Wir erleben ihn wieder als sehr nahbaren Charakter, ein junger Mann, der sich vor lauter Liebeskummer kopfüber in die Superheldenarbeit wirft, bis ihn der Stress in die Knie zwingt. Da ist genau die Coming-of-Age-Melancholie zu spüren, die Spider-Man schon in den Comics zum interessantesten Superhelden gemacht hat. Mit ihm konnten wir uns als junge Leser identifizieren. Und niemand konnte das bislang so gut verkörpern wie Tom Holland.In SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY schwingt ein düsterer Ton mit – von Trauer um die Mutterfigur May, Trauer um die verlorene große Liebe, Trauer um den verlorenen besten Freund und Angst die Kontrolle zu verlieren und die eigenen Werte preiszugeben. Die Gegenspielerin erweist sich ebenfalls als verzweifelter Charakter: Sadie Sink, die mit STRANGER THINGS berühmt wurde, steigt hier in das Marvel Cinematic Universe ein und ich fresse einen Besen, wenn sie nicht in kommenden Filmen noch eine große Rolle spielen wird. Ihr Auftritt hier ist auf jeden Fall sehr beeindruckend und erinnert stark an den unterschätzten Film FALLEN (1998) mit Denzel Washington.Im Podcast direkt nach dem Kino kommen acht verschiedene Stimmen und Meinungen zu Wort – vom Wunsch in dieser Welt von Spider-Man zu bleiben und einfach im Kino gleich sein nächstes Abenteuer anzuschauen, über den Wunsch nach weniger vorhersehbaren Geschichten bis hin zur Enttäuschung über einzelne Nebendarsteller ist alles dabei. Aber die Runde ist sich einig: SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY ist visuell sehr gelungen und sehr unterhaltsam. Das Kino auf jeden Fall war an einem Werktag ausverkauft und Applaus gab es auch. Beim My Chemical Romance Konzert erlebt Basti nämlich auch die Renaissance der Emos und lässt sich spontan ein neues Tattoo stechen. Mitten auf die Brust. Während Basti im Drei-Länder-Eck tourt, sitzt anredo im Drei-Ventilatoren-Eck. Bei offener Wohnungstür schwitzt er halbnackt auf der Couch und kassiert irritierte Blicke aus dem Treppenhaus. In Mainz spielt dagegen die Smart-Home-Beleuchtung der AI-Wohnung aus der Ferne völlig verrückt. Das nächtliche Licht bringt Bastis Nachbarin um den Schlaf und niemand weiß, wer die Technik noch kontrollieren kann. Harald discusses the various oddities of the Swedish consultant and software market, both before but especially in the current environment. Consultants don't cost what you expect them to when compared to employees, and a strange previous focus on headcount has not helped either. We then talk about the standardization process for C++ and about new things in C++ 26. Harald discusses the issues of adding new things which are good in themselves, but perhaps don't fit into a bigger picture, take a lot of focus and energy which in turn means many other things do not get considered which may be smaller and more widely and immediately useful. Also: once something is in the standard library, it's eternal. And there is still no real ecosystem around C++. Infrastructure is a hard thing. And Rust is out there. Finally, we talk about Harald's experience of running the Swedencpp meetup for ten years. What does it mean to run something for so long? They plan to be QRV from Tarija May 26 to June 6, including the CQ WW WPX CW weekend. The rest of the time they will do SSB, CW and FT8, 160-6M and EME on 144 and 432 MHz. QSL direct to LU1FM and Club Log OQRS too. PJ4 – Bonaire - WA7RAR, Chris, as PJ4CB will be there again May 27 to June 8, SSB and CW, 20-10M and from POTAsites on the island.  4K – Azerbaijan - The first ever POTA activation from Absheron National Park, AZ-0004 is May 28. The 4K0T“DXpedition and Contest Team” is going, joined by the ARAS, the Azerbaijan Radio Amateurs Society. They say the park is remarkable, on the Caspian Sea. It is grid LN50eg. They plan HF SSB and will have live updates, photos, logs and QSL info as things unfold.

Was für ein Glück, in diesem Podcast immer wieder die interessantesten und charismatischsten Personen empfangen zu dürfen, zu denen Harald Krassnitzer zweifellos zählt. Der 1960 nahe Salzburg geborene Schauspieler reüssierte auf verschiedenen Theaterbühnen, große, überregionale Bekanntheit (vielleicht würde man auch sagen einen Durchbruch) mit Mitte 30 als Bergdoktor, später als Winzerkönig, seit 1999 Wiener Tatortkommissar an der Seite der wunderbaren Adele Neuhauser, die hier übrigens auch schon zu Gast war, die Episode lässt sich, wie über 200 andere auch, jederzeit anhören. Krassnitzers Kino- und Fernsehfilmcharaktere freuen sich, von ihm gespielt zu werden, ob sie lustig sind, verschroben oder streng. Blayne Alexander sits down with Andrea Canning to discuss her latest episode, “The Gorge,” about the 2019 disappearance of Alice Ku, a private tutor from California, and her family's desperate search to find her.  With the help of Andrew Watters, a civil attorney with investigative experience, Alice's siblings soon learn she had been keeping a secret: she had married a man named Harald Herchen. Harald claims he last saw his wife while on a trip to Taiwan, when he dropped her off at a train station. The family doesn't believe him, and after retracing Alice's steps, they become convinced Harald killed her in Taiwan's Taroko National Park. Harald denies any wrongdoing, but after the family files a wrongful death lawsuit, a civil jury finds him liable for Alice's death.  Andrea shares a podcast-exclusive clip with attorney Watters. She also tells Blayne about getting caught in an earthquake in Taiwan, as well as the challenges of filming in the mountains of Taroko National Park, which included fleeing an aggressively hungry group of monkeys that tried to steal the team's lunch.
