The National Weather Service calls for a chance of showers today with a high near 60. Overnight will be partly cloudy with a low around 44. In news, thousands of Buffalonians wandered Elmwood Village on Saturday to catch all the music from Buffalo Porchfest. One of the first - and arguably one of the best festivals in Buffalo each year. In Sports, the Bisons won Saturday over the Worcester Red Socks, 6-5. They play again today. And the Bandits play game two against the Saskatchewan Rush tonight. Win and they're National Lacross League champions again.

The first time Nestor Aparicio attended an NFL game in Buffalo with Mike Ricigliano in the late 1980s, he met then-Buffalo Bisons baseball general manager Mike Billoni at the Anchor Bar for wings and pizza and heard the enthusiasm for Jim Kelly and The K Gun offense. All these years later, the Bills still haven't given their hometown a Super Bowl parade but these Buffalonians are sure that Josh Allen is going to be the one that delivers. First up: King Henry and Lamar on Sunday night in Orchard Park. Bob McCarthy was at the Buffalo News for 41 years, spending much of it covering New York politics. He retired this February, leaving behind an award-winning career and a deep understanding of all things related to the so-called Queen City, including the lengthy political life of Buffalo-native Kathy Hochul. Bob McCarthy joined Errol to talk about the challenges Hochul faces as a governor from Upstate New York, what the battle over her chief judge nomination may mean for Democrats, and why she should not be underestimated as a politician. They also looked back on his long career in journalism and discussed what Buffalonians should be paying attention to. Finally, they weighed in on how the Christmas blizzard in Buffalo was handled and whether some of the 47 deaths that occurred could have been prevented. You can get the who, what, and where anywhere, but on KITM David Waldman and Greg Dworkin focus on “the why” behind the news. Jew-ish Republican-elect George Santos, who goes under the name of George Devolder and Anthony Zabrovsky, claims to be Holocaust, 9/11, Pulse Nightclub, and cancer-adjacent, and quasi-graduated from a series of prestigious schools, becoming eventually wealthy-destitute, as well as somewhat black-ish. Even Marjorie Taylor Greene can't shovel the BS like George can. George Santos threatens the Republican party's reputation as a moral standard as well as their planned speakership knifings. Now it turns out that George's crime-like behaviors might be deemed crime-actual with investigations being initiated at federal and local levels. Buffalo drops its driving “ban” in favor of an “advisory” allowing Buffalonians the freedom to freeze where they choose. Officials finger point to stay warm, while poor and POC take the brunt as always. In Nevada, Michele Fiore (yeah, you remember her) has no judicial experience, and yet Republicans appointed her to a judgeship in Pahrump… Pahrump? Pahrump Justice Court.

When it comes to social issues, America isn't willing to do what needs to be done. Instead, America puts individual rights over social responsibilities and elevates "me" over "we." Even trying to change that formula elicits calls of radical, socialist, and un-American. So we have racism, a gun problem, and segregated cities--three things that came together in Buffalo, New York, and a murderer took ten lives. (cover photo courtesy of The Buffalo News)

