The Holy Spirit is God's Presence with us as our Helper, Comforter, Teacher, and Source of supernatural power. He is the key to experiencing the abundant life promised to us.

Demons are like mosquitoes; they don't read signs. The moment they see an opening, they enter. What opens doors to demons? Sin. Fear. Anger. But a stronghold is how they stay. Strongholds are developed by how we think, and demons feed on the negative thoughts in our minds. That's why we're called to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Hell must pack up and leave.

Many believers live near the Kingdom of God without ever feeling at home in it. We know the language and the expectations, yet wonder whether we've done enough to actually belong. Come and discover what it means to live from a settled place of belonging rather than for it.

We all face giants in our lives – seemingly-impossible situations, surmounting problems and fears of the uncertain. As we shift our perspective from the size of the problem to the greatness of God, we begin to know the One who overcomes for us and leads us into victory!

In 1978, the late Evangelist Dr. Billy Graham preached at the Singapore National Stadium for 5 days, and over 337,000 people attended. That's about 10% of the total population of 3 million then. After the crusade, Christianity went up by about 4%, resulting in a tipping point for the Christian faith. He gave a word that Singapore would be the ‘Antioch of Asia'. What does that mean and how can we become the ‘Lion of the East'?

Lazarus and Singapore – what could they possibly have in common? John 11 is more than the story of Lazarus – it holds a prophetic message for Singapore today. The tomb is not the end, the stone will not have the final word. God is calling us from success to significance, and from blessing to becoming a blessing. Singapore's remarkable rise was never the destination, but God's preparation for a greater Kingdom assignment.

In the world today, we're constantly bombarded with endless notifications, opinions, demands, and distractions that compete for our attention. It's easy to mistake busyness for fruitfulness and activity for intimacy with God. What if the breakthrough you're longing for isn't found in doing more, but in becoming still? What if the clarity you've been seeking is waiting in the quiet?

My friend, J John says, “God is not willing that any should perish, so He devises ingenuous ways to reach them.” John 4, the story of the Samaritan woman, is one of them. It's an EPIC story – a masterclass in Evangelism where the Master Himself demonstrates how to fish. Interestingly, that was the longest recorded conversation Jesus had with anyone in the Bible. Food for thought?

Biblical fasting isn't about dieting, but discipleship. It's about dethroning the flesh, denying unhealthy cravings, and feasting on the Presence and the Word of God instead. When we exchange natural for spiritual food, our appetites are reordered, strongholds are broken, and God's power is released in our lives. When our stomachs no longer rule us, the Spirit can.

The size of a church is not a good indicator of how healthy it is. God anoints His Church for increase, not by sheer numbers or size, but by the quality of disciples trained and thrust forth into the harvest field. May our goal not be to grow a big church, but a big people!

We often celebrate fruitfulness as the mark of a life well-lived. Yet in John 15, Jesus reveals that fruitfulness is not the finish line but the beginning of a deeper work. As we remain in the Vine, God continues to shape, refine and transform us in ways we may not expect. Perhaps the greatest work of God begins where we think the journey ends.

Think back to the time when you first received the revelation of God's call and destiny; the realisation that He had a plan for your life. Your divine assignment often comes when you're young or young in the faith. God prophetically shows you what you'll do many years before you're activated to do it. Then He puts in a key, turns it, and activates what He had already deposited in you many years before.

Friendship isn't optional, it's God's design. In a world facing an epidemic of loneliness, Scripture reveals that godly friendships are essential not only for our joy, but for our spiritual and emotional well-being. Even Jesus chose to live in community, embracing friendship despite the risk of disappointment and betrayal. In Mark 7, as the Lord was exposing the wickedness of men's hearts, one of the evils He mentioned was the ‘Evil Eye'. Jesus made it clear that you cannot serve both God and mammon. One will have your devotion and the other will compete for your heart. The God who freely gave His Son invites us to trust Him completely and live with open hands.

When crisis emerges, faith can retreat into the realm of intellect with little expectation of God's intervention. Yet in such moments, God preserves a faithful remnant by restoring clarity, recovering truth that renews both dependence on Him and the experience of His power.

John 3:16 is perhaps the most well-known verse in the Bible, yet some of the deepest truths are often found in the passages we think we know best. Within these familiar words is a revelation many overlook – not just of the Son who was given, but of the Father who gave Him. Rediscover a verse we know so well and the Father we may know so little of.

What happens if we truly lived empowered by the Holy Spirit every day? Heaven is inviting us to step out in faith, embrace our Kingdom authority, and become the hands and feet of Jesus beyond the four walls of church.

The Holy Spirit empowers and emboldens us by those who have gone before to persevere and boldly testify to God's glory in every generation. This is a powerful call to rise above distraction and live as faithful witnesses of Christ.

There are many doors that we'll encounter in our lifetime. They come in every shape, size, and form, and each leads down a certain pathway. Some to great joy and fulfilment, others to pain and disappointment. We need to learn the wisdom of how to go through the correct door.

