Dr. Dror Robinson's five-year longitudinal Israeli study goal was to evaluate inhaled cannabis use for diabetic neuropathy. He found it works and he now believes all diabetics should be inhaling cannabis flower. The study can be faulted for the lack of diversity with the 52 individuals sampled, however the study presents a 97% sample retention, and the evidence suggests every participant benefitted from the in-haled cannabis therapy. In this episode, Kirk and Trevor discuss the real-world application of cannabis medicine found to reduce pain, positively modulates the A1C, and decreases the pharmaceutical costs for people with diabetes. This is a must listen for those who are affected by diabetes.Dr. Robinson - LinkedInTranscripts, papers and so much more at: reefermed.ca

What happens when a brand‑new believer faces mockery at home, financial strain, and a nation at war—and chooses to study harder, love deeper, and answer with reasons instead of rage? Raviv Dror shares his newfound faith and path through doubt, dialogue, and devotion, exploring how apologetics turned shaky mornings into a steady, lived faith. In Part 2, Raviv explains how apologetics helped him both strengthen his new faith and share it with others. Là-bas, Le Nouvel Obs a rencontré Ali.

What happens when a life built on certainty starts to crack? Hear the One80 of Raviv Dror, who grew up in a hardline communist kibbutz where the collective came first, religion, even true Judaism, was scorned, and affection felt scarce. His story carries us from growing up on a faithless kibbutz to a cross-continent love that opens a door he isn't ready to walk through—until everything else falls apart. In part 1, hear how God broke Raviv free from communist ideology and slowly, faith starts to move in.Helpful Links:Raviv's book Three in One: Being Israeli, Jewish & Believer IN CHRISTRaviv's book The Third WayRaviv's Faithful Tales Children's books, seriesApologetics resources recommended by Raviv:Dr. Frank Turek, CrossExamined.org Prof John Lennox https://www.johnlennox.org/Dr. William Lane Craig reasonablefaith.org Dennis Prager, https://www.prageru.com/Prayercast IsraelOther resources:Zionism: A Concise History, Alex RyvchinLet us know what you thought of the show!Follow One80 on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or our website.Never miss a One80. In this new episode of Proyecto 1954, Enrique Perret, Managing Director of the US-Mexico Foundation, sits down with Dror Bar-Ziv — a USMexico360 alumnus, hedge fund manager, and business leader actively building community and networks in the Washington, D.C. area. Dror reflects on his recent experience in Mexico City as part of the USMexico360 program, a week-long immersion organized by the US-Mexico Foundation in partnership with Meridian International Center. During his visit, Dror had the opportunity to engage with policymakers, business leaders, and civil society organizations — all while major policy developments unfolded, including the announcement of new U.S. tariffs on Mexican goods. These moments offered a rare look at the Mexican perspective, prompting deep conversations on how U.S. domestic policies ripple across borders, and how we might better connect, collaborate, and integrate as a North American region. Beyond his experience with USMexico360, Dror also shares how his broader relationship with the Foundation — including events like the Meridian Ball Pre-Ball Ambassador Dinner hosted by Enrique and his wife — has deepened his interest and understanding of U.S.-Mexico ties beyond tourism. From business and government to civil society and diplomacy, he discusses the importance of building bridges that go far beyond trade. This episode is a thoughtful look at how young leaders are shaping the future of bilateral relations, one meaningful exchange at a time.
