Arsenal's Champions League dream ended in heartbreak to PSG 3-1 on aggregate. Despite a performance brimming with courage and pride.Trailing by a goal from the first leg, Arsenal stormed out of the blocks, pinning PSG back and forcing Gianluigi Donnarumma into a string of spectacular saves. Declan Rice, Gabriel Martinelli, and Martin Ødegaard all came agonizingly close, but it was the hosts who struck first-Fabián Ruiz's deflected rocket leaving David Raya helpless and deepening Arsenal's mountain to climb. The second half saw Raya briefly revive hope, denying Vitinha from the penalty spot, but PSG's Achraf Hakimi soon dashed those dreams with a ruthless finish to double the lead. Still, the Gunners refused to wilt. Bukayo Saka pulled one back, and moments later blazed over with the goal at his mercy, as Arsenal pushed desperately for a miracle that never came. The final whistle brought devastation, but also pride. Arsenal's young side fought until the end, showing the heart and belief that defines this club. They leave Paris with heads held high, knowing they stood toe-to-toe with Europe's elite. This is the Arsenal-brave, relentless, and always dreaming.

Hello Rank Squad! We have our Champions League finalists, after PSG joined Inter in the showpiece event by beating Arsenal 2-1 at the Parc des Princes to progress 3-1 on aggregate. The game might not have had the verve and sparkle of Tuesday's semi, but there was plenty to discuss all the same here on UCL Takeaway. Arsenal started fast, but couldn't find the killer blow to leave the tie in the balance - thanks to some particularly impressive goalkeeping once again from Gigi Donnarumma in the PSG net - and then Fabian Ruiz landed a killer jab of his own, striking home from the edge of the box after Arsenal failed to clear a set piece. Vitinha missed a (very harsh) penalty, before Achraf Hakimi made it 2-0 with a striker's finish, and whilst Bukayo Saka pulled one back and Arsenal had their chances to find a leveller, it was Luis Enrique's charges who saw the game out, with no finishing flourish from his former apprentice Mikel Arteta in the other dugout. We discuss the game, as well as where it leaves Arsenal ahead of this summer, whether PSG's transformation into the team we have seen in recent months makes them favourites for the final, whether João Neves is a N'Golo Kante regen, where Arsenal need to upgrade to reach that next level, and loads more besides. It's Ranks! And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?

Wart ihr generell schon mal auf einer Demo? Setzt ihr euch anderweitig gegen Ungerechtigkeiten ein? Habt ihr Angst vor Konsequenzen, wenn ihr auf die Straße geht? Greetings once more in love, light, and wisdom as one. Ashtar gets the second side started and the questions from Raya and I were on the date of twelve twelve that was fast approaching and how it would affect the human race. He confirmed there would be a change in the energy and changes of any kind are part of our advancement as a species. One of our other guests attending in Lake Tahoe brought up a question about sharing energy. He explains how energy is given off by everything and it is there to be used and manipulated. As usual he is a busy person and is off to whatever was scheduled next which brings Tia back to channel for a while. After agreeing to visit Raya when she visited from the base in her astral form, we end the phone call and learn the only person left is Tia. We discuss how Ashtar teaches by using both knowledge and actions. Part of that is the testing of shields that can take place at any point when he is channeling and could be seen during a question of mine. I accept the lesson and Tia makes way for Kiri in the channeling field set up in the pyramid in the backyard where they all live. Kiri is pregnant at the time with Alex and relates the weirdness of her body superimposed on Mark's. We have a guest as a friend she has come closer and they discuss our guest's future as a possible lawyer someday. The three girls have fun talking while I make tea and one of them get some clothing design advice from the expert. She finishes by hinting at her delivery date which it appeared may fall on the birthday of both Mark and myself. Karra then takes her sister's place and helps me with some questions on the genetics the two of us were doing in Atlantis where we manipulated the human DNA at the time with that of some of the races who had settled on Atlantis. It's after that we learned that every language on earth has six words in each one and Karra confirms that they have Sirian equivalents which are commands. It brings up a lot of questions on how they could be used but weren't asked at the time. Instead, Karra quotes Lord of the Rings and talks about our good friend Carrie who had moved away and become a missionary for the light as she puts it. We wrap up the session with her cautions to prepare for a changing future. These preparations include improving on healing skills, drying and storing of herbs and being fiscally responsible. Good advice in any decade and a great channeling session for the Ashtar Command archives. For full transcripts of this session and more information about Hades Base and the 6th dimension, please visit our website: http://hadesbasenews.com The sessions lasted from 1992 to 2001 with this one being taped on 12/09/1993. Side two includes: 1.)(0:00)- Ashtar honors us again to help with questions about the date twelve twelve and the advancement of humanity. We learn that energy is in everything and is there to be used and manipulated. 2.)(7:28)- Tia agrees to visit our friend in Sedona in her astral form soon and go over the Ashtar's time channeling. She explains that even when answering questions he can be testing shields at the same time. 3.)(12:05)- Kiri is amazed at the feeling of being pregnant while channeling and she finds the strangeness remarkable. Things are much more at ease as the topics turn to clothing and her delivery date. 4.)(18:36)- Karra and I revisit a an older life in Atlantis where her and I were geneticists and Mark was an estranged brother. When then learn of the six words in every language we learn are Sirian commands.
