“Prefiero un libro escrito por un humano y no por una IA” pero si te has leído un libro que se ha publicado en los últimos 3 años ya ha sido escrito con IA y ni te has dado cuenta.“Prefiero un podcast hablado por un humano” pero ya has escuchado podcasts creados con IA y ni te has dado cuenta.“Prefiero películas creadas por humanos” pero te has visto Avatar 1 y 2 y muchas de Dibujos en los que no sale un solo humano y que han sido creados con ayuda de la IA y ahí no te has quejado de que no salgan humanos o que estén hechos por ordenador.La realidad es que si piensas eso es porque eres gilipollas.Sencillamente eres mediocre y tienes miedo a que una IA te quite el trabajo. Básicamente eres un vago y no quieres adaptarte a los cambios.Estás acomodado haciendo lo mismo de siempre y vas a dejar pasar la oportunidad.Pero te entiendo. La mayoría de la gente es como tú. El ser humano es así. Pero hay otro grupo de personas que vivimos estos avances con entusiasmo y vemos un mundo lleno de oportunidades.Seguramente también nos quedemos sin trabajo porque las máquinas con IA lo harán todo, pero seremos de los últimos. Y en caso habremos creado negocios automatizados con los que las máquinas trabajarán para nosotros antes de que las IAs nos esclavicen. En cualquier caso, el 1% haremos todo lo posible por aprovechar las oportunidades. Nos clonaremos con IA. Automatizaremos tareas y alucinaremos con el resultado. Seguiremos actualizando y mejorando para que nosotros mismos nos aprovechemos de eso que creamos mejorando lo que conseguimos.Pero habrá otras personas que se bajarán de todo esto. Que lo rechazarán y perderán la oportunidad. Como hicieron en su día las personas con la revolución industrial diciendo que hecho a mano era mejor que por una máquina. O esas personas que decían que los libros escritos a mano eran mejores tras salir la imprenta. O esas que decían que las espadas eran mejores que las escopetas en las guerras. Todos ellos perdieron. Los que se adaptaron y aprovecharon el avance ganaron. Deja de creer que lo humano es mejor. Los humanos somos mediocres. Solo tienes que ver a los políticos que elige la gente cada cuatro años. Deja de querer ser único y especial. Deja de creer que el humano es el mejor. Deja de creerte un Dios. Las máquinas son mejores y podemos unirnos a ellas. El gran problema de los humanos es que se creen especiales, elegidos y únicos. Queremos ser diferentes y nos consideramos mejores. Y lo único que nos diferencia de las máquinas y de los animales es nuestro ego. Ese ego que nos hace creer que saber construir edificios de 100 plantas nos hace más listos y mejores que un pájaro que sabe volar (tú no puedes volar) o que un pez que puede respirar bajo el agua (tú tampoco puedes respirar bajo el agua) o que una IA que escribe mejor que tú. Cada capacidad de un animal, una máquina o un humano es simplemente eso. Y no te hace mejor saber construir carreteras o saber quemar bosques y acabar con un ecosistema entero.Lo que es inteligente es aprovechar el momento que estamos viviendo y apreciar todos los avances que estamos experimentando. Así que recuerda: lo humano no es mejor. On September 24, Ladakh witnessed unprecedented violence and protests which left four persons dead in police action. Two days later, climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, who was sitting on a hunger strike with 15 others, was detained under the National Security Act (NSA) and taken to Jodhpur Central Jail in Rajasthan. The government accused the activist of instigating the violence, a charge denied by Wangchuk. A year after it was turned into a Union Territory in 2019, the region, with a population of around three lakh, has been protesting for constitutional safeguards, the two major demands being statehood and tribal status under the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution. The government is engaged in talks with two civil society groups, the Leh Apex Body and the Kargil Democratic Alliance, representing the Leh and Kargil regions, respectively, for the past three years. The talks led to few outcomes regarding policies on reservation and domicile status, but this was not acceptable to the groups as the two core demands remained unmet. Should Ladakh get statehood? Multiple bailout packages and reform schemes have moved the needle of improvement only so much. So what will it take to revive the discoms and fix the forever leaking pipe? To understand this and the transformation that the distribution sector is undergoing, we talked with Alok Kumar. Kumar was former secretary, union ministry of power. Traditionally, the Indian civil services have been a male bastion. Back in the 1950s, when the first woman IAS officer was appointed, a woman could be disqualified from service for getting married. Seven decades later, 1 out of 5 secretaries serving in the Government of India is a woman. From corporate to economic affairs, health to legal affairs--women officers are at the helm in several central ministries. At the level of recruitment, in the last few years, 27-30 percent of those who qualify for the civil services have been women.
