This episode will focus on the early 2000's, looking specifically on the release of Ang Lee's Brokeback Mountain (2005). Particular attention will be made to exploring the reasons as to why the presence of male bisexuality was largely omitted from the discourse surrounding Brokeback Mountain, both from mainstream film critics and contemporary academics, identifying the film as a turning point in the repudiation of the male bisexual from mainstream American films.
