Proff on Location Sessions at ADE presented by The DJ Sessions 10/19/22 About Proff - Music has accompanied Vladimir Ershov (PROFF) his whole life. From a very tender age, he was obtaining classical education at musical, variety art, and jazz schools as well as extra lessons of piano and saxophone mastership. Sometime later, he discovered a new world of electronic sounds which afterward entirely captured his mind. Experiments with the basic audio production software, loops and sample libraries, purchase of the first synthesizer, attention, and support from fellows on the dance music scene took Vladimir closer to the fulfillment of his dream to become a professional DJ and producer with every next step.   PROFF started DJing on a regular basis in 2003, he participated in a number of DJ contests and recieved medal places. Since 2004, Vladimir was a resident at Sunwave radio station and combined scheduled broadcasts with the continuous sharpening of his production skills at the studio in search of his very own signature sound. While PROFF's gig schedule got much tougher, a natural result was increased attention to both his DJing style and own tracks: the debut ones, “Gentleman” and “You'll See,” were released on Moscow Dancefloor Records in 2006, and the first strong work which has seen the light of day outside Russia was PROFF's remix of “Zair” by Tenthu, released in 2007 on Alter Ego in the UK. Shortly thereafter, Vladimir's name appeared on a number of record labels, including Send Records, Snoochi Boochi, Flash Records, Mashtronic, and Kontakt Recordings, his own imprint.   A life-changing turning point for PROFF's biography was his acquaintance with the Australian producer Jaytech in 2008, who introduced the works of the Russian fellow to the members of the Above & Beyond trio. It started a long-term and fruitful collaboration with the British label Anjunadeep, which blazed a trail for Vladimir's music to the international market. Having gained the support of top-level names of the dance music industry like Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Kyau & Albert, Mat Zo, Super8 & Tab, and Michael Cassette, today's PROFF continues to summit new heights of an artist's creative career.   PROFF is justly considered as one of modern Russia's most successful producers. He participated in the grandiose celebration of the jubilee 300th episode of Trance Around The World radio show and is a frequent DJ at Kazantip. His tracks jeweled Anjunadeep's 100th release, The Collaborations EP, and the summarizing compilation Anjunadeep The Yearbook 2011. Original productions, collective works, and numerous remixes by PROFF have been repeatedly ranked in Top 100 Beatport and caught the attention of the dance music industry flagships like Armada Music, Solaris, Vandit, Proton, Silk Music, Noys Music, and Enhanced.   At present, Vladimir's discography counts over 100 releases; he devotes himself to daily studio work, gigs across Russia and all over the world, recording PROFF Music podcasts and collecting ideas for the debut artist album, which, according to Vladimir's projection, will be a mixture of moods between deep, electro, funk, ambient, rock, breaks, drum & bass, trance and progressive.       About The DJ Sessions - “The DJ Sessions” is a Twitch/Mixcloud "Featured Partner” live streaming/podcast series featuring electronic music DJ's/Producers via live mixes/interviews and streamed/distributed to a global audience. An uncompromising passion for a contemporary, cutting edge sound is what Cid Inc brings to electronic music. Swedish producer Henri aka Cid Inc began his journey into music production in the early 1990s. Based in his home of Sweden, and soon after relocating to Finland, Cid Inc always had an affinity for cutting edge electronics. It’s an enthusiasm that ultimately led him to electronic dance music - and more specifically, house and techno. Henri always aimed for an innovative approach to his studio work and it was that very trait that led to the birth of Mashtronic in 2004. But, it was the formation of Cid Inc in 2008 which really saw his career go into overdrive, a moniker which has seen him release on the world’s best labels, which includes Anjunadeep, Lost & Found, microCastle, Natura Sonoris and, Sudbeat. Not only is his production skill respected, but, his skills as a mastering engineer is sought after by some of the most widely regarded producers, such as Christian Smith, Pig&Dan, Guy J, and Herman Cattaneo. In 2018 the producer had several Beatport charts success which saw him play worldwide, and in April it will be Australia’s turn for another visit when he returns exclusively for the highly anticipated Enchanted Gardens Party in Melbourne alongside D-Nox, Einmusik, and past Balance Selections compiler, Quivver. Featuring tracks from Wehhba, Eagles & Butterflies, Sasha & Kolsch, you know Cid Inc’s Balance Selections mix will be essential listening... As aDJ I try to transfer and receive thatform of energy from and to the peopleon the dance floor - mixing minimaltechno tracks with electro house floorfillers. For the rough cases I alwayscarry progressive and electro tracksin my DJ bag.”Alexander Madness (AM) discovered daylight in 1978 in Koper, Slovenia. Already his mother knew that music is going to be one of his