Many have heard of the two prison guards killed at USP Marion in a single day. The first murder was committed by Silverstein. The second was by Fountain, who killed a guard to keep up with the body count of his friend Silverstein.

I have been in three prison riots. This is why the government calls up the Bureau of prison riot teams when there are major disturbances in cities. We have the experience.

Here is a real grab bag of stuff.

Prison is the most racist place I have ever been in.

A heavy hand descends on USP Marion. In the aftermath of the murder of two guards and one inmate in a very short period of time the BOP reacts. The prisoners at the time claim to have been beaten, personal property taken and other acts of revenge. I give one prisoner's view and my comments. Keep in mind I was not there yet. This opinion is my personal experiences at the same prison, with some of the same prisoners. This was the only level 6, Federal Supermax prison at the time of these events. Many prisoners had been murdered leading up to the killings of the guards. A race war was in full swing between the DC Blacks and the Aryan Brotherhood. This is a story about the response the guards, administration of the prisons and the leadership of the Federal Bureau Of Prisons had to the seemingly out of control "end of the line" prison in 1983.

Sally Ann Tucker plead guilty and was convicted of the murder of her infant daughter. She is sentenced to prison for 20 years. We the tax payer pay for her rehabilitation and get nothing for it. She wont even report to her Parole Officer, hold a job or do any of the counseling she promised the parole board. Go figure.

This was the first murder investigation I was able to assist with. I was a cadet with the Cowlitz County Sheriff's in Washington State office at the time, 40 years ago. All this time I have wondered what happened to Sally's other baby?

I will tell you exactly why the implementation of policy will lead to many deaths inside US Federal Prisons. I will tell you how disease has spread in prison in the past and what needs to change to protect inmates and staff from the Corona Virus this time. I will explain why nothing the President, Congress or Health Officials will be able to stop the infection in prison. If you think prisoners will be protected, think again. It would be the end of the world if you relied on the Federal Bureau of Prisons to protect you. It will be the end for many prisoners before this crisis is over.

How can a crime become a federal crime. Don't the states have laws too?

I stood and watched prisoners being beaten. Sometimes almost to death while I waited.

I was investigated for a wide variety of crimes I was accused of commiting while working at a Supermax prison in Illinois.

I meet the Cuban boatlift again when I start work at USP Marion.

I hear it all the time. If you didn't do it you have nothing to fear. True, but... How many times have you been accused of something you never did? I have been investigated dozens of times for things I did not do. Inmates make stuff up to get rid of officers who are good at keeping things under control. It is policy not to take any action against a prisoner who is proven false. Try that at your local police station. Make up a crime, say you witnessed and say your neighbor did it. When the Cops find out you made it all up, think they will give you a candy bar and send you home? They will in prison.

Torturer James Lee Baker was caught at USP Marion trying to beat a confession from a minimum security inmate. He took great pride in getting confession from people as high up as s Associate Warden, the second in charge of a prison. He chocked the man and struck him in the groin. He destroyed the case against a suspect in child molestation, got a supervisor fired and lost his right to vote, own a firearm, hold public office, his retirement and the respect of many. To say he was a bad egg is no exaggeration. If you listen to him he will tell you that I and many of my coworkers have no honor. I will let you decide after you hear this story.

You hear all about the big deal Mafia Dons. What about the little crew leaders, the soldiers of the Mafia? Frank Sacco was just one of those guys. Almost never heard about but doing a great deal of harm by stealing, bribery of Police Officers, Inspectors, Elected Officials, and just a few murders now and then. I knew him as a guy who had the will to fight but years in prison took their toll on him.

Less than one tenth of one percent of the total population of the federal prison system but they murder 25% of all the people killed in federal prison. They killed two Officers at USP Marion in a single day. Here is a short history of the racial war they started decades ago that still rages today. My entire time as a Correctional Officer at the Supermax Prison USP Marion the AB's or The Brand as they are known was at war with African American's.

Some of the stupidest things you can do in prison is set your own cell on fire. Yes a few idiots do it. Here are a few stories about a few special kind of stupid prisoners.

The Mafia Don John Gotti, known as the Teflon Don or the Dapper Don had his ass handed to him by a bank robber Walter O. Johnson. The only prisoner I was afraid of was Johnson. He was an out of control psychopath, the kind of guy that keep Cops wives up at night. He got out of my prison and in less than a month killed a police officer and tried to kill 3 more. I saw Johnson punching and kicking the old weak man that was John Gotti, once the most feared man in New York City, reduced to a punching bag for a street punk.

The Aryan Brotherhood is the most violent prison gang in the federal prison system. David Sahakian promised to kill 10 guards for every AB put to death by the government. After a multi million dollar trial the Government refused to sentence a single AB to death for dozens of murders. Who is running the federal system? Gangs or the Government.
