A Dallas, Texas intersection turned into my holy ground! It was the Light cutting through fog, life breaking into death. In this episode, I share how a near-collision at Midway & Alpha became the moment God moved me from religion to relationship—and how your testimony can do the same in someone else's life. This Godcast moves from story to Scripture to Savior, showing testimony isn't self-spotlight, but God speaking through redeemed lives. Grace doesn't quiet us... it sends us. Not with tales of our Egypt, but with Exodus steps. Not eloquence, but “Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.” Not culture's noise and confusion... but with the living Word, sharp and tender. Now, GO! Testify where He placed your feet on dry ground; not the bondage you left behind, but the freedom He gave you to live in. Then invite someone to that same Deliverer. Today! God's Word: Key passages: John 9; Acts 9; 1 John 5:9–11; Revelation 12:11; plus, Genesis 1, Exodus 25, Psalm 118, Ezekiel 37, Ephesians 2 & 6, Hebrews 4 & 13, and more. You will be able to glean the rest of them from the transcript, amen?Email: walkingtheway3@gmail.com
GOD MOVES FIRST! And no one, not one, will be able to deny it!Before breath, before belief, before obedience — His love initiates, His Spirit awakens, and His workmanship forms a disciple who doesn't just learn truth but lives it. In every season — wilderness, joy, trial, abundance — His movement produces our motion: worship translated into action, fruit becoming seed, testimony turning into disciple-making. This isn't self-powered striving but Spirit-led transformation — the Vine's life flowing through branches that bear divine eternal fruit. And when His disciples “GO,” they don't go alone; they ride the current of the same divine love that parted seas, causes deliverance, and walked out of that tomb. He moves first; and we move with Him together!God's Word:Genesis 1; Genesis 2:21; Exodus 14:21; Matthew 5:45; Romans 8:28; Genesis 50:20; John 1:12–13; John 6:28–29; Colossians 1:13; Psalm 139:13; 1 John 4:19; John 3:16; John 6:44; Romans 5:8; Luke 19:10; Genesis 1:3; Genesis 2:7; Matthew 4:4; Philippians 4:6–7; 1 Peter 1:6–7; Revelation 12:11; James 1:2–4; 2 Corinthians 12:9; 2 Corinthians 9:8; Galatians 6:1; James 1:5; Colossians 3:23–24; Acts 16:25–34; Acts 8:26–39; Matthew 14:29; 1 Peter 3:15; John 9:3; 2 Corinthians 3:3; John 1:14; Jeremiah 1:5; Psalm 139:13–14; 1 John 4:8; Galatians 5:22–23; John 15:1–8; Romans 8:29; Luke 9:23; Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 5:20; Matthew 28:19; Romans 12:21; Hebrews 4:12; John 8:11; Luke 17:14; Mark 10:52; John 4:16; Mark 5:19; Luke 7:50; Matthew 9:13; Matthew 28:7; John 15:4–5; Ephesians 2:10; Philippians 1:6; 1 Thessalonians 1:5; James 1:18; 1 Corinthians 15:23; Mark 16:15 Email: walkingtheway3@gmail.com
Following on from Maradona steering Argentina to the 2010 World Cup (just), we look back at how his team got on in South Africa. Although there were some notable absentees from the World Cup squad, Maradona had a highly-talented team, with some sparkling attacking players, most notably Lionel Messi. Argentina shone at times, winning their group with a 100% record and playing some of the most stylish football of the group stages. Maradona was his usual colourful self, providing great quotes for the press. Yet, Messi's inability to get on the scoresheet, doubts about the midfield balance and doubts about the defence, would all come together in a disastrous quarter-final against Germany. The limitations of Maradona's management were brutally exposed and the attitude of Argentinian fans towards Messi would go from indifferent to outright distaste. Today's Godcast drives home the simple truth: discipleship is not about labels or self-effort—it's supernaturally empowered by the Spirit of the only true God! Without His energeia, we're like lamps with no current, vessels with no movement, instruments without sound, that's the plain ol' truth! Jesus' Spirit IS the energeia that empowers His disciples to live, witness, and bear eternal fruit—from their own “Jerusalem” to the remotest part of the earth. Our calling is to shine as living testimonies, ambassadors of Jesus, bringing the Good News where the world only knows bad news. What is your witnessing saying, and where is your witness taking them? Grace is not a concept—it is a person, Jesus Christ. In this message from our Friends with God series, we explore how Jesus pours His grace into our lives through His life, death, resurrection, power, and delight. His obedience makes us right with God. His sacrifice removes sin’s penalty. His resurrection gives us new life and confidence. His Spirit empowers us to live transformed. And His joy reminds us that we are His beloved. This grace is unearned, undeserved, and freely given. Jesus doesn’t just save us—He delights in us.
* You can get the sermon note sheet at: https://family-bible-church.org/2025Messages/25Sep14.pdf * Last week we began a study of the Book of Hebrews by considering the identity of it's Author, Audience and Theme. In this treatise, we see the presentation of "A New and Living Way" through the perfect propitiation of Jesus who eternally fulfilled the requirements of the ultimate sin sacrifice - that offered on behalf of the priest, and then the nation, on Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement). * In the book of Hebrews, the "New and Living Way" found in the New Covenant, and established by Jesus the Messiah, is declared to a primarily Jewish audience who are struggling with the trappings of the Old Covenant and false rabbinic teachings. * Today, we will consider the first of those misunderstandings, or false teachings - that Jesus the Messiah was an "Angel." God's Word is very clear that Jesus is the Son of God not an "angel." The author of the book begins by declaring WHO JESUS IS - He is the Son of God - and what that entails. He then transitions into the Biblical proof of why He is not an "angel." * As last week, we will consider the final point of our outline first in order to fully understand the Hebrew mindset before we consider the wonder of who Jesus actually is! ... SO ... WHO EXACTLY IS THE SON OF GOD? * This message was presented by Bob Corbin on September 14, 2025 at Family Bible Church in Martinez, Georgia.

