Alternatively refers to highly-skilled professionals in high-demand fields such as doctors, lawyers, engineers, pilots, and scientists.[14]” “A pink-collar worker is also a member of the working class who performs in the service industry. They work in positions such as waiters, retail clerks, salespersons, certain unlicensed assistive personnel, and many other positions involving relations with people. The term was coined in the late 1970s as a phrase to describe jobs that were typically held by women; now the meaning has changed to encompass all service jobs.[5][6][7]” “A blue-collar worker is a member of the working class who performs manual labor and either earns an hourly wage or is paid piece rate for the amount of work done. This term was first used in 1924.[4]” “The term "white-collar worker" was coined in the 1930s by Upton Sinclair, an American writer who referenced the word in connection to clerical, administrative and managerial functions during the 1930s.[2] A white-collar worker is a salaried professional,[3] typically referring to general office workers and management.” -Wikipedia. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/antonio-myers4/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/antonio-myers4/support

This week we interviewed Mike Holloway, winner of Survivor Worlds Apart. . Mike started off strong on a winning tribe, but his social game was lacking and he eventually found himself on the outside with no one to turn to for help. With his back against the wall, he won immunity after immunity challenge, played hidden idols and forced the majority alliance to tear themselves apart as he plowed his way to the end. It was epic to watch and against all odds he emerged victorious! Listen to this interview to hear about where he struggled the most during the final tribal council, how his mother showed him another way to think about the game and his competitors during the family visit, why he was sure he had won after the votes were cast and more! This week we interviewed Sierra Dawn Thomas and Rodney Lavoie Jr. They left the game in fifth and fourth place during the finale of Survivor Worlds Apart. Sierra teased us with the possibility of making big moves to better her position in the game many times, only to take the road most traveled by again and again, eventually fading into the background. Rodney's sense of entitlement and constant demands to be recognized and valued ensured that the spotlight was frequently on him. He indeed made one of the most strategically significant moves of the season, but was undone because he was not a fan and never learned one of the most basic principles of the game. Listen to this interview to hear extra details about the final tribal council, how they felt about their edit, about being called out for being bitter by Jen and more! This week we interviewed Carolyn Rivera and Will Sims II. They tied for second place during the finale of Survivor Worlds Apart. Carolyn was lethal. Whenever she sensed a threat to her survival, she disposed of them with surgical accuracy. She also proved that age does not have to be a factor for physical challenges by winning individual immunity multiple times along with several rewards. Will's performance in challenges was underwhelming, but he did possess a knack for securing a spot in the majority alliances. Unfortunately, he will likely be most remembered for an ugly event that took place between him and Shirin. Listen to this interview to hear about the hardest final tribal council questions they faced, what really made that last immunity challenge super hard to complete, behind the scene details on the tie breaker fire maker challenge and more!