Welcome to The Times of Israel's Daily Briefing, your 20-minute audio update on what's happening in Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish world. Military reporter Emanuel Fabian joins host Amanda Borschel-Dan for today's episode. Five IDF divisions, made up of tens of thousands of troops, continue to operate across Gaza. Dozens of airstrikes were carried out in the past days, but one in particular has captured international attention: a strike near a Gaza water distribution point that reportedly killed several children. The IDF said Sunday that it was an accident and attributed it to a “technical malfunction.” Fabian reports on the accidental strike and compares the IDF's quick accountability of it to reports of mass deaths from humanitarian aid distribution sites. A proposed plan to establish a “humanitarian city” in southern Gaza’s Rafah continues to receive backlash. According to the plan, at least 600,000 Palestinians would be allowed into a newly rebuilt area of the city after being cleared that they are not Hamas. Some critics -- including former prime minister Ehud Olmert -- allege that it resembles the Nazi concentration camps built during World War II. Fabian talks about the plan, puts it in to the greater context of the entire Gideon's Chariots operation and explains the reported criticism from within the IDF itself. Israeli troops found more than three tons of weapons while raiding military facilities inside Syria, including anti-tank mines, explosive devices, and rockets. The sites had been maintained by the deposed Bashar al-Assad regime. We hear about the raid and the scale of the troops' finds. Israel’s most advanced communications satellite, dubbed Dror-1, was successfully launched into space from Cape Canaveral in the United States on Sunday aboard a Falcon 9 two-stage rocket, manufactured by Elon Musk’s SpaceX. Fabian was inside the Israeli control room and reports back. Check out The Times of Israel's ongoing liveblog for more updates. Dr. Itiel Dror is used to facing resistance to his work. It comes with the territory when you're a neuroscientist studying cognitive bias in experts: no one wants to believe they have biases they're not aware of. Billionaires are investing in longevity science, and it could change how the rest of us live, age, and access healthcare. In this episode, Dr. Andrew Fix talks with Dr. David Dror, a health economist and author of “Investors in Longevity,” about the future of aging and why massive private investment is flowing into the science of longer, healthier lives. What happens when aging becomes a market opportunity? And who benefits when medicine moves toward personalization and prevention instead of standardized care? Dr. Dror shares insights from decades of global work in health systems and social protection. He explains why longevity is more than living longer. Longevity is about preserving physical and cognitive function as we age. From cellular reprogramming to AI-driven drug discovery, the conversation highlights advances that could push the boundaries of what we expect from medicine. But access isn't equal, and that matters. Dr. Dror offers a clear call to action: get informed. As science and capital converge, individuals who understand the landscape will be in a better position to advocate for their health and shape their future. Quotes “We have all grown up and lived for years with the notion that public money creates public health... When this now goes away... does that mean we're going to have private health?” (07:06 | Dr. David Dror) “We are not yet at the stage where personalized medicine is really the domain of the public at large in any country that I know of... But now we're talking about a different game altogether based on the individualized picture in terms of your cell structure.” (25:30 | Dr. David Dror) “Aging needs a rebrand. Aging isn't a downhill side. Aging is actually an upgrade waiting for better PR. And we can flip the script. Longer lives mean more time for growth.” (34:59 | Dr. David Dror) “If people will live to 100, they will probably work to 80 or 85... So on the three very important aspects of work, welfare, and wealth, longevity has a huge set of impacts.” (36:40 | Dr. David Dror) Links Connect with Dr. David Dror: https://www.linkedin.com/in/daviddror/ https://www.amazon.com/Investors-Longevity-Capital-Future-Extending/dp/297018320X SideKick Tool: https://bit.ly/4a6CqJS Movemate: Award-Winning Active Standing Board https://shorturl.at/egkA1 Promo Code: DRA15 15% off RAD Roller: http://radroller.refr.cc/drandrewfix Revogreen https://revogreen.co/drandrewfix HYDRAGUN https://bit.ly/43rAtnX Athletic Brewing: 20% off: https://athleticbrewing.rfrl.co/vrmx8 20% off: ANDREWF20 Connect with Physio Room: Website | https://physioroomco.com/ Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/physioroomco/ Facebook | https://www.facebook.com/physioroomco Andrew's Personal Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/drandrewfix/ Andrew's Personal Facebook | https://www.facebook.com/andrew.fix.9/ Podcast production and show notes provided by HiveCast.fm

