feasts should suggest two major admonitions from Scripture: "Know the times and the seasons," and that, furthermore, "NOW is the time!" Sukkot is almost certainly the time when the Messiah, Yahushuah, was actually born. But how many of us have heard, "I don't care - I love Xmas anyway," and similar excuses for accepting what we "know or should know" is a lie. Is this the year to stand on Truth? We also know, or should, that the word "jesus" never even existed until about 16 centuries as the Messiah walked the earth after that birth. No one EVER, not once, called Him by that name. And it thus cannot be (Acts 4) the "only name" by which we can be saved. Does that matter? Most of us have again heard, "I don't care," or "what difference does it really make?" So, if His birthday doesn't really matter, nor does His real Name, what about His Doctrine? Did He "do away with the law," or is that - as Mark strongly suggests - perhaps the Biggest Lie in all of human history? Does His Doctrine matter? Did He change it? Did He really change His Instruction about His moedim [appointed times], His Sabbaths, food, money, marriage - and just about anything else men decided they didn't like from His Word? Ha'azinu: When Does it Finally START to Matter? https://hebrewnationonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/WT-CooH-10-4-25-Ha-azinu-WHEN-Does-it-Start-to-Matter-podcast-xx-1.mp3 The combined two-part reading and Sabbath midrash:

Wednesday Oct. 1 2025, sundownEnding nightfall of Thursday Oct 2, 2025This morning we shall discuss the “Day of Atonement” or known as “Yom Kippur” [ Yom = the day, Kippur = ask for forgiveness]. Other words this is a special Feast in which you and I ask our Heavenly Father for all those sins which we may have overlooked throughout the past year.In recognition of Yahweh's Words, we are instructed to honor and respect His 7 Holy Feast periods. Check out Lev. 23 and Deut. 16. Now I realize that the conditions set forth by Yahweh differs from what He sets forth in the beginning. What caught my interest into these 7 Holy Feasts was the Prophetic Message contained within them. We find that within these 7, 4 are in the season of the spring, while the remaining 3 are in the fall or “harvest. In studying the Prophecy aspect of Yahweh's Words, we realize and conclude that these 7 Holy Feasts play an important role in the Prophecy of Yahshua Messiah concerning the past and the present. Let's take a brief view of the first 4 Feasts:The Feast of Passover pointed to Yahshua's death on Calvary as “the Lamb of Yahweh, who taketh away the sin of the world”, John 1:29 The Feast of Unleavened Bread attested to the fact that Yahshua's body, unlike all others would not decay in the grave. The Son of Yahweh, in speaking with His Heavenly Father said, “for Thou wilt not leave My soul in hell, neither wilt Thou permit Thine Holy One to see corruption” Psalms 16:10 The Feast of Firstfruits proclaimed the certainty of His bodily resurrection. The acceptance by Yahweh of the Firstfruits [sheaf] of the spring barley harvest guaranteed a full harvest to follow. By virtue of the resurrection of Yahshua Messiah, He is the Firstfruit and guarantees that all the Saints within Him will one day rise from the grave. The Feast of Pentecost, which occurs exactly 50 days after Firstfruits [the resurrection of the Messiah] anticipated the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the origin of the “Ek-kelsia”. We read in the Jewish Talmud, in the tractate of Sotah, foli #48 it reads in part “when Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi died, the Holy Spirit departed from Israel; nevertheless they made use of the Bath Kol.” [a divine voice from Heaven] These 4 events in the life of Yahshua Messiah, which the 4 spring feasts depicted, are history. We can look back at these events and they can be examined as historical facts. We can say that the first 4 set the foundation for the remaining 3. [As I think on this foundation, I think of the Tabernacle, which is to come, and when this Tabernacle comes, then all of His Elect come to dwell in the eternal] The fall Feasts have not yet occurred! They are yet future and predict with absolute certainty, events that will most assuredly unfold. As the 4 spring Feasts were fulfilled literally and right on schedule in connection with the Messiah's first coming, the 3 Fall Feasts will likewise be fulfilled literally and right on schedule in connection with His second coming. What about the future of the Day of Atonement? Read Hebrews 10:1; Hebrews 9:6-14 As we read last week on that Feast of Trumpets. We find in Rev. 11 those 2 witnesses, when they rose after those 3 ½ days. In verse 15 we read of that 7th trumpet being blown. From the time of that trumpet sound until that final cup of wrath is poured out, we have that opportunity to make atonement for our sins that took place during the tribulation period. Especially those that followed after that false messiah, thinking he was that true Messiah. What a sad sight, as some flee to the mountains praying for the rocks to fall on them, instead of making atonement. Have any questions? Feel free to email me, keitner2024@outlook.com