Greetings in love, light, and wisdom as one. We often use the words great and important to describe the channeling sessions we post monthly so now we come to one where we have to use both. This channeling session for May from the members of Ashtar Command, including Ashtar himself, certainly qualifies being both great and important. While Tia gets everyone settled in to place for the first minute or two, it is Omal who then uses up all of side one answering questions from a friend of ours in Sedona named Raya. I left my notes for everyone at work so Omal spent most the time answering her questions. My connection with Raya went back to the original channel of Omal and Korton named Roger Pinion who comes up in the conversation. I was a part of a group with her and twelve other members who had private sessions with Roger before he left Sedona. Fate then brought Mark and I together and the rest is history. She had been a teacher of mine back in Sedona on how to channel and was very interested in what her mission was in this life. It's just after his use of an analogy to explain the interweaving of past lives that the question comes up of Mark and I being bond mates with the four women on the base as well as having children with them. He explains they would be part of the hybrids would one day be guardians of the planet either from a higher dimension on the base or helping out on a higher dimensional Earth. It's all part of the ascension plan Ashtar Command is committed to assisting the human race in achieving. This conversation with him is about a lot of that plan. The concerns of the world back in December 1993 is eerily familiar to the chaotic times of today and this channeling session seems like it could have been channeled last week. Raya had received a vision of her starting a spiritual community center in Sedona but was faced with a lack of funds in which to pursue the project. We discuss with her connecting up with the old group on how to proceed but that is when we learn about the many changes that had taken place in Sedona since my leaving. Raya describes the New Age and pseudo-New Age people moving there to make money from its reputation. We finish up the side discussing Raya's oldest daughter who had become estranged from her mother. Omal provides some excellent suggestions which come down to having the patience to wait out the situation. He finishes up just as the tape finishes up which seems perfect timing for Ashtar to take over from there. For full transcripts of this session and more information about Hades Base and the 6th dimension, please visit our website: http://hadesbasenews.com The sessions lasted from 1992 to 2001 with this one being taped on 12/09/1993. Side one includes: 1.)(1:19)- Omal uses most of the side on a phone call with a friend of ours in Sedona named Raya. She and I had been part of a group who asked questions to Omal and Korton when he was channeled by Roger.

