Get To The Point

As we record on Sunday night, there is a lot going on. And as Mike says, the new year doesn't start until Tuesday because he doesn't have students until then. And Bob posts the show on Wednesday... We hash out a number of things, including the NFL games of the week, the bowl season that lasts longer than the regular season and some other things as they come to us. Bob did not take notes again. Some would say that this would be the first show of season 3 for us, but we are calling it the final episode of season 2. Things are going to be crazy for a while in all our lives and so we are going to step away for a few weeks, but we will be back before baseball season starts, which for us is February 26th! The gang of three get together again this week and talk about a lot, or at least for a long time. Bob and Mike recap the weekend that was in Tulsa and Adam talks about what it is like to have a daughter turn 8. We all have some laughs during both of these segments. We turn to the NFL quickly so we can spend time talking about the upcoming bowl season, leaving out the CFP for the most part. Welcome to the post season. We recorded on Monday so Adam decided to watch his beloved Bears fall in the last minute of the Monday Night game instead of joining us...I poke. Adam is out of commission this week so Mike and Bob get demoted back to a 2-man crew. Even though we blame Adam for the length of our shows, apparently that is not 100% true as you will see. Adam is a no show because he decided that recording day was for golf and not the show, so Mike and Bob take off and try to entertain. Here we are in August and the local baseball season has come to an end. At least at the level where we spend most of our time. We start with two, we end with three and some wish we would just end. However we are back with another show that really goes nowhere fast and forever.
