What do luxury buyers need to understand about owning on Amelia Island that most agents never explain? In this episode of the Real Estate Excellence Podcast, Tracy Hayes sits down with Leigh Howe. Leigh shares a career path that started far from traditional real estate. She moved from teaching, nursing, retail, and sales into land development and homebuilding after she and her husband took on a 100 acre project in Gainesville. That experience gave her deep knowledge in zoning, infrastructure, construction, customer selections, and the human side of real estate. She explains how surviving the housing crash and later the COVID era shaped her approach, eventually leading her to focus on retail real estate on Amelia Island where she could combine expertise with relationship driven service. Leigh then shifts into what makes Amelia Island so desirable and what it really takes to serve affluent buyers well. Leigh explains that luxury clients still need guidance, clarity, and confidence even when they are highly accomplished professionals. She talks about joining the right brokerage, learning the south end of the island, listening to other agents, building trust through referrals, asking better questions, and staying authentic instead of sounding overly sales driven. The episode also explores off market opportunities, AI in real estate, local ownership nuances, and why true value comes from knowledge, professionalism, and anticipating needs before clients even ask. Thinking about buying, selling, or investing on Amelia Island Reach out to Leigh Howe and start with a smart strategy before the next great property is gone. AI isn't about replacing people — it's about unlocking productivity and making customer experiences feel more human. On this episode of Right About Now, Ryan Alford sits down with Vinod Muthukrishnan, VP & GM of Webex Customer Experience at Cisco, to discuss how AI is transforming customer experience from fragmented interactions into continuous, context-driven conversations. Vinod explains why the purpose of AI in CX is not efficiency alone — it's humanization. From “concierge agents” that become the face of a brand to agentic systems that orchestrate complex multi-step requests across departments, this conversation explores the end of CX silos and the rise of intelligent, brand-aligned AI interfaces. They also tackle the real question everyone's asking: is AI taking jobs — or elevating them? Key Takeaways AI should make CX more human. Automation should enhance context, empathy, and continuity — not remove them. Context is the missing link in customer loyalty. Most brands reset conversations every time. AI fixes that. Concierge agents become the brand. They orchestrate backend systems while delivering one seamless customer conversation. Agentic AI moves beyond tasks. It executes complex, multi-step “jobs” across systems over time. AI won't replace humans — but AI-powered humans will win. Repetitive work declines. Strategic expertise rises. In this episode of BRAVE COMMERCE, Rachel Tipograph and Sarah Hofstetter sit down with Brian Gelb, Senior Vice President of Wine and Concierge at Total Wine & More, to unpack how a retailer is gaining share while the broader alcohol market faces headwinds. Brian shares how his military background shaped an “intent-based leadership” approach that pushes decision-making down, builds ownership, and requires teams to arrive with a recommendation, not just an issue. They also discuss what often breaks down between suppliers and retail partners, why bringing real customer insights to the table changes the quality of joint business planning conversations, and how Total Wine stays focused on service, selection, and sharp pricing, while expanding into non-alcoholic, THC-infused, and emerging functional beverage segments.Key takeawaysIntent-based leadership drives accountability by empowering teams to own decisions and defend their reasoning.Retailer–supplier alignment improves when both sides start with customer insights and shared strategy.Share growth in a challenging market comes from disciplined focus on experience, assortment, and price. In this episode of the Innovations and Clinical Implementation podcast recorded at LongevityFest, host Tom Blue interviews Harry Bane, CEO of Lifespan.MD, about a novel investment model for concierge medicine dubbed "Entrepreneurial Equity". Unlike traditional private equity that often focuses on cost-cutting, Bane explains that Lifespan.MD builds long-term partnerships with established physician-entrepreneurs, allowing them to retain clinical autonomy while leveraging shared infrastructure, AI technology, and a collaborative "brain trust" to drive organic growth rates of 