Coming Up Higher was created by sister singer-songwriters, authors, and worship leaders, Alicia & Whitney. The sisters have learned through their personal relationships with Jesus and through ministering around the world that atmospheres and environments are crucial in hosting the Presence of God. They have a passion for teaching others how to shift their personal atmospheres and environments through practical, everyday situations so that everyone can position themselves to hear God's voice, know their purpose, and live a life of habitation with the Father.

Ever feel like you're stuck in a certain way of thinking? As humans, we tend to be drawn to the negative side of things. We often worry and contemplate what could go wrong in our situations. This is why the Bible tells us in various ways to think a new thought. Romans 12:2 declares, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Psychology describes how when we think a thought, a neuropathway is created. The more often we continue thinking that thought, the more easily the neuropathway becomes to travel. This means we can easily become stuck in an old way of thinking without even realizing it. Listen as Alicia & Whitney talk about renewing your mind in Christ, and determine to think a new thought today!
Before the world labeled you, before your failures and your successes - or anything else for that matter - God knew you and formed you in your mother's womb for a purpose. Then life happens, and we allow the external factors and the opinions of others to surround the true core of who God created us to be, causing us to forget who we truly are. This episode is here to encourage you to begin the journey of allowing the Father in, to peel back the layers of hurt, fear, and disappointment, and discover what you're made of and how He's provided everything we need to live the life He's called us to lead. Let's go back to the core!