Alice Shahar, a preschool teacher from Kibbutz Be'eri and a survivor of the October 7th massacre, bravely took on the challenge of helping the kibbutz children heal from their trauma. Along with Elad Pelleg, the former director of Dror Israel's high school for at-risk youth in Tel Aviv, she re-established the kibbutz preschool system at a hotel at the Dead Sea, where the survivors had been evacuated. Together, they led this life-affirming initiative in the kibbutz's temporary residence, in partnership with Dror Israel, one of Israel's largest grassroots educational organizations. Eyal Tarchitzky, an educator from Dror Israel whose family also survived the October 7th massacre in Sderot, shared the deeply moving stories of how Dror Israel's educational collaborations with Kibbutz Be'eri and other evacuated communities nurtured resilience and hope, touching the lives of over 41,000 people from the outbreak of the war to the ongoing rehabilitation efforts in the south and north. At Black Hat 2024 in Las Vegas, Sean Martin from On Location interviews Dror Liwer of Coro, uncovering the impressive strides Coro has made in creating a truly cohesive cybersecurity platform. This conversation reveals how Coro distinguishes itself in an industry saturated with buzzwords and inadequate solutions, particularly for smaller and mid-sized businesses.Meeting in VegasSean Martin starts the conversation by appreciating the vibrant atmosphere at the Black Hat Business Hall. The colorful Coro booth, coupled with the energetic team, sets the perfect backdrop for a discussion centered on platform innovation.Sean Martin: "Here we are, Dror. Fantastic seeing you here in Vegas."Dror Liwer: "It's where we meet."The Platform BuzzThe term “platform” has become a buzzword in the cybersecurity industry. Dror explains that many companies claim to offer platforms, but these so-called platforms often result from the integration of various point solutions, which don't communicate effectively with each other.Dror Liwer: “We built Coro as a platform and have been a platform for 10 years. It's kind of funny to see everybody now catching up and trying to pretend to be a platform.”Dror criticizes how companies use “platform” to create market confusion, explaining that a true platform requires seamless integration, a single endpoint agent, and a unified data lake.Defining a True PlatformDror and Sean delve deep into what makes Coro's platform genuinely innovative. Dror emphasizes that a real platform collects and processes data across multiple modules, providing a single pane of glass for operators. He contrasts this with other solutions that merely integrate various tools, resulting in operational complexity and inefficiencies.Dror Liwer: "A real platform is an engine that has a set of tools on top of it that work seamlessly together using a single pane of glass, a single endpoint agent, and a single data lake that shares all of the information across all of the different modules."The Role of DataData integration is a cornerstone of Coro's platform. Dror explains that each module in Coro functions as both a sensor and protector, feeding data into the system and responding to anomalies in real-time.Dror Liwer: "The collection of data happens natively at the sensor. They feed all the data into one very large data lake."This unified approach allows Coro to eliminate the time-critical gap between event detection and response, a significant advantage over traditional systems that often rely on multiple disparate tools.Supporting MSPs and Mid-Market BusinessesOne of Coro's key missions is to support Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and mid-market businesses, sectors that have been largely overlooked by larger cybersecurity firms. By offering a more manageable and less costly platform, Coro empowers these providers to offer comprehensive cybersecurity services without the high operational costs traditionally associated with such tasks.Dror Liwer: “We are changing that economic equation, allowing MSPs to offer full cybersecurity solutions to their customers at an affordable price.”Fulfilling New RequirementsDror also sheds light on how Coro helps businesses comply with new regulatory requirements or cybersecurity mandates, often dictated by their position in the supply chain.Dror Liwer: "When this guy comes to you and says, ‘Hey, I need to now comply with this or do that,' this is an opportunity to tell them, ‘Don't worry. I got you covered. I have Coro for you.'”ConclusionDror Liwer's insights during Black Hat 2024 highlight how Coro is not only addressing but revolutionizing the cybersecurity needs of small to mid-sized businesses and their MSP partners. By creating a true platform that reduces complexity and operational costs, Coro sets a new standard in the cybersecurity industry.Learn more about CORO: https://itspm.ag/coronet-30deNote: This story contains promotional content. Here we are, once again from the bustling show floor at