Have you ever been intentional with consistent gratitude? Meaning, every day you acknowledge the things you're grateful for, for an extended period of time. If you have been intentional with gratitude and appreciation, you probably have noticed the benefits. The more grateful you are, the more you seem to have and the happier you seem to be. Not only that, when you appreciate what you currently have (instead of focusing on what you don't have), you open the door for more. If you struggle with appreciating what you currently have going for you, I want to help. In this episode, I'm sharing 7 ways to practice gratitude for what you currently have to allow you to attract abundance into your life. Just because you appreciate the money you have or the current things you have doesn't mean you can't work towards more. The point is to be grateful for where you are and what you have, so you're not constantly focused on what you don't have. This is key to attracting abundance. Keep working for your goals but appreciate the journey along the way! Here's a glance at this episode: [02:23] Remember a time when you had less than what you have now. This is one of the easiest ways to be grateful for your current situation. [05:20] Every time you go to pay a bill or spend money on something that sustains your lifestyle, express how grateful you are to cover that expense. [08:47] Feeling like your budget doesn't include the things you love? Take a closer look at how your money is allocated currently and work from there. [12:06] It may seem like an obvious tip to write down the things you're grateful for daily, but it really does help you grow your gratitude reserve. [15:35] There's an abundance of information and education out there to help you with money, you just have to seek it out. Rate, Review, & Follow: Did you love this episode? The pod starts with the drop in “standards” for this game and whether that alone explains the performance. There's a bit on the lineup, including a start for Sterling rather than Ethan Nwaneri and potential concerns over the absence of Mikel Merino. The key moments are analyzed including some encouraging individual performances from Kiwior and Leo. There's a bit on why this might've been the worst performance of the season and whether that can be explained by Champions League pulling focus. The one thing you need, more than anything else, to change your finances, or your life, for the better is the right mindset. Your mindset makes all the difference. How you think about your money determines how you act with your money. To become a person who builds wealth, you need to start thinking (and therefore, acting) like a wealth builder. Not sure what that looks like? In this episode, I'm walking you through some of the most impactful mindset shifts you can make to become a person who succeeds with building wealth. Get ready for a money mindset makeover that has you thinking like a real wealth builder! I saw a quote online that said, “a negative mindset can cost you more than any expense.” I had to sit and appreciate how true that quote was. When your mindset isn't up to par, you not only miss out on opportunities to change your life, but you rob yourself of any joy you could have for what is going right in your life. Here's a glance at this episode: [02:38] If thoughts dictate your actions, what makes mindset so critical is the actions you take relative to the thoughts you're having. [06:33] Do you constantly think you never have enough money? Shift to the mindset of there are always opportunities to make more.

In my over-a-decade of experience with budgeting, for myself and helping others, I've come across a myriad of reasons, excuses, fears and inaccurate rationalizations for why people choose not to budget. And it's doing more harm than good. There was a point in time when I chose not to budget, and it cost me a lot. Thankfully, I got my act together and now I help women do the same. We all need to be budgeting, and if you've convinced yourself otherwise, I'm here to set you straight! In this episode, I'm sharing 5 budgeting myths millennial women (or any woman really) needs to stop believing because these myths are delaying a life of happiness. One of the most common things people do with their finances is trying to keep it all in their head. If you think you can keep your budget top of mind, you're setting yourself up for failure. I share some solutions to this particular myth. Here's a glance at this episode: [03:05] When you rely on a mental budget, you're leaving so much room for error. We can't remember or account for everything in our head. [06:42] Just because you never learned how to budget in the past doesn't mean that you can't learn or succeed with budgeting in the present. [09:15] When it comes to creating your budget, there are certain numbers that you do need to know, but you don't have to be responsible for always calculating them. [13:40] A budget should include the things you love and/or saving for the things that truly matter to you. [16:53] You can't predict the future. Certain things will come up that we can't plan for. That means you need to believe it's okay to be fluid with your budget. Rate, Review, & Follow: Did you love this episode? Are you a fan of the City Girl Savings podcast? Arsenal fans needed a therapy session after that Champions League performance—and we delivered. Pete, Matt Kandela, and Jacob Hawley break down a historic night under the lights at the Emirates that saw Declan Rice rocket into Champions League folklore.