30–40%. The conversation highlights the Company's origin story—born from a patient-doctor relationship—and its five core values, emphasizing how the model reinvigorates practitioners by turning their practices into tangible wealth assets through equity while solving critical succession planning and supply-demand challenges in the longevity sector. Nine years ago, Tiffany Casica helped a close friend buy his first condo. He was young and eager to invest, and today he owns several properties and still texts her about the next deal. That first transaction didn't just close a sale; it clarified the kind of real estate professional she intended to become.Raised in Bridgeport on Chicago's south side, Tiffany describes her brand with a simple phrase: “Everyone's got a guy for everything.” That mindset became her strategic advantage. She built a trusted network across industries, from inspectors and attorneys to stagers and pest control specialists, so when a client faces a problem, she already has the solution lined up.Before entering real estate full time, Tiffany worked as a paralegal handling transactions, which gave her a working knowledge of contracts, timelines, and risk management. Buying a home is emotional, but it is also technical and highly regulated. She combines empathy with structure, explaining, “I've always just been that hand holder,” especially during moments when clients feel overwhelmed. Her growth strategy is disciplined and clear. One hundred percent of her business is referral-based, with no paid ads or purchased leads. “It's important that my referral source is from another client who has worked with me, who has vetted me,” she says, a model that demands consistent performance because every deal impacts the next introduction.Tiffany operates across Chicago and the western suburbs, two markets with very different dynamics. In the suburbs, limited inventory means buyers often compete against four to eight offers, while city properties require precise pricing and positioning. Rather than restrict herself geographically, she adapts to her clients' goals, explaining, “I learned the area in which my clients want to buy or sell in because at the end of the day, I'm serving my client.”Her daily routine reflects that level of commitment. She begins with meditation and prayer, prepares breakfast for her five-and-a-half-year-old son, and fits in yoga before a schedule packed with showings, inspections, and appraisals. She jokes about living on pretzels and string cheese in her car, but the underlying message is clear: service requires stamina.Operationally, she multiplies her effectiveness through relationships. Her husband, an engineer with more than 20 years of experience, is now training as a home inspector, which adds technical depth when inspection reports reveal issues like mold or structural concerns. In one high-stress situation involving a bat in a client's fireplace hours before a brokers open, she called her cousin who owns a pest control company and resolved the issue quickly, preserving the listing and the timeline. The “Miss Concierge” label is not marketing language; it represents a system built on trusted resources and strong industry relationships. Tiffany views other brokers as teammates rather than competitors and protects referral partnerships by acting transparently. That reputation reinforces her referral engine and positions her as a reliable collaborator in complex transactions. For professionals entering real estate today, her advice centers on identity and integrity. “Be yourself. I think integrity matters more than anything,” she says, encouraging new agents to identify their strengths and specialize, whether that is marketing, serving elderly clients, or guiding first-time buyers. She continues investing in staging education and consistently hires professional stagers because she believes buyers need to feel the home immediately to justify top-dollar offers. What ultimately differentiates Tiffany is relational depth across generations. An 82-year-old client who downsized still stays in touch, while a 24-year-old investor calls about his next acquisition, illustrating that trust scales when service is consistent. She does not avoid difficult conversations either, noting, “I would rather have that tough conversation with you early on than set you up for failure down the road,” a philosophy that protects clients' time, money, and expectations.Tiffany is proud of her production, but she is equally proud of being a present wife and mother while running a demanding practice. “I'm really good at making people feel special,” she says, and in a referral-driven business, that skill becomes a durable competitive advantage.