Pentecost is more than a moment in history - it's an ongoing invitation by the Holy Spirit to surrender our hearts to Him. God meets us in our weakness, fills us with His power, and calls us to live as bold witnesses of Jesus.

Faith is not empty religion but confident trust in God's promises. As we fix our eyes on Jesus and follow His leading, He empowers us to persevere and live with purpose.

There's more to the Holy Spirit than what many believers have encountered. Isaiah 11:2 unveils a sevenfold expression of the Spirit of God – the Spirit of the Lord, wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord. When believers live in the fullness and power of the Spirit, the evidence in our lives becomes supernatural. The Church cannot help but be different, and the world cannot help but notice. We need the sevenfold Spirit of God fully operating in our lives.

Every morning, the same miracle appeared on the ground. Yet Israel failed the test of monotony. What was once miraculous slowly became ordinary; somewhere between repetition and routine, wonder faded and appetite drifted elsewhere. But the wilderness story pointed to something greater that would unfold centuries later before another hungry crowd. In a generation constantly chasing variety, perhaps the deeper question is not what fills you… but what truly satisfies.

Scripture reminds us to ‘honour your father and mother', attaching to it a promise of long life. But true honour goes beyond perfection, and is forged in the tension of loving and honouring someone despite their flaws. Uncover the powerful biblical story of a woman once marked by barrenness yet remembered for her relentless prayer life and unwavering faith. Psalm 68 is a magnificent psalm that depicts God as the warrior-king. It begins with the battle cry of Moses, “Let God arise and all His enemies be scattered”. But verse 11 is pivotal. It says, “The Lord gave the word and great was the company that proclaimed it”. The word for ‘company' is in the feminine gender, and I'm certain that women will play a pivotal role in what God is doing in the last days, especially the MOTHERS.

Not everything that works is God's way. Sometimes the danger is not rebellion but doing the right thing the wrong way. In one of Scripture's most sobering stories, we uncover the clash between human method and divine order. When convenience competes with covenant, the question is not whether it works – but whether it aligns with what God has written.

True wisdom is not just intelligence or experience – it's the fear of the Lord, the ability to discern rightly, and the grace to make choices that honour God. When we allow wisdom to shape our thoughts and direct our steps, we avoid unnecessary battles, walk in peace, and position ourselves for God's favour.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know we're entering into a season of conflict. Scriptures say, ‘First the natural, then the spiritual.' Jesus predicted this when He said we'll hear of wars and rumours of wars. What is God saying? How do we prepare for this time of conflict, remembering that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of darkness.

We were not only created to worship, but to carry a prophetic sound, a Spirit-inspired expression that goes beyond songs and becomes a declaration of heaven's will on earth. When we worship prophetically, we don't just respond to what we see; we proclaim what God is saying. Every believer is called to release prophetic soundwaves - worship that transforms environments, awakens hearts, and invites the Presence of God to move.

King Uzziah's life reveals a sobering truth — what lifts you can also undo you. He sought the Lord and prospered greatly, but strength slowly turned inward, and what was once a blessing became a risk. Pride overstepped its boundaries, and resisting correction led to downfall. His story reminds us — it's not the rise that defines you, but whether you remain yielded to the One who raised you.

Brokenness is not final, but a birthing place of God's purpose and divine redemption. He can take suffering and darkness and transform it into a testimony of love and restoration. Our pain is not wasted when we surrender to Him. It serves as a catalyst for a fresh release of the Holy Spirit's power in our lives.

The resurrection of Christ is the foundation of a renewed hope and new life. Because He conquered death, we're offered freedom, redemption, and a restored relationship with God. Our past no longer defines who we are, and our future is filled with hope.

You've found the greatest answer in life, now what? The Gospel is too good to keep to ourselves. From our neighbourhoods to the nations, God's mission has never changed – to seek and save the lost. Evangelism doesn't start in a pulpit; it starts in everyday life. Step into your role, share your story, and be part of God's plan to reach the lost. Your mission field is closer than you think.

Not since the scandals of tele-evangelists like Jim Bakker and Jimmy Swaggert in the 1980s, to the more recent ‘failed' prophecies of Donald Trump's re-election, and now the exposé of men like Shawn Bolz, Mike Bickle, and a host of other lesser names, has the Church (especially Pentecostals and Charismatics), come under such a barrage of criticism. I don't have all the answers, but I can give a response from a biblical point of view.

Praying with our Spirit goes beyond intellectual prayers to deep, heart-to-heart communion with God. If your prayer life is dry and stagnant, perhaps what you need is to move beyond human logic and tap into the Holy Spirit's guidance.  

Being a witness for God should become a part of our lives when we're filled with His Spirit. The key is partnering with Him and allowing the Holy Spirit to express His love and compassion to those around us, resulting in acts of kindness and works of miracles.

There are ‘2 Sams' in the Bible – Samuel the prophet, the first Judge of Israel; and Samson the mighty man of God, the last judge of Israel. They share amazing similarities. Both sons had an amazing start; one ended well, the other not so. The question is – which Sam do you want to be?
