Day 1,393.Today, as EU leaders meet to decide what – if anything – to do with frozen Russian assets, we examine just how consequential this moment could be for the bloc and for European security more broadly. We also analyse how Vladimir Putin has deliberately shifted his language to appeal to Donald Trump, and track another attack on a Russian oil tanker as Moscow's Black Sea Fleet appears to have blockaded itself inside Novorossiysk rather than risk further Ukrainian drone strikes.ContributorsDominic Nicholls (Associate Editor of Defence). @DomNicholls on X.Francis Dearnley (Executive Editor for Audio). @FrancisDearnley on X.Joe Barnes (Brussels Correspondent). @Barnes_Joe on X.SIGN UP TO THE ‘UKRAINE: THE LATEST' WEEKLY NEWSLETTER:http://telegraph.co.uk/ukrainenewsletter Each week, Dom Nicholls and Francis Dearnley answer your questions, provide recommended reading, and give exclusive analysis and behind-the-scenes insights – plus maps of the frontlines and diagrams of weapons to complement our daily reporting. This principle of truth, concerning the necessity of mortification, is retained in the Church of Rome; yea, she pretends highly unto it, above any other Christian society. The mortification of their devotionists is one of the principal arguments which they plead, to draw unwary souls over unto their superstition. Yet, in the height of their pretenses unto it, they have lost all experience of its nature, with the power and efficacy of the grace of Christ therein; and have, therefore, framed an image of it unto themselves. For,— 1. They place the eminency and height of it in a monastical life, and pretended retirement from the world.

The All Local Afternoon Update for Wednesday December 17th 2025
In this episode, John looks at how new technology has always reshaped the music industry and what singers can learn from past shifts. From synthesizers to AI, he explains why the artists who adapt, stay curious, and use new tools thoughtfully are the ones who thrive. The heart of great music is still human connection, and no technology can replace that. Episode highlights: Technology reshapes music, but adaptable singers thrive. AI can support creativity, not replace it. Human emotion and authenticity remain irreplaceable. Welcome back to our BTK/ASGBI Series! During this series, BTK fellow Agnes Premkumar and ASGBI hosts Jared Wohlgemut and Gita Lingam compare and contrast various aspects of surgery between the United States and the United Kingdom, debating who does what better. We are happy to be continuing our AI discussion further with another episode. While last episode lay a foundation on discussing the unique differences in the role and regulation of AI in both these countries, now we delve into some of the clinical challenges. What does AI and the future of surgery look like in underserved locations such as the battlefield or the rural communities. What does this mean for our future as surgeons…will we be replaced? And how should we address the integration of AI within our practices? We are thrilled to have our trio of experts discussing this further. Dr. Nelson is a surgical oncologist working at the Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, he's very interested in expanding the role of AI within surgical education and beyond. Dr. Larson is a general surgery resident at the Mayo Clinic. She's currently in her research time and finishing up her master's degree in AI and studying the role of machine learning within surgical practice. Dr. Mukherjee is a surgeon scientist alongside an Honorary Consultant General & Major Trauma Surgeon in Liverpool, England. His current research bridges academia with industry and is aimed at transforming the treatment of critical illness through the development of next-generation therapies for pancreatitis-induced acute lung injury through the utilisation of cutting-edge AI driven drug discovery approaches. PhotoBizX The Ultimate Portrait and Wedding Photography Business Podcast
In this episode, I'm chatting with Ben Potter from BP Portrait Art in Melbourne — a photographer who has quietly built one of the most profitable and systemised portrait studios I've seen. Ben shares how he moved away from Facebook ads, why community fundraising became his most reliable lead source, and how trusting the numbers — not emotions — transformed both his sales and his confidence. We dig into pricing psychology, strong offers, automation, and why messy action beats waiting for the perfect plan every time. If you're serious about building a photography business that's profitable, repeatable and far less stressful to run, this conversation will challenge how you think about growth — and what actually drives it. The post 647: Ben Potter – How Fundraising Replaced Facebook Ads in His Portrait Studio appeared first on Photography Business Xposed - Photography Podcast - how to build and market your portrait and wedding photography business.

What if you could document your processes, create SOPs, and assign tasks to your team—all in five minutes? In this episode, Kristen shares how she went from spending hours writing standard operating procedures to having an AI agent handle it all. She records herself doing a task once, drops the video into her Claude AI agent, and within minutes it drafts the entire SOP, writes task descriptions, and assigns work to her team through Asana. This isn't about replacing people—it's about reclaiming the time you spend being the bottleneck in your own business. Kristen walks through her system for building AI agents that think like you, trained on your voice and your processes. She shares how this approach saves her 90 minutes per delegation and keeps her focused on growth instead of operations. If you're tired of writing SOPs, managing every detail, or wishing your team could read your mind, this episode shows you a practical way to build your AI business team.

