Tuesdays Morning Bull was jam packed with stuff, literally; we discussed hoarding in a very detailed and organized way! We respected and honored the 'National Day's Of' today as we are want to do throughout the calendar year. Off of that, a very peculiar day was made aware to us and we wanted your take on the incredibly dry day of recognition. We played 'Whats In Bulls Basement' and Rob revealed he most likely needs another surgery on his shoulder plates.  Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! Throughout the year, weekly and daily, we like to focus on the 'National Day's Of', which are semi-official/unofficial labels so that people have a reason to celebrate their favorite things! Well this one we found out about today being, takes the cake! Not only did we tease that alittle bit, but we discussed some of the other 'days of' taking place today such as National Puppy Day, National Cat Day and several others. But the big reveal would happen after all of that. ...And now, the BIG reveal: today is National Melba Toast Day! Ever heard of it? Hm, half of us hadnt either, but that didnt stop Rob and the rest of Morning Bull from digging into the history of the incredibly dry, boring day we are celebrating today. We even found a celebrity who endorses melba toast that we recently spoke too! On Mondays show, we spoke with Dorothy the Organizer from 'Hoarders' on A&E and she had some really interesting stories and advice on how NOT to be a hoarder as well as some of the tell-tale signs. Therefore today, we wanted to explore ours and your 'hoarder' sides and hear what we all collect or hoard or 'pack rat'. Some of us know we hoard alittle bit, but for the most part, its all in good fun and under control. We had some fun with some of the texts we got in from you and the funny and crazy things you hoard! We played 'Whats In Bulls Basement!?' This is pretty self explanatory but we got even more critical and inquizitive about the things he's got down their since we just talked about HOARDING. Regardless, he had some pretty cool stories behind the one of a kind items he has in his collection in his mancave.  Finally, to conclude our 'hoarding' topic, we asked more of YOU if there is anything you or your spouse has that either of you want to throw out because its meaningless, but the other does not. Some of the stories were just outrageous and the others were pretty relateable!   ONLY AVAILABLE on the Morning Bull Podcast! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Mondays Morning Bull was recharged and ready for the week ahead! We had a lot of stuff to get to, either beginning or already mid-roll, including the March Madness tournament and some of the fun with brackets we are having, as well as a reboot of an old show kicking off tonight! And of course, we had to get you involved also and this happened in the form of 'National Sing It Out Loud Day'! We asked YOU to sing acapella for us and compete for Steakums prize packs! Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! Being that today is National Sing Out Loud Day and we asked you early to tune up and get ready to call in and sing a song for us for a prize, Rob was our guinea pig and sang outside the front of his house this morning to give us an example. It was...as you'd expect.  We updated our 97Rock brackets in which the 4 of us are registered and entered, although we cannot win. We wanted to compete against eachother and the rest of you. So today we went through the bracket busters that took place over the weekend and previewed some of the stuff to look forward to.  Elizabeth Vargas is an American journalist who has been around and seen all types of breaking news and stories; and she joined us on the show today to talk about her newest project: the reboot of America's Most Wanted! She also told us some really cool stories about her past and some of the classic rock and celebrity legends she spent time around! Today was National Sing Out Loud Day and we prepared and performed in honor of the day all morning long! We asked you to call in and sing a song for us, acapella, in front of people or in your car, LOUD. Believe it or not, we had a lot of people stepping up to the 'phone mic' and a lot of great performers! Picking a winner was tough but incredibly fun to hear, check them out! Punman was in town and in studio today to help make sense of all of the 'March Madness' taking place as we get deeper into the NCAA tournament. To detail some of the teams that are in the tournament, or so we thought, Punman was armed with puns of the team nicknames from the madness. Like I said, 'or so we thought'...apparently Punman wasnt paying attention to who was in the tourney. From Hoarders, Dorothy the Organizer joined us late in the show to promote the new season kicking off tonight on A&E and give us some thoughts and advice on hoarding. She defined hoarding and some of the major qualities that describe a hoarder and even gave us some free advice on how to declutter and have a better sense of organization! She was fantastic and worth the full listen, as is everything else! ONLY AVAILABLE on the Morning Bull Podcast! