O 28º Central eSports está no ar com Felipe Felix, Daniela Rigon e Rodrigo Guerra falando tudo o que rolou na última semana no mundo do esporte eletrônico. Começando pelo Giro de Notícias, comentamos a nova série de Dan Harmon, criador da animação "Rick and Morty" e a série humorística "Community", que terá como tema o universo dos esportes eletrônicos. Falamos também sobre a multa que os jogadores de League of Legends da América Latina Norte receberam por mau comportamento nos servidores norte-americanos e, no mini Momento Clutch, sobre o lançamento do videoclipe de Léo Stronda inspirado em 'Counter-Strike' com a participação de famosos jogadores brasileiros do competitivo. Saindo da rotina, o programa traz a primeira edição do Foca o Ancião para contar o que rolou na Fase de Grupos do International 7 de DOTA 2 e algumas apostas sobre quem vai para as semifinais do torneio que está valendo mais de US$ 24 milhões. E para não perder o costume, discutimos a Série de Promoção do CBLoL, que decidiu as últimas equipes que continuarão no campeonato em 2018. Nos confrontos, Keyd Stars e CNB venceram com facilidade os times do Desafiante, Iron Hawks e Operation Kino, e escaparam do rebaixamento. O CBLoL volta a ter uma pausa até as semifinais, que acontecem apenas em 19 e 20 de agosto.

Nesta 27ª edição, Felipe Felix, Daniela Rigon e Roque Marques vão de DOTA 2 e FIFA 17 a Rainbow 6, Counter-Strike e League of Legends. O Giro de Notícias começa com mais um recorde do International 7 de DOTA 2, que agora premiará pelo menos US$ 10 milhões apenas ao grande campeão do torneio. Esta será a primeira vez que uma competição de esporte eletrônico pagará um valor de oito dígitos ao primeiro lugar. Passando para FIFA 17, a notícia é triste: Wendell Lira ficará de fora das classificatórias do torneio mais importante do jogo por problemas em sua agenda. Já em Rainbow 6, a grande final da segunda temporada da Pro League, que foi transmitida nos canais ESPN, terminou com a vitória da Fontt sobre a BRK, mas ambas as equipes estarão nas finais disputadas no fim de agosto na Gamescom, Alemanha. No Momento Clutch mais comprido de todos os tempos, não poderíamos falar de outra coisa se não o Encontro das Lendas - evento que movimentou o cenário de Counter-Strike brasileiro durante o último final de semana. Nosso redator Roque, que esteve presente em todos os dias do evento, chega ao microfone para contar tudo o que rolou por lá - do campeonato aos showmatchs, das entrevistas aos autógrafos. Ainda colocamos algumas entrevistas legais com Marcelo "coldzera" David, da SK Gaming, e de Vito "kNg" Giuseppe, da Immortals, feitas durante o evento. Por último, o Foca o Nexus traz o resultado da grande final do Circuito Desafiante, que colocou a KaBuM de volta à elite do League of Legends brasileiro. No rematch, filosofamos sobre as disputas que ainda não estavam confirmadas para a Série de Promoção, que terão Keyd e CNB brigando por sua permanência no CBLoL contra Ironhawks e Operation Kino.

A Luminosity, por sua vez, chega em quarto lugar com 21 pontos. A Immortals chega em sexto lugar com 18 pontos. REMATCH DO CLUTH Os brasileiros voltam na Pro League a partir da quinta-feira, dia 23. A primeira partida será Luminosity contra a Winterfox às 21h, com SK encarando a Misfits às 22:10 na sequência. Também nesse horário, teremos o segundo mapa da Luminosity contra a Winterfox. E às 23:20 vai rolar Immortals contra a NRG, que terá o segundo mapa sendo transmitido na sequência, meia-noite e meia. FOCA NO NEXUS Nesse fim de semana rolou a Série de Promoção do CBLoL, uma disputa onde o 2º e o 3º colocados do Circuito Desafiante enfrentam o 6º e o 7º colocados do CBLoL valendo duas vagas para a segunda etapa do CBLoL. No sábado (18), rolou o confronto entre Operation Kino, que ficou em 6º lugar no CBLoL, contra a INTZ Genesis, 2º no Desafiante. Na disputa, a vaga ficou para a Genesis após cinco partidas emocionantes. A Genesis ganhou os dois primeiros jogos, mas sem muita dominância, se garantindo apenas nos erros da OPK. A Kino conseguiu empatar a série, mas escorreu na partida decisiva e, com isso, perdeu sua vaga no torneio principal de League of Legends. Na partida de domingo (19) vimos a KaBuM, uma das equipes mais tradicionais do CBLoL, cair para o Circuito Desafiante. Enfrentando a ProGaming, o time teve momentos de brilho, mas a equipe não conseguiu aproveitar os poucos momentos de vantagem. A ProGaming, que é formada com 4 jogadores que já apareceram no CBLoL anteriormente, levou a série por 3 jogos a 2 e volta ao principal campeonato de LoL no país. A KaBuM, que já foi para o Mundial de 2014, passou por diversas dificuldades nessa temporada e vai para o Circuito Desafiante com um gostinho amargo. REMATCH Nas semifinais do CBLoL, veremos os confrontos entre INTZ e Keyd Stars no sábado (25), às 13, e Red Canids contra a paiN Gaming no domingo (26), também a partir das 13h.