Rosh HaShanah begins at sundown on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025 and ends on Wednesday Sept. 24 2025. This begin the Jewish year 5786According to traditional Jewish thinking, this holiday honors the creation of mankind by Elohim. The Mishnah (earlier part of the Talmud) refers to Rosh Hashanah as the “Day of Judgment” (Yom ha-Din) since all of creation owes allegiance to the Creator and is accountable to Him. The name Elohim revealed in Genesis 1:1 speaks of Elohim as the Creator and Judge of the universe. In Jewish tradition on Rosh Hashanah we stand before Yahweh as our personal Creator and Judge. Many Messianic Jews believe that the sound of the Shofar on Rosh Hashanah is a symbol of the 2nd coming of the followers of Yahshua MessiahIn Hebrew, Rosh Hashanah means, literally, "Head of the Year," and as its name indicates, it is the beginning of the Jewish year. The days beginning with Rosh HaShana and ending with Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement) are known as “The Days of Awe.” This is a very special time of year on the Jewish calendar, a time of introspection and commitment to self-improvement for the coming year. Most of all, this is the season for repentance, prayer, and charity, as illustrated by the quotation above - since we are taught that these three things have the power to influence the outcome of our judgment in a favorable way. We are taught that on Rosh Hashana, Yahweh sits in judgment on all His creations and decides their fate. Everything is decided on this day, for every aspect of the entire creation, each individual and each nation. The Prophets of Israel repeatedly spoke of a future day when Yahweh would directly intervene in the affairs of men. They called that day “The Day of the Lord” [Isa. 13:6-13; Ezek. 13:3-8; Joel 1:15, 2:1; Amos 5:18-20; Zeph. 1:7-2:3; Zech 14:1-21; Mal. 4:5-6]. Two major themes are associated with the Day of the Lord. The first is the deliverance of the righteous. The second is the judgment of the wicked, in connection with His coming. The Son of Yahweh will call His own to Himself and then go to war against His enemies. It is the blowing of a Trumpet, which will signal those 2 events. In Paul's writing of 1 Thess. 4:16, the Lord will descend with the sound of the trumpet to call His own to His presence and in Chapter 5 Paul continues the thought, on the day of the Lord as it commences, during which time His wrath will be poured out against the wicked. In most basic terms, the Feast of Trumpets, the first of the Fall Feasts, which Yahweh gave to Israel, depicts the coming of Yahshua Messiah to take His virgin bride with Him into that eternal life, in that new Heaven and Earth! Perhaps one further thought is appropriate at this point. The Feast Trumpets occurs on the 1st day of the Hebrew 7th month Tisri. It would occur at the new moon. However clouds could obscure the moon and witnesses were required. Watchfulness was critical ingredient of this Feast. The Rabbis later added a second day to this Feast to make sure they did not miss it. This need for watchfulness and preparedness in connection with the Feast of Trumpets is echoed throughout the N.T. in connection with the Lord's coming. Watch, therefore; for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. [Matt. 24:42]Therefore, let us not sleep, as do others, but let us watch and be sober minded [1 Thess. 5:6]We know in the Parable of the Tares [Matt. 13] the harvest takes place in the fall. The reapers [angels] are sent forth to separate the wheat from the tares [zowan]. We read in Rev. 9:10 [read verses 3-10] about the locust army. [May-Sept.]The primary focus of the Feast of Trumpets is the return of Yahshua Messiah to this earth. The emphasis of this Trumpet Feast is mostly prophetic. Have any questions? Growing In God Podcast Program Number: GIG #267 Title: A Walk Through the Fall Feasts Web Description: We are coming to the biblical feasts of the fall season. And rather than seeing these feasts as disconnected events, see them as steps on a journey that begins with your receiving of the Word of God, continues with your atonement in Christ, and leads to your dwelling in His presence. Let these promises come to a completion and manifestation in your life. Show Notes: It is common to think of the biblical feasts as individual and separate events. But this podcast looks at the feasts of the fall season as a combined experience that is like a path we walk on. One feast leads to another in an unfolding walk with God. The first step on this journey is Yom T'ruah, the Day of Trumpets. Here we remember the time God appeared at Mount Sinai with the blast of a trumpet, which put all Israel into a state of awe. On the Day of Trumpets, we become aware that God Himself came down to the earth and will again when Christ returns. This awareness leads us into Ten Days of Repentance or the Days of Awe. This state of awe should be real to us. And we should recognize that