Many Asians grow up in a culture where it's hard to receive compliments or to praise those close to us, like our family member or spouse. When you become fully alive in God's purpose, it doesn't reduce the people around you; it inspires them! Let's deal with this 'paiseh' culture and expose the roots of it.

King Jehoash had God's promise of victory but stopped striking too soon, losing his full breakthrough. Three kinds of Christians emerge from this story: those who strike a little and quit, those who press halfway, and those who keep striking until God says stop. 60 years ago, Singapore was a sleepy trading outpost of the British empire at only 736 sq. km in size; with no natural resource, farmland, nor hinterland. Today, Singapore is a 1st world nation with a GDP of US$501 billion in 2023, ranked by IMF as the 4th richest nation per capita GDP in the world. WHY has God blessed us so richly, and in such a short time? How is this all tied to our call as an Antioch for Asia?

Doubt is inevitable, but it doesn't have to define us. In “When In Doubt, Do This”, we learn from David's life to seek God first, take the higher road, and anchor our hearts in His goodness. Even in our darkest moments, God hears, delivers, and redeems.

Singapore is not called ‘Lion City' by accident or coincidence – but because of our destiny. When my mom passed away recently, it came as a shock because she was so alive. At her wake, there were hardly any tears, but an overpowering sense of victory. The Apostle Paul said, “Absent from the body, present with the Lord.” We knew she was rejoicing in the Presence of her Saviour and surrounded by a company of saints. This whole episode has had me thinking about the common fate of mankind and what we need to do to prepare for it.

It's important as Christians to know what awaits us when we pass from this life. We'll all stand before the Judgement Seat of Christ, and everything in our lives will undergo the forensic evaluation of Him whose eyes are like a flame of fire. He's not looking to disqualify, but qualify us. If the living only know what the dead do, the whole earth would follow Jesus Christ!

In Revelation 2:20, Jesus said to the church in Thyatira, “I have this against you, that you TOLERATE that woman Jezebel who calls herself a prophetess”. The church had a false prophetess ministering freely in the congregation, and while the leadership knew there was something 'off', they tolerated her. How do we deal with such cases in the light of God's Word?

One of the great lessons we learn from the Book of Job and the life of Peter is, the devil cannot do anything he wants in your life, ANYTIME he wants to. This is because there's a hedge and a bloodline around you he can't trespass. That's why he seeks to deceive you first. There were four mentions in Scriptures regarding the parting of waters – four biblical dimensions of breakthrough that enable us to overcome the waters of impossibility. God is inviting us to partner with Him in the last days and operate in The Breaker Anointing to break the waters of chaos around us.

Isaiah 54 is a powerful promise of God's redeeming love — just as relevant today as it was 2,700 years ago. Through this prophecy and personal testimonies of His restoration, be encouraged by how God brings beauty from ashes, and multiplies what was once barren, all for His glory.

Like King Josiah who rediscovered the Word and led a national return to the Lord, we're called to tear down idols and prepare the way for God's move. This message urges us to travail in prayer, contend in the Spirit, and align with heaven's cry for revival.

Lamentations 3:22–23 speaks of God's endless mercy and unwavering faithfulness in every corner of our lives. Yet in Luke 16, Jesus reveals an unexpected path to greatness and divine promotion – one that defies the world's obsession with the spectacular. What if the key to God's reward is not found in the obvious, but in what is easily overlooked? Sometimes, what seems least significant carries the greatest eternal weight.

The role of women has always been a highly-debated subject, not just in society, but also in the Church. In Scriptures, when the Apostle Paul said that women should be silent in the church and take a subordinate place, did he mean that they're not supposed to teach or minister? What does God's Word really teach on this and what is the role of women in the Body? 

Unlike the English language, the Greek word for ‘Love' refers to the highest form of love – the John 3:16 kind. It shows not just HOW MUCH God loves us (quantity), but HOW UNRELENTING His love is (quality). This is the kind of love He wants us to show to a world that so desperately needs the God-kind of love. 

In Luke 18, the blind man's miracle started by hearing, not seeing. True revelation isn't about head knowledge, but about hearts and ears open to Jesus. In our darkest moments, what we need most is His Presence, and that comes when we humble our hearts before Him. When we cry out in faith, He stands still, meets us, and brings the breakthrough we long for.

The Cross is more than a moment in history – it changed its course, recalibrated time, and redeemed our future. Once a symbol of curse, it now stands as the ultimate symbol of God's love through Jesus Christ. His all-sufficient sacrifice fulfilled the Old Covenant and ushered in the New. His work is complete, but our response is one of continual transformation. What was once a distant hope is now a living reality – this is the Cross that carries me.

John 4:35 states, “Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!” There's a great urgency for the Lord of the Harvest to thrust forth labourers. Revival is always unto the harvest and the harvest is unto the Marantha cry, “Come Lord Jesus, come!” This global harvest is going to be unto His Second Coming. Will you be in or out?

The God we serve is a miraculous debt-busting God who wants to break you free from your cycle of debt. He wants you to know the He has the power to bring you out and keep you in debt-free living. But there are some powerful principles we need to observe that will enable us to live in this freedom!

1 Kings 18 is a remarkable chapter that reveals two distinct yet equally powerful answers to Elijah's prayers. First, there was the dramatic showdown on Mount Carmel, where fire fell from heaven and silenced the prophets of Baal. Then, in stark contrast, a small cloud – no bigger than a man's hand – brought a mighty downpour, ending Israel's drought. God's fire isn't confined to the spectacular; it also ignites in the quiet moments, showing that His power is at work, even in the most subtle ways.

There's a tug of war between the kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of God. One of the footholds the enemy seeks to conquer and overcome is the high places. He who controls the high places wields the influence and power over culture, society, and systems. We must know the hour of the Lord so as to be effective in moving together with Him in taking these high places.

Fear can break relationships, but the fear of the Lord strengthens and reinforces them. When we honour God through our relationships and marriages, we reflect His love and purpose for unity. 

When God designed marriage, it was His masterpiece meant to be a prophetic testimony to the world – reflecting Christ's love for the Church. Just as a husband loves his wife, so Christ loves His bride, and the wife, in turn, mirrors the Church's devotion to Him. A legal certificate may confirm your marriage, but is it truly thriving? Many couples, especially those married for years, settle into routine or mere survival. But a healthy marriage requires intentional effort and commitment. A powerful reminder this Valentine's Day weekend!

Victory isn't always about standing on a podium, defeating an opponent, or gaining worldly recognition. True victory often goes unnoticed, emerging instead in the valleys of life. It's in these low places that resilience is tested, surrender is embraced, and humility is developed. Finding joy in the midst of trials offers a profound perspective on triumph, reminding us that the greatest victories are not visible to others, but are found from aligning our hearts with God's purpose.

We must make much about the Blood. There's wonder working power in His Blood and this power has not waned in more than 2,000 years! There's more power in one drop of Christ's Blood than there is in the whole kingdom of satan!

The Prophet Haggai prophesied that God will shake everything that can be shaken. He'll shake the heavens and the earth; and He'll shake ALL nations, starting with the financial markets. The current financial system is based on unjust weights and balances, greed and covetousness, and an insatiable appetite for more. God will judge this and it's inevitable. Will this be replaced with a new world order? And will it pave the way for the rise of an antichrist system? What will the final world order look like?