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Today, he revealed what those two animals were, how he caught them and the aftermath of the entire experience.  The hilarious Sklar brothers, twin comedians from St. Louis gave us a ring to talk about their virtual stand up event taking place tomorrow! Thursday on Morning Bull was post- St.Patrick's Day recovery and rejuvination heading toward the weekend! We recapped our evenings last night and talked about some of the stuff we did to celebrate the holiday. What about you? Several topics arose off of recent events such as: shortest job you've ever had, after the firing of Ralph Krueger by the Sabres; Snakes and plumber stories and tattoos; how old is too old to get a tattoo sleeve? We asked you to contribute all show as usual! Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! We took a call today from a plumber who had some crazy stories from throughout his 40 year career here in Buffalo. The stuff he tells us about pulling and snaking out of pipes were hilarious and startling. We had some laughs and he was a great sport! With the Sabres moving on from Ralph Krueger yesterday amidst this miserable season, we talked about how he is one of the shortest tenured coaches to pass through Buffalo. This got us thinking: whats the shortest job we ever had? Did it suck? Did you quit or get fired? We explored all of those questions and your responses! Bull is thinking about getting a tattoo sleeve but he's not quite sure what to get and if he should at this point. Rob says you ABSOLUTELY cannot start getting a sleeve at Bulls age, 53, or any age close to that. He presented his argument and we rebutted; as did you! The stories and discussion was hilarious and informative! Rob recently discovered a skunk issue outside his home that his dogs were in danger of being exposed to and sprayed. So, he called a 'trap guy' to humanely capture the skunks and release them far away from his property. Upon doing so, he realized he had to figure out how to make some bait for the trap and the preparation of it was so disgusting we barley could listen to it all. Check it out! Happy St. Patricks Day from us on Morning Bull and 97 Rock! We celebrated all day here on Morning Bull with Irish and St. Pattys Day themed comedy, parodies, music and sound from around the world! St. Patrick (Hammer) himself joined us to talk about HIS BIRTHDAY TODAY and the weather; and the great comedian and comic actor Jamie Kennedy gave us a ring on his own Irish heritage-day! Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! With Shamrock shakes coming back to McDonalds for the St Patricks Day season, we wanted to know what the best mixer is for one of them! Bull is at a bar, and Rob and Chris also have access to alcohol, and maybe a shake...any thoughts!? Jamie Kennedy is a comedian/comedic actor that has hosted and written his own shows and done stand-up for a very long time. He gave us a few minutes on this St Patricks Day, as he is of Irish descent, and we talked to him about his newest project as well as his previous work we love. Rob sparred with him, in good fun, and we all had some laughs.  From WGRZ Channel 2 Weather, our own St Patrick Hammer gave us a ring later in the show to let us know that today is his birthday! He also talked with us about the coming weather for this spring and how he feels about snow MAYBE being done for the year. Good luck he said, and Happy St Pattys Day! We played 'Green Back At Ya' for the holiday, which involved any ficticious green characters ever. The rounds went on for a good while and your submissions, which we couldnt look at until after the game, were absolutely fantastic. You called us out on SOOO many names and characters we missed. It was a lot of fun! Mike Harrington from the Buffalo News, covering the Buffalo Sabres and baseball, along with many many other sports for the area, joined us to talk about the lowly Sabres. Coincidentally, right smack-dab in the middle of his segment, he got the alert that the Sabres fired HC Ralph Kreuger. It was pretty dramatic, believe it or not and we talked alittle more about the move as well.  We brought up a topic that we wanted to chaptered til tomorrow because of all of the fantastic texts and submissions we got from you. The topic involved plumbers and a plumbers tool known as 'the snake'. We got so many texts and submissions of our own of hilarious things we've 'snaked' out of our toilets and pipes that we had to carry over into tomorrows show. Stay tuned! Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! Rob hosted a virtual meat raffle for the Ronald McDonald House which is located in a very large mansion on Ferry in Buffalo. Although it was virtual, we got into the discussion about the other mansions in Buffalo and their origin stories. For that, we enlisted some professional help! Steve Cichon from BuffaloStories.com and other Buffalo media outlets, gave us a ring to lend his expertise on the manions in Buffalo. With his wealth of knowledge he told us some really cool stories and origins of these enormous, one-time, homes! Everybody is familiar with SNL in some form or another. And, even more so, familiar with the cast members, who largely go on to other realms of comedy. Rob couldnt make a drink last, or NOT interupt someone; Bull couldnt go without saying “for sure” and several other phrases!  