Carlos López Estrada definitely paid his dues – shooting scores of music videos and short pieces for a pittance while living at his mother's for years after film school – before he had the chance to direct his first full-length feature film, “Blindspotting.” That well-reviewed film landed him his first studio feature when Disney hired him to co-direct the animated film “Raya and the Last Dragon.” He is nonetheless the first to point out that a number of elements, including a film-school education and supportive parents, made his path to success easier than what awaited most of his cohort of up-and-coming filmmakers. He therefore focused on a new kind of creative endeavor: Antigravity Academy. Founded by Carlos in 2023, Antigravity is a hybrid business. It offers a range of educational initiatives designed to provide young, aspiring filmmakers — particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds — with the tools, mentorship and opportunities to develop their voices and tell their own stories. It also has a producing arm devoted to developing and bringing to life projects that would otherwise have difficulty finding funding. Antigravity's first produced film, “Dìdi,” a glowingly reviewed coming-of-age story by Sean Wang, proved that Carlos' mentoring and producing instincts are spot-on. “Dìdi” recently won two awards at the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards: Best First Feature and Best First Screenplay. In this interview, Carlos describes how his experiences in Hollywood shaped Antigravity Academy's mission and programs and explains why empowering new voices is not only helping to bring surprising stories to the screen but also making him a better artist.https://antigravityacademy.co/

Long gone are the days where we put our financial wellbeing into someone else's hands. Not only do most financial advisors prefer working with individuals who already have wealth built, but sole responsibility for our financial situation lies within ourselves. Each of us must take ownership of our situation and work to make positive changes in it. This is even more important for women. Personal finance planning isn't always an easy topic to discuss, but it's a necessity. That's why I'm so excited to welcome Mabel Nunez of Girls on the Money to the show today. Mabel and I are discussing how women can start preparing for their financial future and build wealth through investing. Mabel also gives insight into how she started investing and how one class changed the overall trajectory of her life. If you've been holding off on investing, Mabel's insight will encourage you to finally dive in and get started. Your future self will thank you! Here's a glance at this episode: [04:05] Mabel shares that no one ever talked to her about investing, so when she took a class to learn more, the trajectory of her life changed. [12:25] Emergencies don't announce that they're coming. Mabel shares the importance of having a savings account dedicated to emergencies. [18:00] Don't overthink getting started with investing. Mabel discusses hurdles that could stop someone from investing. [27:54] If you're a long-term investor, you can expect your money to grow and compound by 10% per year. There's no better return. [41:12] If you're buying quality company stock, your portfolio will bounce back. That means you'll want to be careful with how you react to dips. Rate, Review, & Follow: Did you love this episode? He opens up about being an introvert, and how his dates sometimes get disappointed when he's not his 'persona' they know him for. Wayne shares the wild story of dating someone whose parent was openly racist, the struggles he's faced navigating racism in relationships, and what it's like dating as a single father. It's time for The Truth!Today, Sam and Dougie are looking at Arsenal and in particular, a big reshuffle in the boardroom that has seen Andrea Berta succeed Edu Gaspar as their Sporting Director. Berta was formerly at Atletico Madrid, forming a (mostly) impressive team with Diego Simeone, and also previously worked at Genoa and Parma in his native Italy. We examine what his record was at Atleti in terms of overseeing signings, discuss which positions and players Arsenal may look to in the summer under his stewardship, and scrutinise how the Manager-SD relationship works at Arsenal in particular with Mikel Arteta. There's a little bit of time too to examine the role of a Sporting Director in the modern game, and look at exactly what falls under their remit, before we round things off. So, is this the appointment that helps steer Arsenal through that final step where they lift a Premier League trophy? Will he mesh with what Arteta wants and needs on the pitch? Or is this simply background shuffles that bark louder than they actually bite? Well, The Truth is somewhere in the middle... And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?

In this week's City Girl Savings podcast episode, and the final of our rewind series, we're rewinding to an episode recorded just last year – Financial Education versus Financial Experiences. I chose to rewind to this episode because I want you to know that the experiences you have with your money are significantly more powerful than any financial education you may have. And I'm speaking from experience. I have a B.S. degree in Finance, but my financial experiences have shaped what I do with my money now and how I leverage it to get ahead. In this episode, I share how my financial education and my financial experiences impacted my life…ultimately leading me to the conclusion that you don't need a formal education in finance to be good with money. A financial education is great, and I encourage you to seek it, but it's not a necessity to have a financially stable, financially free life. Enjoy this final episode of our rewind series. Here's a glance at this episode: [02:31] Raya shares her early experiences with money as a child and her perspective on how things were covered back then. [04:57] A money belief that Raya absorbed early on was that if you go to work every day you will come home and have what you need. [07:45] The money principles Raya learned before college went out the drain when she got to college and had access to credit cards. [11:25] Raya learned the importance of paying her bills on time but only because she almost faced eviction for failing to pay rent on time. [14:41] 9 years after starting City Girl Savings, most of what Raya learns is through financial experiences compared to financial education. Rate, Review, & Follow: Did you love this episode?
