Choose your path wisely, for the thorns will cut deep and the consequences will echo far.” Their ally Quon informs them of strange things happening to his homeland and fears that perhaps it is too late. The group also finally takes the time to fill in Hoshino (and Salix) on the history of the party and what they would have missed before joining the group. While talking Zechs and Hoshino discover that Zechs' bow “Jack of All Trades” has altered. There are several attempts to discover the new features of his bow with very limited success.
