Relics, in the original sense of the term, are things treasured for their association with a saint or martyr—that is, objects saints and martyrs left behind. Relinquere also gives English its name for the containers or shrines which hold relics, reliquary.

After getting grossed out by witnessing open heart surgery in 4th grade, David Ehrlich wanted nothing to do with medicine. So it's somewhat ironic that he became CEO of Aktana, an intelligent customer engagement company serving the healthcare industry.

David Ehrlich is best known as the founder of Tmol Shilshom, a bookstore café in the heart of Jerusalem that has long been a popular gathering place for writers and artists. It’s named after the novel by S. Y. Agnon and has hosted readings by the leading lights of Israeli literature, from Yehuda Amichai to David Grossman, as well as renowned writers from abroad.
