I am seaming squares using the Mattress Stitch. I started working on this after being inspired by NDJen04's video about her scrappy blanket- you can find that find on YouTube. I had the 2 color (on the diagonal) granny square memorized but totally forgot how to do those. For fibery crafts, Millie shared some progress on her Dads hat, Hattie practiced treadling on my spinning wheel and Hattie & I made pompoms. They spoiled me rotten and it was so great catching up. Silly braids for skiing! Megg gifted me 3 skeins of alpaca yarn from her trip to the Azores! 50g skeins in white, gray and a peachy/pink! Monday (05-04-2020) my guests were Shannon and Jason Mullett-Bowlsby, the dynamic DIY duo known as the Shibaguyz… the inspired creators of Shibaguyz Designz Studio. Their award winning crochet, knit, and sewing designs have been featured in and on the covers of dozens of domestic and international publications. Together, the Shibaguyz team has over 300 published patterns and 11 books credited to their name since their first design was featured on a magazine cover in 2010. Currently, they are finishing work on a new book with C&T Publishing scheduled for release December 2020. In addition to their design work, the Shibaguyz are sought-after freelance book-packaging designers having crafted books and photography for major publishing companies like Sterling Publishing, Leisure Arts, and Creative Publishing. The Shibaguyz have been teaching adults for 30+ years. Their enthusiasm, quirky sense of humor, and relatable teaching style have made them sought after teachers in both local and national venues like STITCHES Events, Sew Expo, and Houston Quilt Market. I'm not usually huge into board games but this was fun and I'm glad I chose to say yes! We went to a movie night at local shopping center. I love the new Beauty and the Beast. Kids had a blast (Garret spent half the night talking about hand knit socks and coming up with his 2-part sock idea) I made it a point to go up to Camp to see my cousin for my great uncle's memorial service. So great to spend quality time with my cousin who lives in Florida. On a Happy Note Kayaking Christi78 reached out to say: " Really enjoyed this episode. Quality family time that you can hear more about from Aila (8) and Will (10) at the end of the episode. I spent quality time with my great Aunt Florence after knee replacement. When she's done w/ rehab for her knee, going to make a date to have her help me with a sewing project.     On a Happy Note Dan and I are planning a kayak camping trip in August. My friend Devon was back in the US for a visit. She lives in Vienna now with her husband and they are expecting first baby in November. While she was home, she, Kris and I made this corn chowder recipe from Food + Wine. It was a little bland so we added a little cayan pepper and about a cup and half of Fiesta blend shredded cheese from Whole Foods (just what I had in my fridge). Then on Sunday we went to her Shower. Enjoying getting back to walking on a more consistent basis. Save as jpg. Pdf. Save to folder. To Mac photos program. Create profiles for types of things. Once set up, very easy. Can scan up to 8.5 inches wide. Multiple items of different sizes at once Only thing it had trouble feeding was polaroids. Didn't play with paper settings because we didn't have enough to warrant and there were two of us. Got through nearly 10 years of photos in about 7 hours. Still have tons more to do. Process. Scan. Save to photos program. Tag with Year and other tags. Christmas.