We carried over a topic from yesterday that involved stories of 'loud sex noises' and experiences where we've overheard people doing such things. He went last night for his first of two shots with his wife and he told us about the stark difference in experience from what Rob had in Syracuse. We talked anniversaries as well; this included the one year mark of COVID lockdowns in the USA and one of Bulls favorite records he got when he was a kid. The inventor of the cassette tape passed away, so we remembered some of those childhood memories and LOUD SEX...that is all. Check it out.  Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! Bull broke down his trip last night to get his first of two shots of the COVID vaccine. Rob told us about his trip from earlier in the week to get the single dose J&J vaccine and the differences between the two experiences were surprising. All went well and on schedule, so we wanted to explore and discuss some more details about the vaccine in NYS. It was beautiful out yesterday across WNY, with most people getting temperatures to enjoy in the mid 60's. We wanted to know how you spent you day and enjoyed the unseasonally warm weather. Bull, Rob, Chris and Bobby talked about what they did and we had some fun! There was a story out of Australia that we found which detailed a letter sent by a neighbor to a couple who have incredibly loud sex and are very inconsiderate. The letter was hilarious and made us think of some of the times we've experienced this and the funny memories from those times. Chris had a great story and we even took you texts as well! It has been roughly one year since lockdowns commenced and things began to change due to COVID in the United States. We shared some of our fun memories of the early on discussions and characters we did. However, we payed PLENTY of deserved attention to all of those lost as well as the frontliners of all kinds and types. We dedicated a segment to help you celebrate these 'special days' with things such as Chuck Norris jokes, bagpipe parodies, Bulls Salvation Army cutout update and some discussion about landline phones and who still uses them! We found a list that was made after an extensive study regarding the funniest comedians of all time was conducted and right away, we knew Rob would have a problem with it. However, we described the detail in which the study was done, how they came up with the rankings and even had a discussion of our own. Rob wasnt having it. He disagreed with most of the list. He also gave us a few details on how it went, how he was feeling and his long journey headed back to Buffalo.  Once Rob got back to his home studio, we checked in with him on the microphone and made sure he was stable before detailing his entire journey and experience. He told us about the place he went to get the vaccine, how people were reacting and what they were talking about, as well as going over some of the paperwork and photos he got.  Legendary actor Tim Matheson joined the show mid way thru, to talk about his latest venture TV show and also go back over some of the coolest stories and behind the scenes tales from his career. Rob knew and asked him about a really cool hidden trivia fact many people may not even know.  WWE wrestler & current 'Young Rock' wrestling consultant Chavo Guerrero Jr. gave us a ring to talk about his work on the latest NBC show about Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson! He also told us about his experiences growing up in the famed Mexican wrestling 'Guerrero' family and all of the things he got to absorb from some of the greatest wrestlers of all time from a very young age.  Bull and Chris both saw 'Coming 2 America (2)' over the weekend on PrimeVideo and they had a review ready for us! Although they differed, the discussion lent to a very healthy debate about sequels, the movie as a whole, cameos and much much more. It even got us talking about a topic we wanted to extend to our bretheren from the North! Being that the border has been closed for over one year and we had just discussed 'Coming 2 America', we wanted to ask Canadians: what do you want to do when you can 'Come back to America'? We got a bunch of responses from our friends up North and they explained to us some of the questions and mysteries we had about Canadians coming to America.  ONLY AVAILABLE on the Morning Bull Podcast! Back at it this Monday Morning, there was a lot to get into from the weekend! We talked new vaccine appointments available in WNY; its International Womens Day, so we took texts and had topics regarding that subject and we talked the Royal family briefly as well! Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! Bull, Rob and Chris have all been vigorously attempting to find and book appointments all over WNY for their COVID vaccine. All three of them have recently made appoitments to get theirs and we got into some of the details on how and when they got them early in the show. Listen in tomorrow to hear Robs reaction and recap of the event tomorrow morning! While it is International Womens Day, we asked you: what woman or women in your life, that arent related to you in anyway, do you appreciate and therefore, will never forget? We had some great stories between the four of us and we also took your text submissions on the women YOU appreciate as well! With the newest COVID vaccine being released by Johnson & Johnson, we wanted to know where the slang term 'johnson' and all of the bodily slangs for that matter, came from and the origins of them. Some of the stories and folklore were absolutely hilarious and eye opening to say the least. We also asked you if you know about any origin stories of famous/infamous slang terms for private parts. There was a pastor from Missouri who, over the weekend, went viral because a clip of his sermon about women not living up to 'goals' as 'trophy wives'. Hes drawing all sorts of ire from women all over the internet and more and we reacted to it as well. It almost sounds like a comedy bit! Oprah sat down with Meghan Markle and former Prince Harry recently and yesterday the much of the interview was released and the media jumped aboard full force! Rob discussed watching it and the viewership that it got and the reasons that it was viewed so much. We took your texts on why men might watch it as well! ONLY AVAILABLE on the Morning Bull Podcast! This 'Fry Day' Morning Bull, you read that right, we FRIED people in our own virtual vat of oil to help cool you off for the weekend! The submissions were terrific as always and then we continued the fun with a magic trick! Michael Carbanaro, illusionist from the 'Carbanaro Effect' on TruTV joined us and we asked you what you wanted to be when you grew up! Josh Allen, cigars and blunts all came up in our opening segment—for some reason.  Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! As we are doing every Friday during Lent, today was 'FRY DAY' on Morning Bull and 97 Rock and we had some incredible submissions to get us kicked off. Bull even got thrown in by a listener, thats how crazy we got today! We picked a winner and you heard from her, first hand about her “crappy” story! Steve Lukather is the guitarist from legendary classic rock band Toto! He called the show the other day and we talked forever. In the conversation, he mentioned that he looked up to George Harrison at the ripe age of 9 and knew right then and there that he wanted to be a guitarist, if not Harrison himself! He also mentions some really cool back stage tales and name drops that we were blown away by! Off of Lukather's call, we got onto the topic of: what we/you wanted to be when we grew up? This was a great text in topic and we had plenty of solicitations of great people and careers we all wanted to be when we were little. Some of the submissions included famous athletes, celebrities, musicians and more. Chris and Rob had really funny ones and Bull...well just listen to the sadness—and the fun! Illusionist/magician Michael Carbanaro from his own show on TruTV gave us a ring and told us some cool behind the scenes stories of being a magician and having his own show dedicated to it. He also obliged Rob and commiserated about being in the world of illusion and magic. Hes a great guy and has a cool virtual show happening tonight and tomorrow! Many of us know that Rob dabbled in magic and illusion throughout his early life and career, along with being a comedian. Today, he displayed a ZOOM trick for us and you to experience with a small deck of cards and two subjects. Check out the video and see if you can figure out how he did it! Thursdays Morning Bull was packed with experiments, debates and text in topics that we needed your help with! We discussed which is the 'sexiest' instrument and asked you as well; we experimented with beer and cheerios off of our interview with Resurgence yesterday and Producer Bobby had a crazy story to tell about getting pulled over...you wont believe how it ends. Kissing and who does it was our opening topic, if you were wondering! Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! We revisted the topic of 6 Dr. Seuss books being banned and halted of production because of their 'cultural insensitivity'. This got us thinking of some other 'offensive' things from the past including a movie called 'Mother, Jugs and Speed'. We played the trailer and it was awesome.  Mike Wilson from Pembroke High School joined us to talk about the annual event 'Shooting For A Cure' which benefits Roswell Park and cancer research as a whole. This all takes place Friday night and donations to be entered for prizes lasts the whole month of March. Check it out for more info! Our producer Bobby is pretty quiet when it comes to stories and experiences. But after we brought up getting pulled over and trying to get out of speeding tickets, he had a double part story that you gotta hear to believe. Its not the ending you'd expect, and then again it is.  