Video: https://youtu.be/T_fkjqFCBeU Kardano, a music producer, DJ and label owner of Boom Boom Music. Born from Jamaican and Italian parents, he calls Vancouver B.C home. Most of Kardano's music and inspiration stems form his origins. Listening to his music, you get the hint of chill summer vibes seasoned with a bit of funky disco. Musically, a lot has changed for Kardano in the past 10 years. He has always had a love for music. At the age of 13, he started playing the guitar. Unable to read sheet music, it did not hinder or stop him from playing in a band during his elementary school years. As high school began, so did his love for a new musical escape. He and a couple of friends started a rap group. Rapping, writing and producing with other local rappers helped develop a path to a more serious musical career. After High school, he enrolled into Nimbus School Of Recording. Being mentored by big band audio engineers, it gave him a better insight in the technical side Arts. Finishing school with a Certificate of Audio Engineering, Kardano finally began his producing and DJ career on several cruises and local Vancouver bars and clubs under a different alias, Gigilianni. Ever since his DJ days, Kardano has been hard at work on producing music. Working with a local vancouver DJ, Johnny Omega, they produced a few tracks under their group name T.D.K (The Dance Knights). T.D.K also had the pleasure of remixing Home by Flash Brothers & Khushi Soni under Stoney Boy Music, a label started by fellow Grammy Nominated DJ Stone Bridge. He was given the opportunity to play at 2nd Annual Monster Cat Block Party with some friends at the Groundwork tent. Most recently, Kardano's Single, Stronger Ft. Paradise, has been featured in a compilation by HOT-Q under Label Worx. We anticipate this year to be big for Kardano with his non-stop work ethic. He has exciting upcoming personal projects in the works and collaborations with other artists. Mokka brings back what we've all been longing for in this industry: Real Prog House...that truly takes you on a journey till the last note. Also making their Nueva debut are personal progressive heroes of ours and major Anjunadeep stars: Michael Cassette.MC takes the more atmospheric downtempo Original and turns this mother out with a truly mesmerizing display of punch and an arm hair raising breakdown that brings in an anthemic almost haunting melody.We will be hammering this one out for months to come. Once again we welcome back one of our favourite producers PROFF, also no stranger to Anjunadeep as well as heading up the Label Intricate Records with fellow Russian friends. This is a busy man, so we find it amazing that he not only provides us with a gorgeous Extended Mix but also a fantastic alternate Intro Mix.Both Mixes exude that characteristic attention to detail that PROFF is known for while he creates one of the best 'Goose Bump' moment's we've had in quite a while. Closing up this amazing release is yet another debut artist for Nueva hailing from the United Kingdom, D05 makes this a release that is truly hard to pick a favourite, at least for us that is. Bringing his signature 80's cerebral sound to his Mix, D05 lulls you you along before bringing in one of the coolest breakdowns we've heard in a while. More of D05 to come on Nueva for sure!

Closing up this amazing release is yet another debut artist for Nueva hailing from the United Kingdom, D05 makes this a release that is truly hard to pick a favourite, at least for us that is. Initially playing hip-hop at house parties he later attended his first electronic dance music event, the Monster Massive Halloween music festival in 2006 and his life was forever changed that night. Having discovered the soaring melodies and driving baselines of trance music reignited his spark and love of djing and shortly after he began frequenting electronic dance music events and collecting and djing as much electronic dance music as he could. He continued to practice and hone his skills until he landed his first professional booking by age 19. Now in his early 20's Damian lives and breathes electronic dance music and the art of djing is his life's passion. Already having played alongside some of the biggest names in trance music including M.I.K.E, Stoneface & Terminal, The Space Rockerz, Norin & Rad and many more, Damian is an upcoming talent with his eclectic blend of progressive, tech, psy and trance and meticulous attention to detail in his set programming. Always a crowd favorite among the Southern California rave and club scene crowds the sky is the limit for Damian and he is definitely a name to look out for in the coming years.
