Chip Kohser, Seth Hall and Chris Powell make post election predictions, shed some optimism and talk about this once in a lifetime opportunity that we as hunters have to solidify our future as hunters. The only question that remains; are you willing to pay the price?America has given Donald Trump a mandate through an historical election victory. One of the issues that helped him regain control of the White House was cutting bureaucracy and eliminating the deep state with its out of control spending of public funds. With the White House and both houses going to the same conservative party, Republican Voters are hoping for an easy path to restoration of American Freedom. As hunters we are feeling a true jubilation for security and freedom for gun ownership and a reversal from pro animal rights extremism. However, What does this really mean? Are we prepared to face a world with less government services. What about the care and service of our forest service roads, access to the wild spaces we love to hunt, or the management of wildlife? ►Get Your Houndsman XP Info, Gear & More Here!www.HoundsmanXP.com►Become a Patron of Houndsman XP! Seth raves about Humio's smooth search navigation, and he explains how Humio dashboards are a huge boon to people in SecOps because they provide a powerful, reliable, and customizable way to quickly look for unusual activity. “Dashboards are interesting from a hunting perspective because you can create a bunch of threads that give you a place to start your search. I look at it like having a bunch of threads hanging from the ceiling that give you an idea of top-performing parts of your system.” We explore Corelight's advanced features including its ability to infer if any suspicious activity is occurring in SSH connections. Seth warns about the importance of not missing any traffic on your system, both looking at it as it's happening and storing logs of what has happened in your system so you can go back and explore what went wrong.
Healing Family Dynamics Through Healthy and Effective Communication Show Guests: Rachel Kove and Seth Hall Rachel Kove and Seth Hall join us to discuss how the life coaches at Transformational Solutions help coach their clients on how to have effective communication skills. How unhealthy relationship dynamics can turn into shame, which is at the root of many addictions. If individuals can learn to actively listen in order to understand one another, rather than listen just to respond, a healthy dynamic can be restored. People need to feel seen and heard in their exchanges with one another. How this takes place is when one feels validated, valued, and safe to express themselves. Feeling safe to communicate is essential for someone to openly and honestly share their thoughts and feelings. How one can effectively do this is what will be discussed during the interview.

Sometimes the obvious answer is the right one for those who are struggling with conquering drug and alcohol addiction Show Guests: Rachel Kove & Seth Hall A recent article published in the Washington Post states, “many addiction treatment centers do not follow up with their patients, the ‘100 percent’ success rate some cite only applies to those who complete the length of their stay. When we weight in on the relapse rates that are currently estimated to be as high as 80% and then consider of the many thousands of dollars spent by families and provided government by supported programs such as: rehab facilities, group therapy, wilderness programs, etc., we are left asking the a most obvious question: If these programs are not working long-term, are there options that are effective? Home Care Recovery Solutions co-founders, Rachel Kove and Seth Hall, share their individual experiences as alcohol and heroin addicts, respectively, and the many relapses they endured after traditional treatments, as well as the the process that finally propelled each of them into the field of sustainable recovery. According to Kove, “Sometimes the obvious answer is the right one. The model we found that provides a lasting difference is actually coming to a client’s home to create one of the most critical elements to recovery – a one-on-one support system that builds a bridge back into a functioning, purpose driven life with meaning. At a time when addictions are rising to epidemic levels, we are finding this methodology just as applicable to mental health issues and other forms of addiction, as it is to drugs and alcohol.”