Turns out Bull had worked with (for) Rob at some point before 5 years ago when this show kicked off. Bull was going through some of his files to purge and he found a tax form from Robs club nearly 30 years ago in which he worked a significant amount of events at, and with Rob. It was hilarious and we never knew that they would get to reunite all this time later! Which is the sexiest instrument you could think of? What makes it sexy? Have you ever tried to learn an instrument to woo or impress someone? We told some stories and asked you those very questions to try to nail down WHICH instrument is the sexiest. Your input was crucial and we had plenty of examples of them as well! Bull does his show from his home studio in his basement and has beer at hand. This was very helpful today when he tested a new 'breakfast idea' that included Cheerios and beer in a bowl! This was in tribute to the new beer Resurgence is releasing in reference to the smell we all know and love from the cereal factory right in our own city! ONLY AVAILABLE on the Morning Bull Podcast! On this Wednesday Morning Bull we had plenty of text topics and discussions that we needed your help and input on! Speeding tickets and excuses we tried to give cops was one discussion, we had some Sabres sound and an interview with our own Mike Harrington from the Buffalo News after last nights Sabres game in NYC vs the Rangers. Rob has his daughters extra phone now as an update for him and we wanted to see if he went through it and what you thought about the issue.  Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! From the Buffalo News, covering everything from the Sabres to the MLB, Mike Harrington joined us after a few weeks to talk about the woeful Sabres who are on a significant losing skid. He also updated us on the MLB and the potential for the Toronto Blue Jays playing at Sahlens Field again this upcoming season.  Jeff Ware from Resurgence Brewing in Buffalo gave us a ring late in the show to talk about the newest release from Insurgence called 'My City Tastes Like Buffalo'. Its a cool take on the Cheerios smell we all know and love in Buffalo and he explained more to us about it.  Have you ever broke your phone and needed an emergency replacement? Well Rob did the other day and had a pretty relatable and interesting story about now using his daughters old phone. We asked ourselves and you whether we've been in these kinds of situations and had some opinions on what Rob and other parents in that position should or could do.  We've all gotten pulled over, most likely, and the same goes for speeding tickets...unless you had a really good excuse to get out of it. This is what we asked you! We took texts and told stories about times we've been pulled over and almost gotten a ticket if it wasnt for a killer excuse we had. What about you? Dr. Seuss has entered the world of 'cancel culture' with the news of 6 of his books being banned and discontinued-publishing of in the US. This comes after the publisher and writers met with educators and determined the 6 books to be culturally insensitive and offensive. We wanted to talk alittle bit about whats happening in our society and what possibly could be offensive in a Dr. Seuss book.  ONLY AVAILABLE on the Morning Bull Podcast! We had some fun with that discussion and your submissions; Rob has a new 'toy' we had to rip him about and cheese store memories were aplenty.  Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! Over last summer, Rob got in a motorcycle accident and that closed the journey for riding for Rob forever. However, he wanted to 'remain manly' somehow by getting a sports car. The only problem: its a Pontiac Solstice; and it doesnt exactly bode well for his 'man-status'. We asked you for comments and ways to position this purchase as manly, and not for women. It was tough.  A big group of bars & restaurants locally sued the state to be able to stay open past 11PM. They won and now can stay open until 4AM. This is a big win for those involved in the lawsuit, but we wanted to ask YOU about your adventures staying out til that time...if you ever did or still do!? The response was terrific and we really appreciate it as always!  Bulls brother is a musician and lives out of state. Along with many of us, he has been on the phone a lot lately trying to get a vaccine appointment and has been subjected to the long waiting 'music' or song that has earwormed us all! He re-recorded it and gave it to us to present to you! Have you ever heard of a cheese store in your neighborhood or area? Rob did and has & we asked you the same question. Finally, we had Judd Nelson, Breakfast Club and St. Elmos Fire star called us to talk what hes been up to recently. Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! Judd Nelson from the Breakfast Club, St Elmos Fire and many other 'coming of age' classics, called us in the middle of the show to talk about his latest work on a very disturbing LMN movie. He also took some of our questions regarding his memories of working on the classics we mentioned, and many others; and he told us some cool behind the scene anecdotes about his career.  There were several times and instances that came up today regarding ZOOM bloopers and mistakes that we've either witnessed or heard about due to their going viral. We had plent of sound of recent examples and even had a ZOOM sin committed on our own show...try to guess who it was! Matt Bergman is a local comedian gone big time who has some friendly ties to our show! He told us about an event hes part of happening tonight on MusicIsArt.org at 7P to benefit MIA. He also had some laughs with us and commiserated with Rob about the current, struggling state of live comedy.  We talked with Chris throughout the show about her trip to Florida and the differences between NYS and Florida State. She told us about the weather, her different experiences and ways she was able to enjoy her vacation. There were some startling comparisons and differences between what we know here and what she found Florida to be like last week.  Bull tried to get an appointment for a vaccine, and has been for weeks, but today we revealed audio of the disasterous phone call/call back he received over the weekend. Some fun viral sound of an embarassing ZOOM chat made its way into the program and a congratulations to a former Sabres legend was on hand. He was at a friends house for an extended period of time with a BOOGER hanging on his nose. No one said anything to him. No one. He noticed when he got home and told us the story, so we wanted to turn it into a topic and ask YOU what the etiquette is and whether this has happened to you!? Finally Friday, and since it is also Lent, its Fish Fry Friday AND something we've coined the past few years, 'Fry Day'! This included us throwing anyone we & you wanted to into the fryer! We had a lot of fun and this will be going on every Friday during Lent, so get ready! Mike Lesakowski joined us to talk about the 11 Day Power Play record being broken & his counterpart in Edmonton, Brent, also joined the call!  Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! The first Friday during Lent means that its the first 'Fry Day' of the 2021 Morning Bull season! We had Bobby get a fryer and all of the oil & ingredients ready this morning, fire up the fryer and get it ready for you texts and submissions! We wanted to know who YOU wanted to 'fry' for doing something mean, wrong, or just annoying you. The submissions were fantastic and to reward you, we will find a winner every Friday during Lent to win 4 fish fry's from Tops! From yesterday, we resurrected the topic of sports tantrums and some of the best ever witnessed and/or recorded. We had so many yesterday that we carried more into today AND got more of your texts today. There was plenty of audio of famous freakouts, but your submissions competed quite well! Mike Lesakowski, co-founder of the 11 Day Power Play with his wife Amy, joined us on the show to talk about their recent record from 2020 being broken by a group up in Edmonton. That group is led by Brent Saik and he also called the program along with Mike to discuss the his group breaking the record! Its a great thing these guys do every year and its cool to see the synergy they are creating every time they have an event.  Dont worry; we didnt leave out any Fry Day submissions! We got them all show and dipped back into the fryer at the studio every so often to fulfill your requests. Some of the bests included frying a guy who cut over 3 lanes without a blinker in Buffalo; politicians of all kinds, professional sport commissioners and the New Jersey Devils! Almost Friday, which means its Thursday here on Morning Bull, and we greeted you with plenty of fun topics and text in opportunities as we tend to try to do. We discussed Bobby's snowmobiling trip with Rob yesterday, Chris celebrated national wine day here on the show this morning and we tackled some interesting topics related to sleep and an online dating jerk! Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! Rod Ponton is the infamous lawyer from Texas who went world-wide viral when his computer and zoom lense changed from default to a cat-moji! It was hilarious and the video is on twitter and all over the place. Hes a great sport and had some great laughs with us here in Buffalo.  Its very cold here in Buffalo and WNY; nothing we're not really used to. However, we wanted YOUR get and opinion on: how cold is it?! Your responses were priceless and very fitting for the freezing cold weather this week.  Do you wear socks to bed? If you do, you may notice that you sleep alittle better than when or if you had not worn them. Chris brought us a study about how the warmth of your feet, from socks, can help you sleep. Check it out and get some proper sleep! Temper tantrums in life happen. Temper tantrums in sports happen even more!
