The letter of Romans strengthened the ancient church, brought reformation to the dark ages, has brought hope for 2000 years, and can change your life! This is a special four part series that spans the year of 2025. In Romans, Paul has been teaching us about the unity of the Body of Christ—not as uniformity, but as a recognition of our God-given differences, which can span everything from political affiliation to personal preferences. In chapter 16, Paul takes an interesting turn and reminds us that unity is never completely free of conflict. We often assume that peace means the absence of conflict, or that unity means we never disagree. But true unity takes work—pressing through conflict and handling it in the right way.Let's listen in…LINKS + RESOURCES FROM THIS EPISODE:• Recommended reading for this series• Amanda Ripley's book “High Conflict: Why We Get Trapped and How We Get Out”• Download the free study guide, complete transcript, and show notes here.• Scripture References: Romans 16, verses 17-23; Titus 3, verse 10; Matthew 10, verse 16• Find out more about Covenant Church at covenantexperience.com

OUR MISSION Building a community to reach a community so that together we share in the love and freedom of Jesus OUR VISION Multiplying the gospel's reach in our community, region, and world. OUR VALUES Missional: The world is not commanded to come to church, we are to be Christ's ambassadors where we live, work, and play. Relevant: With grace and in love, we point people to the Bible, giving straight answers to life's most pressing questions. Accessible: We strive to remove every difficulty or excuse that might keep people from Christ. Relational: We want to be a place where people know and are known. Transformational: We seek change that is a by-product of the gospel, change that alters every aspect of life. ALL IN We've celebrated what God has done and shared and where He's leading us next. As we refocus on reaching our community, region, and world with the gospel, we invite you to go ALL IN through prayer, serving, giving, and inviting. Prayer: Where do I sense God stirring my heart to pray for our community? Who in my neighborhood, school, or workplace needs to be covered in prayer? How can I make prayer for Covenant's vision a regular part of my week? Serve: Where could my gifts and passions align with reaching our local community? Who could I invite to serve alongside me? Does one of these initiatives resonate? Give: How can my generosity help multiply the gospel's reach? What does all in giving look like for me in this next season? Invite: Who is God placing on my heart to invite to church, a group, or a community event? How can I be more intentional about my relationships at work, in the community, school, sports, etc.? __________ If you're new let us know & visit https://www.covenantdoylestown.org to learn more about us and how you can get connected. In a lot of ways, Genesis 37 begins the transition to end of the book. After Joseph is favored by his father and tells his brothers of his dreams, envy grows in their hearts until ultimately, they get rid of him. Yet, Joseph's story isn't over, there is a lot more to come. We hope this message blesses you in the Lord. Originally September 7th, 2025. Hank Atchison. Covenant Church. Tuscaloosa, AL.

Genesis 35 and 36 pick up with Israel and his family. Throughout the text we see deaths, a defiling, and a affirmation of the covenant. Regardless of man's ability to be faithful, God always is. The letter of Romans strengthened the ancient church, brought reformation to the dark ages, has brought hope for 2000 years, and can change your life! This week Pastor Joel continues Part 2 of his message series in Romans, “Bold Faith That Wins”. What is the price of unbelief? We're afraid of failure because we've been baptized in a culture of success. Especially when it comes to sharing our faith with others. But Pastor Joel reminds us that even though we are commanded to share the good news about Jesus, sometimes there is a level of unbelief that only a miracle of God is can reverse. You should take some relief from that! What else does Paul say about unbelief, let's listen in…This is a special four part series that will span the year of 2025. There isn't a good character in Genesis 34- Jacob at best is a passive father, and his sons, in pursuit of justice, dispense injustice. At this point, Israel (the nation) doesn't exist and there has been no giving of the law. What we see is a story of man's wickedness and their need for Jesus. We hope this sermon blesses you in the Lord. Originally August 24th, 2025. Hank Atchison. Covenant Church. Tuscaloosa, AL.