Infosecurity Europe 2024 in London, situated at the Excel Centre. Sean Martin of ITSP Magazine is your host, and he's joined by Dror Liwer, co-founder of CORO Security. Both are excited to dive deep into how CORO is expanding its focus into the European market.Day Three: Nonstop Conversations and PresentationsFrom the get-go, Dror shares his enthusiasm about being part of this prestigious event for the first time. With a primary presence in the U.S., CORO is now aggressively moving into EMEA, starting right here in London. This move is in response to increasing demand from small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe who need robust cybersecurity solutions.Addressing the Security Needs of SMEsSean recalls the comprehensive capabilities of CORO discussed in previous episodes. CORO provides multiple layers of security tailored to an organization's specific needs, such as regulatory requirements, budget, and staffing capabilities. Sean encourages everyone to revisit those insightful seven-minute chats from RSA Conference to get an in-depth view.Dror emphasizes that CORO is unique in targeting the mid-market from the ground up, unlike other companies that retrofit enterprise solutions to fit smaller businesses. With a focus on simplicity and powerful protection, CORO ensures that its solutions are manageable even for lean IT teams.Navigating the Complexities of EuropeOne of the significant discussions revolves around the differences between the U.S. and European markets. While Sean and Dror acknowledge the similar types of cyber threats faced globally, operational nuances like data residency and privacy regulations differ widely across Europe. CORO has established a data center in Germany to comply with local data residency requirements, ensuring that email and file inspections stay within the EU boundaries.Real-World Applications and ChallengesSean drives the conversation into the specific challenges CORO has faced and the different attack scenarios in Europe compared to the U.S. Dror mentions that while SME awareness of being targets has been prevalent in the U.S. for a while, European SMEs are just beginning to realize the same. As a result, CORO is educating this market about the imminent threats and how to efficiently protect against them without becoming overwhelmed. The Importance of AffordabilityDror and Sean discuss the financial challenges faced by SMEs, such as difficult decisions on whether to invest in cybersecurity or other critical needs like educational resources. Dror emphasizes that CORO has priced its suite of security solutions to remove this barrier, making comprehensive coverage affordable for even the smallest enterprises.Team and Technology: The Backbone of COROThe conversation takes a moment to appreciate CORO's dedicated team. Sean praises the high energy and mutual support visible at CORO's booth. Dror points out that customer reviews often highlight how easy it is to work with CORO—a testimony to the company's dedication to protecting overlooked small and mid-sized businesses. The Future of SME CybersecurityCORO aims to remove the guesswork ("threat roulette”) for SMEs by providing an all-encompassing platform that is accessible and easy to manage. This approach ensures that small businesses can protect themselves comprehensively without the need to prioritize between different threat vectors due to budget constraints.CORO's MissionAs the conversation winds down, Dror reiterates CORO's mission to protect SMEs globally and make cybersecurity as effortless as possible. Sean encourages attendees of Infosecurity Europe to visit CORO's dynamic and innovative booth, and for those who cannot make it, to check out CORO online. SMBs and Mid Market companies make up 63% of the GDP, and over 70% of employment - making them the backbone of the economy. The entire cybersecurity industry is focused on the enterprise market, paying lip service to the SMB SME segments, leaving them vulnerable to cyber attacks. Coro decided to change the status quo and built a platform that was designed from day one for the overlooked SMB and SME segments - because we believe they deserve the best protection there is so they can focus on growing their businesses, and not cyber threats. There were three barriers to SMBs getting adequate protection: The need for multiple tools to get end to end protection, the extreme labor intensiveness of managing these platforms, and the overall cost. What Coro did was create a platform that removes all three barriers. 1) It's a single platform with one dashboard and one endpoint agent that covered all of the cybersecurity needs. 2) The platform uses smart automation to offload workloads from people to machines, dramatically reducing the need to chase and remediate security events manually, and 3) Provide all of that for a price point that any SMB could easily afford.Visit the Coro website and schedule a call with our Cyber Experts to see how we can help.Learn more about CORO: https://itspm.ag/coronet-30deNote: This story contains promotional content.