In this Godcast, Jesus' question pierces the heart and reminds us that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). And His question then; still applies today! Because His authority has not changed, His Spirit still empowers, and His mission still calls. As His disciples, we are chosen, equipped, and sent to carry His disciple making workmanship forward until our final breath. His authority is firm, His Spirit unstoppable, and His workmanship in us will always bear fruit, amen? I pray you are encouraged! This Godcast takes you straight to the one foundation every disciple must build their life upon— It starts with Jesus, it ends with Jesus, and every breath in between belongs to Him—that's the plain ol' truth! Apart from Jesus, we are dead in sin, enslaved to darkness, and under wrath—but in Him we are reconciled, redeemed, and renewed! If you need encouragement today, then listen! Or, IF you know of someone that needs to hear the truth... THEN have them listen to The Truth about Jesus! What for? Because... at the end of the day, at the end of time, the only Name that matters is Jesus—and it's ALL about Him, in whom every eternal promise finds its “Yes” and “Amen,” now and forever! Amen? We gather not to serve ourselves but to serve the Lord and learn of Him. A god shaped by personal preference is an idol. True worship is never about what we want—it is about honouring the Lord the way He wants to be honoured as revealed in the scriptures.Scripture shows that only God is worthy of worship—yet Jesus received it, forgave sins, and claimed equal authority with the Father. His disciples confessed Him as God, prayed in His name, and ascribed to Him divine titles. Every witness affirms the same reality: Jesus is not just Savior—He is God.Listen to this edifying message on the diety of Christ and be blessed.

The Bible shows that there is a unity within the Godhead where the Father, the Son and the Spirit exist in perfect oneness. Jesus has always been present from eternity and Scripture affirms His divinity. He called Himself I AM and the First and the Last, titles that belong only to God.He forgave sins, gave life and declared Himself the Messiah, which the prophets had already described as Mighty God and Everlasting Father. Though He humbled Himself on earth and submitted to the Father's will, this was in function and not in essence, for He remained fully equal in nature with the Father. The consistent witness of Scripture is that Jesus is not only Saviour and Messiah but truly God the Son, exalted as Lord forever.Listen to this sermon and learn about Jesus as revealed in scriptures.

It only seems natural to marvel at what we see created by humanity in this physical realm... works that have all been orchestrated by the only true God gifts of ingenuity, imagery, and design! And as amazing as they are... they fail to compare to the only true God's phenomenal supernatural spiritual workmanship in and through flawed, depraved, evil possessing finite creatures! The life change that makes an essence that was dead COME ALIVE! And that should bring total awe, amazement, and astonishment! As the Master Potter, God shapes Their clay into useful vessels of righteousness! The living hosts of Their divine eternal essence in YOU!
