This verse in the Śrī Brahma-saṁhitā (BS 5:37) describes Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī. It says Kṛṣṇa is there, but eternally expanded to serve him is Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, and within the purport—have you ever read the purport to that verse? We've read it together in the old days. It's the longest purport you'll find in the Brahma-saṁhitā or perhaps anywhere else, and it's a description really of the 64 arts that Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is perfect in. And she offers that to Kṛṣṇa. It's this perfection of service that is ārādhanam, this feeling of "Let me perfect my service." So this is the motto of ISV. Our motto, our battle cry, is "Always better service," and this is the mood of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, and all the devotees are always trying to follow in her footsteps to perform better and better service to Kṛṣṇa, because her service is the best. Her service is perfect, so we try to perfect our service. In Vṛndāvana once, Prabhupāda came out of his room and the devotees offered him a garland. It was scraggly. Is that a word? Scraggly? It is? Yay! It was scraggly; it was withered. And in the first place, it wasn't a very nice garland, but after the heat hit it, then it turned into something that made Prabhupāda's lips curl a little bit. And then he called all the garland makers to his room, and he gave them a seminar on how to make garlands. So when I walked in this morning and I saw these—the garlands that the devotees are making here—this is ārādhanam. This is the mood of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī. In the fine arts in the spiritual world, as an example, garland making is one of the arts. Can it be refined? Well, I remember a day here at ISV when it was by Jamunā's grace that we had any flowers at all. We were so poor. How poor were we? I remember we were so poor when we decided to start our saṅkīrtan party and we needed a table. We looked around at each other, "Where are we going to get it? We need a table to set up. We'll have to get somebody to loan us the money." The flowers that we were getting, because Jamunā from the very beginning was the only one supplying us flowers, and they were carnations, but the room was so hot there at our old temple. How hot was it? It was so hot that those little garlands that we offered, the best of what we could put together, they would dry up within an hour and they became these very scraggly little garlands. But over time, we see that the devotees have learned the art of making garlands, and Kṛṣṇa has given more and more facility to get flowers, which is the real opulence in Deity worship—flowers. And now, if you see these vases up here next to Prabhupāda or over here, this looks like somebody is following in the footsteps of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī. What to speak of Prabhupāda's garland! Hare Kṛṣṇa! And you can imagine, while they are making those garlands—they take hours, it takes hours to make those—and then the offering goes. And Śrīla Prabhupāda wears it for a few hours. The Deities wear them for a few hours. But do the devotees who made them feel satisfied? Yeah, completely satisfied... Drawing from his clinical experience, he reveals why doing "all the right things" might not be working if they're done in the wrong order. This episode breaks down the neuroscience behind why nervous system regulation must come before heavy supplementation and detoxification protocols. Dr. Ebel explains the "neuro-gut" connection and provides a foundational approach that prioritizes healing from the inside out, challenging the common "more is better" mentality in natural health interventions.-----Links & Resources:Sign up for our free newsletter to get the latest articles, resources, and deeper dives into topics like supplements (exciting news coming soon!), gut health, and neurological healing—delivered straight to your inbox.Just head to pxdocs.com and scroll to the bottom of the page to sign up!Some of the supplement brands we trust from guests on our podcast: Ancient Nutrition (Dr. Jordan Rubin & Dr. Josh Axe)Naturally Nourished (Ali Miller RD)----Key Topics & Timestamps([00:00:00]) - The Supplement Overload Reality - Dr. Ebel introduces the controversial topic and shares how patient intake forms have shifted from medication lists to overwhelming supplement spreadsheets.([00:03:00]) - The Clinical Picture - Walking through actual patient paperwork to illustrate how supplement overload is creating stuckness and plateaus rather than healing progress.([00:08:00]) - Inside Out vs Outside In Philosophy - Breaking down the difference between true healing from within versus symptom-chasing with natural supplements that mimic the medical model.([00:18:00]) - Core Supplements vs Everything Else - Identifying the essential daily supplements (omega-3s, probiotics, vitamin D) versus the "punchy" detox agents that can harm dysregulated nervous systems.