Til In The Name Of Hip Hop kunne publikum opleve en af landets bedste og dygtigste dj's. Siden starten af halvfemserne har @kclmusic været en vigtig del af den danske Hip Hop kultur, som koncert arrangør bag legendariske events som De 8 Bedste og Zumme Jam og for nyligt sparkede hun gang i et nyt event som hedder Back To The Stonestreet. Det foregik på Stengade hvor hun startede det hele tilbage i 1996 med det første Stengade Hip Hop Jam. Som DJ vandt KCL DM i Mix i 2013 og har siden spillet i det meste af Europa. Før hun sprang ud som dj, var hun rapper og en del af gruppen Insekterne som deltog i DM i Rap i 1996. Alt i alt er KCL så dejlig Hip Hop som man kan være, og vi tog chancen for at suge til os fra en af de mest erfarne i branchen, så vi fik en sludder med KCL inden at hun skulle på scenen til In The Name Of Hip Hop, og cutte pladerne op for Sicknature. Kriswontwo udgav sidste år sit andet fuldlængde producer album Back To One. Det første fuldlængde producer album Ceromoni udkom i 2015 og var spækket med fede featurings og det er samme billede på det nye album. Kriswontwo's producerstil bære præg af hans forkærlighed for soul og jazz, hvilket gør hans beats og produktioner ekstremt melodiske. Han formår at skabe en international lyd som ofte appellere til amerikanske kunstnere, og nogen af de fineste mc's har rappet over Kriswontwo beats. På Back To One finder man prominente gæster som Sadat X, Prince Po, Artifacts, Phat Kat og mange flere. På tracket Flawless har Kriswontwo den sidst nævnte rapper Phat Kat med, og det fik et fornemt spin på det amerikanske radio show The Pharmacy, som blir hostet af ingen mindre end Dr.Dre. Vi fik en sludder med Kriswontwo om Back To One albummet, tidligere udgivelser og meget mere. I denne omgang af Run For Cover Cast har vi haft besøg af EP-aktuelle Sicknature, der fortæller om alt fra produktion på sin gamle Atari og jams i 90'erne til at turnere med og producere for nogle af de helt store internationale rappere og at være en del af Snowgoons. Vi er tilbage og er klar med årets første program. Her bringer vi et interview med rapperen / produceren Sicknature som er hovednavn til første udgave af vores event In The Name Of Hip Hop. Sicknature er Danmarks største rap navn udenfor Danmark, han turnere rundt i det meste verden som en del af producer teamet Snowgoons. Som solo artist er han kendt for sine produktioner til store rap artister som : Vinnie Paz, Ill Bill, M.O.P., La Coka Nostra, Onyx, Slaine, Canibus og mange flere. Han har i mange år været anderkendt i branchen som en af de mest eftertragtede producere når det gælder hardcore hiphop. Som rapper har han ligeledes arbejdet sammen med nogen af branchens største navne, når han leverer sine punchlines og tekster der ofte indeholder politiske holdninger og personlige historier. Det kan man blandt andet høre på hans solo udgivelser Honey Im Home fra 2007 og Nature Of The Contaminated fra 2013. I november 2017 landede Sicknatures nye solo EP Copenhagen Kaiju, på den cementere han sig som en af de absolut bedste til både at producere og rappe. Til de bangeren og episk fede beats på ep'en tilføre han catchy hooks og grov lyrik med sin velkendte stemme. På Copenhagen Kaiju finder man også featurings fra de danske mc'er Manus Bell, Mr. Malchau og Face. Vi holder jubilæum i denne uge, og det bliver fejret med et interview med den legendariske Lron Harald. Vi var en tur i SønderBronx og fik en snak med ham om gamle dage da Porno Gangsteren lagde landet ned. Hvordan husker han tilbage på de år hvor det hele eksploderede, og hvad laver han idag. Sidste år udgav run for cover Lron's kult kassettebånd Grethes Tits på LP i en limited edition i 300 eksemplar, som blev revet væk. Han er samtidig en anderkendt grafitti kunstner og har dyrket kunstformen siden starten af 80'erne. Han har lavet flere store mesterværker, tidligere på året lavede Lron et maleri af Rakim, bestilt af den danske rapper Al Agami, og det fik anderkendelse fra den store amerikanske rap legende selv, da han gav thumbs up på facebook.