Nextech3D.ai CEO Evan Gappelberg joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce the official launch of Eventdex AI Voice Concierge, a real-time AI voice automation layer embedded directly into the company's Eventdex platform. Gappelberg explained that Eventdex serves as the first deployment environment for the new AI voice infrastructure. However, the underlying AI Voice Concierge architecture has been designed for rollout across all three pillars of Nextech's enterprise ecosystem—Krafty Lab, Eventdex, and Map D—which together form the company's unified AI-powered Events Operating System (EOS) for enterprise engagement and event execution. The new capability is built on a scalable, modern technology stack integrating OpenClaw for voice orchestration, Twilio for telephony and PSTN connectivity, AWS EC2 for cloud deployment, and Pinecone as an intelligent retrieval layer. The infrastructure delivers low-latency, production-grade AI voice automation tailored specifically for enterprise event environments. Unlike traditional IVR systems, Eventdex AI Voice Concierge is a domain-specific AI voice layer trained for event workflows. It automates inbound event-support calls using natural voice interaction while maintaining seamless escalation to human agents when needed. Gappelberg described the approach as a “knowledge-first plus human escalation” model, ensuring operational efficiency without compromising enterprise service standards. By embedding AI directly into Eventdex workflows—including registration, attendee services, exhibitor management, and sponsor support—the company is targeting areas where support demand is time-sensitive, recurring, and measurable in terms of return on investment. The AI Voice Concierge will be offered as a premium AI support automation add-on within the Eventdex ecosystem, further expanding Nextech3D.ai's AI-driven enterprise automation capabilities. #proactiveinvestors #nextech3d.al #otcqx #nexcf #cse #ntar #Eventdex #AIVoiceConcierge #AIEventsOS #EnterpriseAutomation #VoiceAI #EventTechnology #AIAutomation #EnterpriseSoftware #KraftyLab #MapD #DigitalEvents #EventSupport #CloudInfrastructure #Twilio #AWSEC2 #PineconeAI #TechInnovation #SaaSExpansion #BusinessEfficiency

Travis is joined by fractional CFO Pam Jordan, who helps entrepreneurs understand their numbers and build profitable, sustainable businesses. Pam brings a data-driven lens to the Travis Makes Money podcast P&L, breaking down exactly how the show generated $450,000 in 2025 and what that really means after costs and profit margins. On this episode we talk about: How the Travis Makes Money podcast generated $450,000 in 2025 and the three revenue streams behind it (ads, coaching, concierge growth services). Why ad and sponsorship income made up 70% of revenue and how aggressive publishing (up to 2–3 episodes per day) drove those results. The role of podcast coaching as a 14% revenue stream and how Travis helps entrepreneurs launch and grow shows that drive business. Concierge growth services (16% of revenue) and how getting booked on other podcasts can lead to clients, book deals, and big opportunities. The true cost structure of the podcast (30% direct production costs, 20% advertising) and why a 35% net operating income makes this a healthy media business. Top 3 Takeaways You can build a real, profitable income directly from a podcast, but it typically takes years, consistent content, and a strategic approach to revenue (not just downloads). Publishing more frequently—paired with dynamic ad insertion—can dramatically increase total monthly impressions and sponsorship revenue, often faster than trying to grow downloads per episode. Podcasting is more than ad dollars; it's a business development engine that creates content, sharpens communication skills, builds relationships, and can lead to coaching, services, and other high-margin offers. Notable Quotes "For 2025, Travis Makes Money podcast brought in $450,000, and 70% of that was ads and sponsorship income." "It proved a really big thing to me, which is that it is possible to turn the podcast itself into a full-time income." "It's not what you make that matters, it's what you keep." Google's latest AI search updates are pushing the experience closer to a personalized travel concierge, blending answers, follow-up questions, and private context into a single planning flow. As more inspiration and decision-making happens inside Google's interface, travel brands face a tougher challenge staying visible — and differentiated — before a traveler ever clicks through. The 2026 FIFA World Cup is also reshaping expectations for corporate travel, with companies treating the tournament as a multi-city business platform rather than a single-event trip. From executive hosting to incentive travel, the opportunity is big — but so are the logistical risks tied to visas, borders, and timing across three countries. And at Kayak, a leadership change signals how much travel search itself is in flux. As longtime CEO Steve Hafner shifts focus toward AI