([00:23:00]) - The Neuro-Gut Science - Deep dive into the three-step process: absorption, assimilation, and detoxification, and why nervous system regulation controls all gut function.([00:30:00]) - Why Detox Can Backfire - Explaining how detoxification protocols can worsen symptoms in children with dysregulated, hypersensitive nervous systems.([00:35:00]) - The Right Sequence of Healing - Step-by-step action plan: nervous system regulation first, then foundational nutrition, then advanced supplement-- Follow us on Socials: Instagram: @pxdocs Facebook: Dr. Tony Ebel & The PX Docs Network Youtube: The PX Docs For more information, visit PXDocs.com to read informative articles about the power of Neurologically-Focused Chiropractic Care. Send us a textWelcome to this week's Friday 5. Today we're diving into the wellness trend of “fibermaxxing”—the push to load up on as much fiber as possible through powders, supplements, and diet hacks. While fiber is vital for microbiome diversity, blood sugar balance, and immune regulation, for those of us living with autoimmune conditions or fragile gut health, more isn't always better. In this episode, I'll share five key insights on how to approach fiber safely: why timing matters, how to avoid overwhelming your gut with powders, the role of hydration and digestion, and why slow, steady increases build resilience over time.If you've ever felt worse after “doing the right thing” with fiber, this episode will help you recalibrate and focus on the kind of gentle, sustainable gut support that actually promotes healing.Resources Mentioned in the Episode

Loneliness isn't just a passing emotion—it's a spiritual ache. In “Always Better Together,” we step into Solomon's reflections on injustice, isolation, and the redeeming gift of companionship. These verses echo the heartbreak of the oppressed and the futility of striving alone, yet they crescendo into one of Scripture's most tender reminders: “Two are better than one.”This episode unpacks the power of shared burdens, mutual encouragement, and the resilience that comes from unity. Whether you're tangled in toil, craving connection, or standing on the edge of burnout, there's strength in the simple truth that we were never meant to walk alone.

They also don't shy away from discussing the most significant controversies, including the projected impact on the federal deficit and the heated debate over state and local tax (SALT) deductions. Love Your Career Podcast? Let us know!Picture this: A poster of me, at the age of 16, modelling sunglasses in Hong Kong, looking glamorous with them perched stylishly on top of my head. Not protecting my eyes, just making a fashion statement. [Click this link to view my 1975 poster]Fast forward 50 years to last Wednesday, and I'm recovering from painful pterygium surgery with my bandaged eye, staring at that very poster on my wall. The irony? I spent decades with the solution literally on my head, just a few inches too high to do any good. What has this to do with Career Success? Listen to this compelling episode which will make you reflect on the choices we make early on in our lives and careers, and the consequences of bad choices (or avoiding what we must do for future success).Key takeaways from episode 274 of Your Career Podcast:1. Prevention is Always Better than the CureThe most striking lesson is how much easier, and less painful, it is to protect yourself proactively rather than fix problems later. My 1975 sunglasses story perfectly illustrates this: a simple daily habit of wearing eye protection could have prevented surgery, seven weeks of recovery, multiple medications, and significant pain. This applies to every area of life: career, health, relationships. 2. Physical Health and Career Success Are InseparableYou can't compartmentalise your wellbeing. When you're running on empty physically, you can't show up fully in your career. Job searching requires stamina, resilience, and clarity of mind. Career transitions demand energy for networking, interviewing, and decision-making. If you haven't been taking care of your foundation, sleep, nutrition, exercise, boundaries, you're essentially trying to climb Mount Everest with a broken ankle.3. Self-Care Is Strategic, Not SelfishThe biggest mindset shift is viewing self-care as protection rather than decoration. Just like networking shouldn't be something you only do when you need a job, taking care of yourself shouldn't be something you postpone until "things calm down." Your future self is counting on the choices you make today, and time moves faster than we think. What feels like a distant future becomes today in the blink of an eye - sometimes literally.Listen to my personal story which we all can relate to, especially those considering a career change when unprepared.  What will YOU do to ensure you don't leave your metaphorical sunglasses on top of your head instead of what they were designed to do?- - - - - - - - - -  >>> For career clarity and confidence, download Jane's career resources at janejacksoncoach.com Support the showFind out what you MUST DO to make a successful career change and land the job you'll LOVE.