as we walk with God, what He is doing in us and through us is to bring the nations into this same sense of awe, repentance, and worship of God. This state of repentance is to lead us into Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, which is about the removal of our sin. This opens the door to the experience of Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles. This is a remembrance of the time in the wilderness when the people lived in the presence of God. And we should reach into this experience. God removes our iniquity so we can live in His presence. Sukkot is celebrated for seven days, with an added eighth day, so that we can absorb all that God has done for us to change our lives. It leads us into His Word, into waiting on the Lord, and into appropriating all God's fullness. Key Verses: • Leviticus 23:23–25. “You shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.” • Hebrews 12:18–21. “You have not come to … the blast of a trumpet and the sound of words.” • Exodus 19:16–20. “The sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder.” • Psalm 22:23–26. “Stand in awe of Him, all you descendants of Israel.” • Psalm 22:27–28. “For the kingdom is the LORD's and He rules over the nations.” • Leviticus 23:26–32. “On exactly the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement.” • Read Leviticus 16. • Leviticus 23:33–36. “On the fifteenth of this seventh month is the Feast of Booths.” • Leviticus 23:37–39. “Celebrate the feast of the LORD for seven days, with a rest on the first day and a rest on the eighth day.” • John 1:1–13. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” • 1 John 2:6. “The one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.” Quotes: • “Something is going to happen as we walk through this beautiful landscape of the fall feasts.” • “We should look for God to meet us in such a dramatic way that it throws us into repentance. It brings us into an awe of God beyond anything we have ever known.” • “There's something about where we come out of this walk through the fall feasts together that brings us to the reality of Christ in our life. It brings us to embrace Him as the Word made flesh.” Takeaways: 1. At the trumpet blast on Mount Sinai, the people heard and saw the Word of God. And so these fall feasts take you on a journey that begins with your introduction into the Word of God. They bring you into an awe of Him. They bring you into atonement. And they bring you into the remembrance of living in His presence and seeing where He is taking you in the Kingdom of God as it manifests on the earth. 2. Christ walked the earth as the Word made flesh. That Word from the trumpet blast came alive before the eyes of men and women. And that is what is happening today. And it is happening in your heart. 3. Let us walk through this time of the fall feasts together and let it bring a fulfillment of His Word made alive in our flesh because we are to walk as He walked. And that is to be the Word of God manifested in this earth.

The 7 Feasts – Session 1: God's Appointed Times Key Verse: “These are the feasts of the Lord…my feasts” (Leviticus 23) Main Points God has a plan – nothing is random. Jesus was slain before the foundation of the world. The Feasts of the Lord are God's calendar: Spring Feasts (fulfilled by Christ's first coming): Passover – Jesus, the spotless Lamb, sacrificed. Unleavened Bread – His burial, sinless and pure. Firstfruits – His resurrection, the first of eternal life. Pentecost – Spirit poured out, 3,000 saved. Fall Feasts (awaiting fulfillment): Trumpets – points to resurrection/rapture. Day of Atonement – Israel's redemption. Tabernacles – Christ dwelling with His people. Takeaways Sin is choosing our way over God's way. The Feasts remind us of His authority. Legacy: Pass down faith, not just possessions. Hope: Like children at the window, we eagerly await Christ's return. Jesus fulfilled the first 4 feasts exactly—He will fulfill the last 3 in the same way. Application: Live ready. Hand down faith. Long for His coming. “Come quickly, Lord Jesus.”
Have you experienced the mystery of immersion? In this episode of the Curt Landry Podcast, Rabbi Curt and Darrell Puckett discuss Colossians 2:11-15 and what Paul means when he speaks of the “circumcision of the heart” and its connection to water immersion. Just as physical circumcision symbolizes a blood covenant to produce after God's covenant with Abraham, not the curse of the garden, circumcision of the heart symbolizes our covenant under the blood covering of Jesus. We bury our old nature, sins, iniquitous structures, and generational curses in the water, and rise up renewed in our true identity and new nature. Join Rabbi and Darrell as they share the story of how the revelation of immersion came to House of David, and invite you to join in person to immerse for Fall Feasts 5786. By Philip Aust - The Fall Feasts are quickly approaching. But why should we observe them since most churches of this world just ignore them? God has important reasons why we should make them an important part of our worship.
