Listen as Lindsey Oaks tells her story of reaching an Olympic-level horse competition, and the lessons she learned along the way.    At the tender age of 17, Lindsey Oaks informed her parents that she would be moving 500 miles away to pursue a career competing horses as a professional upon graduation from school. The crazy part? She'd never competed in a regulation competition.    Lindsey's is the unlikely story of a kid from South Georgia, who, together with her equine partner “Taylor,” climbed the ranks to compete on the world stage and the real-world lessons they learned along the way. Like anyone else, they didn't find success alone. Their tribe of friends and supporters pushed with them every step of the way. They failed repeatedly, but were able to access the areas where things went wrong, and change their strategies going forward. He's mad about the body and the embodied wisdom available to us at all times when we make time to listen.    In his teens he was diagnosed with ADHD and took medication until his mid-twenties when he began to search for natural ways to manage the symptoms. Mindfulness gave him a connection to himself, his environment, and the present moment in a way he hadn't experienced before. There was a natural process in how their journeys supported one another.
