He also shares why businesses should send their employees by saying “A CEO and a CFO are talking about training and leadership development and the CFO says, ‘what happens if we spend a bunch of money training them and then they turn around and leave?' and the CEO says, ‘What happens if we don't, and they stay?'”. Finally, Jamieson Mackay mentions how Leadership Clear Lake has benefited his company as he has had three employees graduate from the program.

In this week's episode, Dr. Raja discusses his field of medicine as a clinical assistant professor of medicine at UTMB Division of Cardiology and his active involvement in the teaching and training of cardiology fellows and residents. He also talks about the different ways that people, even with unfavorable genetics, can prolong and even prevent many cardiac diseases. He examines the differences in cardiac events between males and females and how females in general need to be more observant as their symptoms are not the typical ones that are thought of in a cardiac event. Lastly Dr. Raja discusses his own philosophy to treating his patients as if they are his family without worrying about all the other factors.
