Assam Irrigation Department set to sell Solar Power! - The State Irrigation Department hopes to export surplus power to the APDCL (Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd) when it will complete the first phase of PMKSY- HKKP (Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana- Har Khet Ko Pani). The Department hopes to complete the yojana's phase-I within May-June, 2020. 2. Coronavirus: Sarbananda Sonowal constituted economic advisory panel - Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, on Sunday, constituted an economic advisory committee as a measure to revive the economy of the State and break the stagnation brought by coronavirus pandemic. The eight-member committee led by retired IAS officer Subhash Das would study the various aspects of the State's economy and provide recommendations to bring back economic buoyancy through systematic interventions. 3. Public shouldn't be tortured in the garb of lockdown: Gauhati High Court - A division bench of the Gauhati High Court comprising Chief Justice Ajai Lamba and Justice Soumitra Saikia has disposed of a PIL (25/2020) filed against alleged police atrocities on people during the lockdown in the State, with a considered view and observation. Hearing the petitioner as well as the respondents, the bench said, "With the considered view that in the garb of such lockdown, surely innocent public should not be subjected to torture or inhuman treatment, particularly because at this point in time, the innocent citizens/ordinary persons are highly sensitive and emotionally volatile. Such conditions surely cannot be aggravated by inhuman treatment given by the public servants. 4. ICC organized Webinar on impact of coronavirus on textile industry - The Indian Chamber of Commerce organized a webinar on "The Impact of Corona Virus Outbreak on Handloom and Handicrafts of North East India and its revival strategy'', here on Saturday. 5. MGNREGA works resumed amidst lockdown - Assam Panchayat and Rural Development (P&RD) Department has started to work under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA). 6. NDRF, Guwahati conducts sanitization drive at Kamakhya Temple - The personnel of 1st Battalion NDRF Guwahati under the supervision of Commandant Randhir Singh Gill carried out a sanitization drive on the premises of the Kamakhaya Temple, on Sunday. The teams sprayed out disinfectant consisting of Sodium Hypochlorite. Meanwhile, the NDRF medical team carried out thermal screening and distributed masks to needy people on the temple's premises. 7. Assam Police collected over Rs 1.7 crore fine during lockdown - The Assam Police on Sunday informed that it has arrested 3,823 people and collected Rs. 1,72,97,100 as fine across the State in the last 40 days for violating the lockdown norms. 8. Release ‘Declared Foreigners' in 7 days, Gauhati High Court to Assam Police - In view of the new coronavirus outbreak the Gauhati High Court has asked the Border wing of the Assam Police to release on bail within seven days those ‘Declared Foreigners' who have completed two years in detention camps, to comply with the apex Court's order, officials said on Thursday. 2. Corona positive cases rise to 34 in Assam; 32 of 34 cases have Nizamuddin links - With the detection of two more corona positive cases in Morigaon district, the tally of COVID-19 cases has risen to 34 in Assam. While 32 of the corona positive cases have direct or indirect links with the Nizamuddin returnees to the State, one of the other two cases has a travel history to Saudi Arabia and the remaining one is a resident of Spanish Garden in Guwahati. 3. NDRF rescuers sprayed out disinfectant consisting of Sodium Hypochlorite in Airport terminal area, checking points and domestic air cargo of LGBI Airport, Guwahati. 8. Gauhati University withdraws summer vacation to compensate the loss of classes - In view of the nationwide Coronavirus lockdown, Gauhati University has revamped its academic schedule by withdrawing the summer vacation that falls in July so as to compensate the loss of classes due to the pandemic. This revamp in the academic schedule is meant for all departments of the university and colleges/institutions affiliated under it. 9. No-entry to Airport without a mask, says Airport Authority of India, NER - In view of the outbreak of new Coronavirus the Airport Authority of India, North-East Region has taken an initiative that no one without mask enters the airport premises. The authority will ensure that each and every person who enters the airport premises and the airport colony wears a mask.

 I'm going to share my perspective or my view of basically emerging pathogens that can happen anytime and when we look back through history, every couple of years something new that pops up. There's always something that's coming up and causing problems and COVID-19 is causing worldwide problems we are trying to stop the spread by implementing coronavirus emergency response plans.Basically want to do is just make it as simple as possible for my technicians that's all I'm going to do is give you my perspective and what I'm sharing with my carpet cleaning my water restoration technicians. I want to make a simple practical and easy to understand so you can relate to your employees what I've learned. Any information that I have it's not complete whatsoever, however, it is what I've learned and it what i teach my employees. I want to let people know I'm licensed with the EPA and the state of agriculture to apply pesticides in the state of Virginia so I can go out and apply pesticides inside the customer's home as a professional and get paid for it. But if you're not a registered applicator in your state or register with the state of agriculture or the EPA you cannot apply it as a service if you do it's a ten thousand dollar fine. However, a customer can take and buy the product and put it in their own home so there is an exemption so notice different products and the EPA registered numbers on every product that is registered with the EPA when it comes to pesticides. This is especially important to keep i mind when developing many types of disaster preparedness plans that include virus disinfection. Our number one point I'm gonna break this down out of the three simple points is the label is the law.Every time we get recertified every year they come through there and they recertify with the EPA and the number one they drive into our heads is the label is the law. If you don't follow the directions on the label then you could be fined. The number two point is to make no kill claims. Why do I say that well this is a novel coronavirus pathogen is brand new and yes some bottles might say it kills Coronavirus but it's not the same pathogen. The COVID-19 is a different strain so you can't make any claims so be careful with your wording and make no kill claims.Number three is what I tell my coronavirus cleaning technicians is to go in there say it's a disinfectant because we're going to clean the carpets and then spray disinfectant down which is a ready to use product. I teach my technician's not to say it's going to be used as a sanitizer because more likely you cannot sanitize the whole property and that's not your job.