Are you ready for what's coming at the Fall Feasts? In this episode of the Curt Landry Podcast, Rabbi Curt and Darrell Puckett unpack the Hebrew month of Elul, a season of preparation, repentance, and second chances. This is a time to reflect on the agreements behind your triggers. God wants to expose what is sabotagoing your calling as you bring more of your past and questions to Him. Jesus grew in wisdom and stature through suffering, and so do we. As we join Jesus in His grief, we grow in spiritual maturity. Carrying Kingdom authority comes at a cost, and God is calling His people to greater trust and surrender as He takes us from glory to glory.Listen as Rabbi shares revelation from his recent sabbatical, reflections on the war in Israel, and the gift of participating in the biblical feasts. Rabbi shares the prophetic significance of this day, and reflects on the horrific events that occurred last Simchat Torah on October 7th in Israel. This year has proven we are at war, not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil. God's people must arise as spiritual warriors in this hour, trusting God will equip us for victory as we surrender to walk in His strength and wisdom and not our own. This is a special week, beginning what will almost certainly be a "special" month, even if it ends up spectacularly Evil. There have already been two massive, X-class, Earth-directed CMEs this week, arriving soon, and that may be just a harbinger of the fireworks intended to come. Man-made or not. It's also even a time when, calendar differences notwithstanding, most who read "Scripture-as-Written," will seek to celebrate, or 'remember' the Fall Feasts of YHVH. And, likewise, the birth of our Messiah - even if 'the world' doesn't get it. All of which means: "It's OCTOBER -- Surprise!!!" So pay attention. And "be not deceived."

Do you feel like a fraud? What does that have to do with the fall feasts?
In this episode of the Curt Landry Podcast, Rabbi Curt and Darrell Puckett continue their conversation on the prophetic significance of the Fall Feasts 5785, specifically the cleansing of Yom Kippur and the wedding feast of Sukkot. They speak into how to battle fear and anxiety amid the volatile nature of our times, and the power of being Kingdom-focused and Kingdom-minded in everything.
Web Description: God rested from His works. That means they are completed. And that is what the Sabbath is all about. This Sabbath rest of God is expressed in the coming feasts of the fall season. They are windows of opportunity to enter God's rest by rejoicing in, proclaiming, and appropriating God's completed provisions. Show Notes: On the seventh day God rested from all His works that He had completed. Then He set apart the seventh day as the Sabbath, a day when we recognize that God has completed all His works for us. They exist now, and therefore we look forward to appropriating everything that He has made available to us. And the upcoming fall feasts are a perfect time for us to do that. We should approach these times with a drive in our hearts to appropriate God's provisions and see them manifested. The fall feasts begin with Yom Truah, the Day of Trumpets. According to the meaning of truah, Yom Truah is a day of blowing the trumpet, shouting, or crying aloud before the Lord. This reminds us that while we have many promises in the Word of God, we should be shouting and proclaiming them. We find this command throughout the Scriptures that we are to shout, rejoice, and worship God in what He has spoken. His great provisions are available for us now, and we proclaim them into the earth. The Sabbath rest of God means that we are not waiting for the promises of the feasts to be fulfilled in the future. We rejoice in our total salvation on the Day of Atonement and in God's presence with us at Tabernacles. These are already created in God, finished, and available to us. These days of the biblical feasts are more than just observances. They are a time to reach in for that which has been completed for us by God. We celebrate these feasts by entering God's rest, by worshipping Him, by rejoicing in what He has provided, and by appropriating His provisions into our experience. Key Verses: • Genesis 2:2–3. “God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work.” • Psalm 98:4–9. “Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth.” • Isaiah 54:1–3. “Break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud.” • Jeremiah 31:7–9. “Sing aloud with gladness for Jacob, and shout.” • Jeremiah 29:11–14. “You will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.” • Deuteronomy 4:29–35. “From there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him.” • Ezekiel 36:24–28. “I will cleanse you from all your filthiness.” • Zechariah 2:10–13. “Sing for joy and be glad.” • Leviticus 26:11–12. “I will make My dwelling among you.” • Exodus 29:45–46. “I will dwell among the sons of Israel.” • Psalm 118:21–29. “Let us rejoice and be glad.” • John 7:37–38. “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.” Quotes: • “I don't want to wait for some day in the future. If I wait too long, I'm not going to be here to enjoy it. I want the Kingdom to come in my time. I want these things to manifest because Christ said, ‘It is finished.'” • “We want to appropriate the open door that exists right now for God's people to return to the land in a time of great blessing, upon a straight path which the Lord will make so that there is no stumbling.” • “We don't wait for Him to fulfill the promises and then feel thankful, then feel glad, then feel rejoicing. We feel it now. It is completed now. It exists now. It's available now.” Takeaways: 1. In looking at the Sabbath rest of God, we realize that God has finished the provisions that He made for us. The things that He has made available for us are ours to appropriate. They exist now. 2. The feasts are windows of time that God has made available. So we should approach these celebrations with a determination to find out what God has provided in them and be driven to receive all that He has for us. 3. The feasts are times to shout and declare God's promises, to worship Him and rejoice in their completion and our appropriation of them today. 4. We live in a day when the nations are coming against Israel and the Jewish people. But that is the opposite of what God has provided. God has provided for many nations to join themselves to the Lord and to Israel and become His people. Then He will dwell in our midst. Let us celebrate this as a reality now at this time of Tabernacles.