main interests: As a kid he always liked to stand in front of roaring speakers. Before diving into the universe of electronic music,Alexander was listening to rock, pop and all the other genres that are usually popular among the youth.”I first got to feel the magic of electronic music in 1996, when sounds of fast hardcore hit my ears. Because that kind of music was rare at that time, I soon switched to slower rhythms of chemical progressive.”In 1998, AM first stepped behind the decks and immediately felt the connection – and it’s still lasting. Like any other DJ he realized that the beginnings were not easy. His first gigs were played at local bars and private parties, but his technique evolved within years, as did his passion for the music. In the past years he was switching from one e-genre to another until he really got into techno, which he still prefers. He plays mostly minimal/techno and electro/house but in his DJ case you’ll also find progressive and electro tracks. He has been playing in all the major and recognized clubs, such as Ambasada Gavioli, Lipa, SubSub, K4,The Temple, Fun Academy, Oxygen, Netopir, The Club, The Cube, Playtime, Forest, Tivoli, Arcade, Culture club and many more. He participated also on Final Flash, Fetique-Boutique, Born to be Wild, The way of Freedom and Sound Of Summer events.Throughout his eight year run and after AM’s guest appearances in numerous venues in Slovenia, Croatia and Italy, AM has also shared the spotlight with some of the industries best DJ’s. Rod B. & Alvaro Garfunk bring you the Miami Underground MovementIAN F.
(Jesus Loved You)

After a decade of successful sound blending Ian F. maintains the status of one of the most fresh-sounding deejays around. Being introduced to the art of music improvisation at an early age and heavily indulging on alternative art as a teenager, he continued to nurse this passion even more after becoming a deejay. Ian F is a member of the Jesus Loved You family, co-founder of Flow Management agency and a long time resident deejay of Ambasadi Gavioli, one of the hottest super clubs in the Mediterranean. He forefronts the new generation of promising young artists that are redefining famous Slovenian techno sound and are heavily supported by artists such as Umek and Valentino Kanzyani. Currently Ian F. spends most of the off-deck time producing music and developing his Flux:ology, which combines elements of different art expressions. After a series of releases and remixes on selected labels in Europe, Asia and USA (Jesus Loved You, Advanced, Pure Substance, Traffica, Mashtronic, Decoded, Vezotonik, Dig:Atel …), he’s dedicated to spread his eclectic art of noise even further in the forthcoming months. His production was supported by artists such Umek, Valentino Kanzyani, James Zabiela, Anthony Pappa, Armin Van Buuren, D Ramirez, Misjah, Wally Lopez, Flash Brothers, Andy Moor, Andrea Ferlin, Nick Muir, Wehbba, Marko Nastic,  …= = = = = = = = = =CHALLENGES: Productions. Live Act. New expressions.Being obsessed with searching for some fresh stuff all the time, the life of producer is a constant battle for Ian F: “Currently I spend most of the off-deck time developing my own sound under the guidance of my studio guru Tomy DeClerque." Ian F’s recent production Subconscious was picked up by local Apple distributor for a TV commercial and can be heard on the MTV. Some other releases on Tested/Agent Funk, Mashtronic rec., Jesus Loved You (Valentino Kanzyani) and Traffica (Marko Nastić) are scheduled and the preliminary arrangements with some UK and Germany based labels were already struck. “Another intriguing project is Flux, for which I am joining forces with Tomy DeClerque, KayKay and Dave Morgan. Flux is a unique live act, a mixture of live music performance and electronic live act with the addition of other art expressions. It’s very alive. The structure and expression of this project varies all the time as it is under constant development. We’ve already performed in Gavioli and at one open-air party, but a lot of work still has to be put into this project.”Performing at the parties is just one side of Ian F as a musician. He indulges on combining his passion for music with other art expressions on regular basis. He's no stranger to performing at art and fashion exhibitions, poetry recitals, teaming up with pop artists and rock bands or developing soundtrack for an on-line art gallery. He even produced music and performed with a contemporary dance company at selected venues, including premiere at the 7th Annual Gala at the national theatre, which was broadcasted live on the Slovenian national television.REFERENCES: Performances. Releases. Collaborations.Ian F is established artist in the region, performing in Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Hungary, Serbia and Bosnia & Herzegovina on the regular basis. IAN F.

His poison is techno & tech-house with expressive warm harmonies and little touches of other genres. As a long running resident of some of the top clubs and events in the north Adriatic region he already performed alongside most of the top techno artists as well as the biggest names in the industry such as Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Derrick May, Tiësto, Steve Lawler, Sasha, John Digweed if we name just a few.
