When I met Jasmine I saw so much light and life in her eyes, so I was a bit surprised to learn of her storied past. Before Jasmine discovered love from the God of all Hope, she spent nearly 20 years running from herself. Her running didn't satisfy, and unfortunately, this path only led her to collide head-on with darkness, depression, and eventually mental hospitals when she was 33 years old. Now, 6 years later, in Jasmine's place of hope and life, she can look back and see how God used that dark valley to help her, literally, reach out her hand towards hope. Hope is a powerful tool.. and we hope that Jasmine's story reminds you that NO ONE IS TOO FAR GONE.. THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE! May I listen to YOUR story? May I capture YOUR heart? Let's connect... This week we're looking for hope in moments of hopelessness and discussing the impact that the tragic death of Cheslie Kryst has had on the pageant world, and on me personally. The suicide of former Miss USA 2019, Cheslie Kryst, was a shock and a wake up call. This week we're discussing hope and bringing awareness to the mental health issues that your friends, colleagues, and loved ones may be silently grappling with. I see an epidemic of hopelessness around me right now, and I'm here to share a simple, powerful message: THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE. Cheslie seemingly had it all: beauty, brains, and a platform to share her message with the world. But mental health and wellness issues can happen to anyone, even someone who seems to have it all. Cheslie's death is a tragic reminder that no one is immune to mental health struggles, and that we need to talk about them openly, honestly and without judgement or stigma. In this episode, Zac and I discuss the stresses that our fast paced, modern lives puts on all of us. I share my own personal ups and downs to demonstrate that there is always light at the end of the tunnel in times of hopelessness. I promise you that everything happens for the good, and if you're feeling hopeless right now, it will get better. In this episode: How to recognize and acknowledge feelings of hopelessness Finding a greater purpose after a big event like a beauty pageant Managing your life expectations whether they are good or bad How to create a mindset shift to see the light at the end of the tunnel How to let go of perfectionism How to leave a little room for magic and serendipity in your life How to be hopeful Be sure to tell a friend about LOL with Kim Gravel! Life can feel overwhelming when the choices we make catch up to us. Jeremiah 29:11 says that God wants to give us hope and a future. For many, their future feels hopeless, it feels like there is no turning back from decisions that have been made. In this episode, you will hear the testimonies of two women who have come to understand the power of God to transform their lives. Addiction felt like a prison sentence, but God puts hope within reach. Submit your testimony here: http://bit.ly/RMMTestimony Rick & Donna’s testimony is: Ep 58 – There Is Always Hope! “Prepared parents are better parents.” -Jay Gabrani Life is full of uncertainties and we do not want to be left without hope and help when these uncertainties come. Wise people do well to prepare. In this episode, Art interviews Jay Gabrani, Founder of Prepared Fathers, to expound on the subject of financial preparedness. Jay shares his heartbreaking story and how this opened his eyes to the importance of preparedness, especially when there are kids involved. Like Jay, we all face stormy days, days that seem unending and hopeless. But his story can motivate us to see our situation in a better angle. It can be just a knockdown and not a knockout, a molehill and not a mountain. But these facts can change depending on how prepared and equipped we are. If you think you’re prepared enough, tune in and see if you truly are. Good parents tell their children to prepare; better parents show them how. Stephen and Swara dig into the results of the 2016 election with guest Bobby Roberts! In the final days and hours of the elections, Star Wars references, memes and jokes abounded as Americans digested what they saw on the news. In this episode, Beltway Banthas seeks to understand why this happens and much more. This election season has been nothing short of exhausting. For some, the results of the election might be more troubling than the process that got us to this point. In this episode of Beltway Banthas, we unload all the feelings we have about the outcome and what it means, in the context of our Star Wars fandom. Star Wars teaches us about democracy, and also teaches us how to stand in the face of oppression and seemingly unsurmountable odds. THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE! Are you a rebel? What does that mean in culture, politics and Star Wars? Force Ghost Bobby Roberts joins the show to help us sort through it all. [PROGRESSIVE TRANCE] When it comes to story building, there is no better genre suited to match my style of mixing than Progressive Trance. The finished product of "There Is Always Hope" has great organic flow, and includes a good balance of moving vocal tracks, as well as uplifting grooving ones. Keeping the BPM's floating in the low to mid 130's is just the right pace to keep the flow of this set moving all the way to the end. Thanks for your support! Comments welcome. Tracklist: 1. Heaven Is Falling Down (M Cecci Remix) - Luca Lombardi 2. Piano In The Rain (Probspot Vocal Mix) - Insignia 3. Unreleased Gems Part 3 (Original Mix) - Dale Anderson & Keenan 4.