In our "throw away" society where people get new smart phones more often than a new pair of shoes, and ballplayers change teams when the wind changes direction, too many people are led to think they are replaceable also. But God has a different take on things. He knows and loves each and every person and wants each one to enjoy eternal life with Him. No one can be replaced.

In this hard-hitting episode, we get real about the possible affects of A.I. on the Christian creative's career, while giving much needed spiritual perspective on this technological tidal wave. At the time, I was a hospital pharmacist earning a solid 120k a year. I loved being good at my job, but it was draining me. I wanted to do work that was more creative, flexible, and aligned with my body and values But I needed to make sure it could still pay the bills. In this week's episode, I'm sharing the 3 key steps I used to make that transition & how you can start moving toward your own next chapter. Did Christianity lose Jesus' true message? Explore how faith without love turned Christ's living teaching of compassion into a doctrine of belief — and why it's time to return to the heaven within. The viral “church call test” spreads across social media, where a woman has phoned dozens of churches, asking for baby formula, only to be turned away again and again. This has revealed something bigger than one story: a glimpse into how modern Christianity may have lost touch with the love it preaches. This talk with Rev. Cory examines what this viral story says about church life today - how the teachings of Paul often overshadow Jesus' call to live the Divine Love within. From firsthand experience in ministry to Swedenborg's mystical insights, we explore why compassion, not dogma, is the true test of faith, whatever the religion. This is an invitation, not an attack, to re-center on what Jesus actually said about following him and entering Heaven: “Why say Lord, Lord, and not do what I tell you?”

=== SNIPPETS FROM THE SUMMIT === We all know the "underground society" of pickups artists is LONG gone. Or is it? Some say they simply moved their sentiments over to the #MGTOW or "red-pilled" movements, hoping to fly under the radar with a rebrand. But I'm not so sure about that. After all, lately I've been hit with requests to pitch you guys on "new" products that look and feel exactly like something out of 2008. Could it be there's a belief out there that the new generation of guys will respond to exactly what the last generation did? Well, I personally believe a LOT has changed out there, and with it must come a true evolution of the PUA mindset...especially when it comes to what has been known as "night game". What happens when hardly anyone shows up to church, the worship leader is gone, there's no sermon prepared, and the pastor is running on four hours of sleep? Most church planters would cancel. Peyton didn't—and it turned into one of the most meaningful Sundays he's ever experienced. In this episode, Peyton tells the story of a tiny gathering that turned into a powerhouse discipleship moment. A recovering addict asked real questions. A brand-new believer learned how to pray out loud for the first time. Walls dropped, Scripture came alive, and the Spirit showed up in ways no carefully planned service could have produced. This episode is a reminder that church planting is not about the show—it's about people. When you let discipleship take the lead, Jesus gets the spotlight. If you've ever wondered how to create a culture where people talk, ask honest questions, pray for each other, and grow on Sundays—not just listen—this one is for you.Resources and Links Mentioned in this Episode:Reliant Mission: reliant.org/cppNewBreed TrainingThanks for listening to the church planter podcast. PREVIEW. Analyzing the Gaza 'Board of Peace' Proposal: Security and Trust Concerns. Bill Roggio analyzed the US 10-point Gaza proposal, which creates a political/technical "board of peace" to supervise rebuilding until it is replaced by Gazans in 2027. Crucially, the plan does not provide for security. Key issues include determining who will comprise the board, who will provide security forces, and whether Israel can trust certain participants, such as Turkey or Qatar. 1936

Astrophysicist Dr. Jason Lisle joins to unpack today's biggest scientific obsessions—from UFOs and aliens to climate change and human “upgrades.” He explains why these pursuits reveal less about discovery and progress—and far more about our refusal to trust the Creator who already rules it all. Segment 1: The Truth Behind UFOs • What NASA and the military call “unidentified” is usually just misidentified. • The shocking connection between cruise ships, party balloons, and UFO sightings. • Why we love the idea of aliens—and what that craving reveals about our hearts. Segment 2: Why the World Wants Aliens • Secular culture's obsession with ETs is really a longing to replace the Creator. • How evolution drives the search for life in space—and fuels disbelief in Genesis. • The deeper question: are we looking for life out there because we've rejected the Life-Giver here? Segment 3: The Climate Panic vs. God's Providence • Global warming” became “climate change” when the data stopped cooperating. • Scripture and science both show the Earth's climate has always fluctuated. • God promised the seasons will endure—so why the panic? Segment 4: When Science Tries to Replace God • The danger of trying to “improve” humanity instead of restore what sin broke. • Why curing disease honors the Creator—but trying to become Him doesn't. • From Babel to biotech, every age repeats the same lie: “You can be like God.” ___ Thanks for listening!