This week, the world's largest airline ensured that this episode could not be released on time. To all of the listeners whose Monday mornings were tragically impacted by this unfortunate event, we at Munch My Benson are truly sorry. Sadly, the writing staff of Season 13 of SVU was absolutely unapologetic in thoroughly trashing the second largest city in the state that SVU calls home. We've seen this show look askance at lesser states and provinces across the continent, but the glee with which this episode implies that Buffalonians will stop at nothing to ensure that their own children grow up in unsafe homes is truly shocking. Josh and Adam, of course, talk early childhood education, examine the films of Satyajit Ray and Michael Cimino, describe bottomless brunches and lil' squeezers, and plumb the depths of Rollins's depraved backstory. Bills, Bills, Bills...and some Sabres led the show for us today on Morning Bull! We not only had plenty of celebratory sound and songs to root on the Bills this Saturday versus the Ravens, but plenty of great interviews from some huge names to help us prepare for the primetime matchup tomorrow night in Buffalo! We also had a few minutes to go thru some Sabres highlights and post-game sound from their season opener last night which ended in a 6-4 loss to the Caps. This guest list included a very very famous national newscaster who hails from Buffalo, to Liam McHugh from NBC Sports and our usual visit with Vic Carucci! It was packed and we even squeezed in a few small topics that got some texts as well! Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world! Wolf Blitzer is a CNN analystr, but most importantly a Buffalo-guy and a huge Bills fan who has carried the national torch for them for years! He talked about his Bills fandom, how it all began and even gave us a brief history of his growing up in Buffalo! He had some really cool stories and connects incredibly well with his fellow Buffalonians! Liam McHugh is a Buffalo-dude by transplant! He attended UB and has a heavy knowledge of both the Sabres and Bills as well as WNY! He was glad to catch up with us since he last was here, several years ago. The main topic however was based around the Bills big game tomorrow night versus the Ravens. We fit alittle bit of Sabres talk after their season opener at home last night! From the Buffalo News, Vic Carucci joined us as he prepares heavily for the Bills game tomorrow night and he was loaded with matchup and player breakdowns for the biggest game the Bills have been in since 1996! He joins us every Friday before a Bills game and he always gets us the best and most accurate analysis heading into the weekend.  Our buddy from WGRZ Channel 2 weather Pat Hammer called in to inform us on the upcoming weather patterns and when to expect snow! We wondered if there would be significant snowfall tomorrow for the 8:15P start time tomorrow for the Bills/Ravens division round matchup and he set us and Rob straight about the possible LACK of it. Check it out.  We also discussed restaurants in Erie county officially having restrictions loosened off of a lawsuit as well as a Mickey mantle card that sold for multiple millions of dollars! Tuesdays Morning Bull heard everyone except Rob reporting BUT he joined us in spirit...and in some interviews from the recent past (including yesterday). We were loaded with guests from a controversial reality star; a local TV game show host who helped us remember Alex Trebek and a USWNT soccer star. It was a packed day and we even featured a local story that we covered a few months back that brought a lot of assistance to local businesses in a nearby town! Robs Did You Know took place, as did the TrendZone featuring some great sound from around the world!            Andrew Cuomo unveiled a plan specified for WNY directly, which he is calling a 'Yellow Zone' yesterday. We discussed what this means, what the new restrictions are and how they will impact everyone moving forward. Carole Baskin, infamous from her numerous star appearances as one of the main focal points of the show 'Tiger King' joined us early on in the show to talk about what shes been up to since DWTS and Tiger King. She also told us some behind the scenes stories regarding the truth of her feuds on the show and what was 'real' and what was not. John Disciullo is the host of 'Bragging Rights' on WBBZ-TV here in Buffalo and has worked on several local outlets such as WIVB and WKBW in which he spent time with & dined with Alex Trebek in his travels to Buffalo. He had some great memories and stories to share with us and YOU and we felt like it really helped to bring some closure to this weekends news and preserve Alex's legacy; especially in Buffalo. Abby Wambach is a Rochester native and now-retired, USWNT Soccer star and she joined us here in Buffalo to catch up with her Rochester-bretheran Bull! With her we talked about her new book which was recently adapted for kids, as well as how she is dealing with the pandemic and some of her favorite memories of her career in the national spotlight. We took your submissions for our Bills Tailgate To-Go sign/poster slogans as they head to Arizona to take on the Cardinals...another BIRD mascot! There were so many great submissions in such a short time, it was hard to decide. We also talked about the over $150,000 donated to Oshei Childrens Hospital in honor of Josh Allens grandmothers passing from Bills fans and Buffalonians from near and afar! We were joined by Amanda Brinkman Co Founder and Host of 'Small Business Revolution' to talk about the shows 5th season which features businesses in Fredonia, NY and premieres tonight! She told us how they picked Fredonia, what it entailed to get this to work during a pandemic and her experiences in WNY. ONLY AVAILABLE on the Morning Bull Podcast!
