In this brutally honest solo episode, I unpack what's been the most stressful month of my life—losing my apartment, unresolved medical issues, financial pressure, and trying to prep for a 100-miler I haven't even packed for. Oh yeah, and I'm attempting a self-supported Appalachian Trail FKT in less than a month. No big deal. But it's not all chaos. I reflect on the finite nature of miles, what "best" really means, and why shared suffering for the wrong reasons is never worth it. I read from Mike Versteeg's powerful Colorado Trail FKT post and explore how ego, purpose, and community collide in our outdoor pursuits. If you've ever questioned the "why" behind your adventures—or what you're asking others to carry for your dreams—this one's worth a listen.Mike Versteeg's Colorado Trail: https://satisfyrunning.com/blogs/possessed/colorado-trail-fkt-field-notesChapters00:00 Navigating Life's Challenges01:30 The Finite Nature of Miles06:08 Lessons from Failure and Community09:44 Embracing Adventure Amidst Uncertainty

A simple definition of Eminent Domain is when the Government uses its power to acquire or seize private property. This may be like land or a house with the intent to use that property for something that helps the public. Compensation (that means money) is offered but what could be long some of the lasting impacts to the seller? Current market value does not necessarily equate to long term appreciate or loss of value on remaing value to private property. That is what the Real Siblings discuss on their latest episode. Donna Reed and Eric Seemann are both professional real estate agents. Donna lives and works in Tucson Arizona with Keller Williams Southern Arizona while Eric lives and works in San Antonio Texas with Keller Williams Heritage. They are also siblings, and they grew up in a small Northwest Ohio village of Lindsey. Their idyllic small-town childhood laid the foundation for what would become the structure of their lives and careers in real estate. We hope you will join us as we reminisce, reflect, and correlate how our childhood and life in rural Ohio still impacts our dealings with our clients today. My guest today is Dr. Tina Peers, a UK-based naturopathic holistic practitioner with extensive experience treating long Covid, vaccine-related injuries, and mast cell activation syndrome. With over 40 years of clinical experience, Tina was early to identify the role of spike protein toxicity and immune dysregulation in post-Covid illness. In this episode, we explore how she helped patients recover using simple over-the-counter treatments at a time when public health authorities had not yet acknowledged the issue. Tina shares her own vaccine injury story, the rise in autoimmune and neurological conditions she has seen in her clinic, and a promising detox protocol using augmented NAC to help clear spike protein from the body. This is a must listen for anyone seeking answers to unexplained post-Covid symptoms or injuries following the jab. In the 893rd episode of the PokerNews Podcast, Chad Holloway, Mike Holtz, and Kyna England celebrate Jeff Madsen's 40th birthday before talking about two poker players who murdered their parents. Recently in Texas, Benjamin Frakes, 39, was taken into custody at Doghouse Poker Club in Cypress, a town 25 miles northwest of Downtown Houston. He was charged with capital murder for allegedly shooting his parents. The tragic situation was reminiscent of poker player Ernie Scherer, who was convicted in 2011 of killing his parents in an elaborate plot to collect an inheritance. It's a true crime story that's been featured on 48 Hours but often overlooked by the poker world, that is, until the crew takes a look back in history and shares details of the horrific crime. Chad then offers a behind-the-scenes look at Daniel Negreanu's 25K Fantasy Draft, including an interview with the man himself, before recapping recent tournament winners from the Triton Montenegro, including Jesse Lonis, Jason Koon, and Aleksa Pavicevic. Other stories covered include the return of the PokerStars Big Game and a preview of the Bar Poker Open coming to the Golden Nugget Las Vegas from June 8-13.