innovation and a new chief takes the helm, the move underscores a broader transition in how travelers compare options and move from question to decision. On today's Skift Daily Briefing, Sarah Dandashy breaks down what these stories say about personalization, event-driven travel, and the future of search in the travel industry. Host John Collins sits down with award-winning investigative journalist Brian Joseph to discuss his provocative new book, Vegas Concierge: Sex Trafficking, Hip Hop, and Corruption in America. The conversation explores the complex realities of sex trafficking through the lens of Brian's reporting and his in-depth investigation into the story of hip-hop music producer Molly Maul. Brian shares insights from his career as a freelance reporter and the challenges he faced bringing this book to market, including the publishing industry's reluctance to engage with difficult—but necessary—topics. Together, John and Brian examine how societal stereotypes, entertainment norms, and systemic failures often obscure the stories and struggles of trafficking victims. They highlight the danger of glamorizing "pimp culture," particularly in popular media, and call for greater public education, empathy, and accountability. The justice system's response to trafficking is inadequate and lacks institutional support for survivors, often misplacing focus on perpetrators over victims. Brian makes the case for victim-centered reform and more responsible storytelling, both in journalism and in society at large. From Las Vegas tourism to hip-hop culture to criminal prosecution, this wide-ranging conversation reveals how deep and entrenched the problem of sex trafficking remains—and what must change to confront it. Episode Summary By Concierge Medicine Today JANUARY 2026 - Concierge medicine and direct primary care didn't just grow — they surged more than 80% in five years. Headlines are spinning this as a threat to access and equity. But is that the full story? In this episode, the Editor-In-Chief of the industry's trade publication, Concierge Medicine Today, author and Host, Michael Tetreault, breaks down the latest national research and explains what's really happening beneath the surface. This isn't about luxury medicine. It's about physician burnout, broken reimbursement models, administrative overload, and doctors quietly redesigning their careers to survive. You'll hear why this shift is less about "escaping responsibility" and more about reclaiming sustainability, why corporate ownership is rising fast, and why concierge medicine didn't create the primary care shortage — it exposed it. If you care about the future of medicine, physician retention, and building healthcare that actually works, this conversation matters.

News: This February, Disney California Adventure will turn 25! To celebrate this milestone, Magic Key holders can pick up a magnet set commemorating the event. This will be part of a “Fun and Sun” event area that offers nostalgic photo opportunities, encounters with “familiar friends,” and more. The event will take place in the Hyperion Theater Courtyard near Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout. Key holders will need to join a virtual queue in the Disneyland app to access the area. This will be available from 2pm to 8pm February 5th through February 15th. – https://www.laughingplace.com/disney-parks/magic-key-disney-california-adventure-25th-event/ It is almost that time of year again when Disney California Adventure celebrates Lunar New Year! 2026 is the Year of the Horse, so Horace Horsecollar will be included in the festivities. Returning this year is all the Lunar New Year food, which we will cover in SnackChat, Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession, and Hurry Home – A Lunar New Year Celebration, which is a pre-show for Wold of Color – Happiness. – https://www.micechat.com/429670-disneyland-update-holiday-exit-shoulder-season-scramble-monorail-mishegoss/ https://www.laughingplace.com/disney-parks/magic-key-lunar-new-year-2026-offerings/ On October 26, 1926, a very popular bear arrived on the scene to eat as much honey as possible. Avengers Campus is also continuing to make progress, with more structural steel being installed. – https://www.micechat.com/429670-disneyland-update-holiday-exit-shoulder-season-scramble-monorail-mishegoss/ In the first of a couple of stories related to attractions having bad days, the Disneyland Monorail lost power on January 8th, which resulted in guests needing to be evacuated by the Anaheim Fire Department. Discover Lafayette welcomes Heather Borges, owner of Bee Organized Lafayette, a professional organizing and life-transition company serving the Lafayette area. January is National Organizing Month, and this first conversation of 2026 kicks off the new year with practical insight into why organization is so personal and so powerful. Heather shares her path from nursing to professional organizing. A graduate of UL-Lafayette in 2009, she spent 16 years as a nurse, including work as a dialysis nurse, in home health, and as a school nurse for Lafayette Parish for 11 years. Heather explains that home health nursing, in particular, exposed her to how people actually live in their homes and how clutter can affect safety and daily functioning. Burned out after COVID but still wanting to serve with compassion, she began researching professional organizing and discovered Bee Organized, a nationally based franchise that is locally owned and operated. After years of prayer and discernment, she made the leap, supported by her family and husband, calling it a step away from security but toward purpose. Heather describes Bee Organized as a tight knit franchise community based out of Kansas City, Kansas, with regular Zoom meetings and a strong culture of encouragement. She explains that the company's approach is grounded in compassion, sustainability, and truly understanding how each client functions in their space. As she puts it, “We're not just going to make things look pretty on the shelf. We're really listening to you and seeing how you function, how you want it to function.” A recurring theme of the conversation is how overwhelmed people feel by their belongings. Heather says many clients tell her they feel paralyzed, explaining, “They go into the room, and then they just back out and close the door… ‘I can't. I don't know where to start.'” Her response is reassurance and process: “Nope, we got it. We are going to help you go through it.” Bee Organized prefers clients to be present during sessions so the systems created are realistic and maintainable. “Our goal is for you to be able to maintain it,” she says. Heather walks through Bee Organized's complimentary in-home consultation process, where she assesses personalities, volume of belongings, and how a client wants a space to work. She emphasizes that square footage alone doesn't tell the story: “A 1,400-square-foot home may have double the stuff as the 1,400-square-foot home across the street.” During consultations, she takes notes, photos, and measurements, and provides an estimate within 24 hours. She also offers flexible options for those who prefer to send photos or videos instead of an in-person visit. A key part of Bee Organized's philosophy is recognizing different organizing personalities. Heather explains several types, including the “Crammer Jammer Stacker,” which she describes as “organized chaos,” where someone has a lot in one space but knows exactly where everything is. She also discusses the “Aspire,” who buys supplies for hobbies they hope to do someday; the “Just in Case” person who stocks up out of caution; the “Memory Keeper,” who holds onto sentimental items; and the “Money Minded,” who struggles to part with expensive purchases. These insights help her team, called “the Bees,” approach each job with empathy and strategy. Some of the most moving moments come when Heather talks about memory-based organizing. She shares stories of helping clients preserve meaning without forcing them to discard cherished items. One example involved turning her own late grandfather's Western shirts into teddy bears for grandchildren, with the remaining shirts donated to a nursing home. “We do not force you to get rid of things because those memories are special to you,” she says. Bee Organized also offers keepsake boxes, memory albums, T-shirt quilts, and access to a local vendor list to support these projects. Beyond home organization, Bee Organized Lafayette provides packing and unpacking for moves, downsizing support, commercial organization for spaces like coffee shops and spas, donation drop-offs, help selling items online, and pre-estate-sale organization. Heather notes, “We're not an estate sale company… we're charging you our hourly rate,” emphasizing transparency and flexibility. Concierge services include holiday decorating, gift wrapping, personal shopping, and seasonal setup and takedown. Heather also shares practical advice listeners can use immediately. One of her favorite tips is the “this-and-that bucket,” where items that accumulate during the day go into one container and must be dealt with within 24 hours. “Everything has a home,” she repeats throughout the conversation, explaining that visual clutter often becomes mental clutter. She encourages people to finish the task of grocery shopping by putting groceries away, rather than leaving them on the counter to become a source of stress. Reflecting on what surprised her most about this work, Heather says she didn't expect the emotional impact. “I've had people cry, and they tell me they can breathe again.” She describes seeing clients feel lighter, calmer, and energized by their spaces, sometimes comparing the experience to a “fresh start.” Heather invites listeners to take advantage of National Organizing Month in January and begin decluttering, one space at a time. Bee Organized Lafayette can be reached at https://beeorganized.com/pages/lafayette or you can call Heather at (337) 341-2025. As Heather reminds us, “One box at a time. One spot at a time.”
