Trigger Warning: Miscarriage discussions in this episode   A few months ago I shared on our TikTok account how much anxiety I had been experiencing during my pregnancy because of the miscarriage we experienced last year. I was constantly wondering if my babies were still there and even if it wasn't my main focus for the day, it was an ever present thought in the back of my mind.    When I brought it up to the community over there, it took off and SO MANY WOMEN said they had experienced a similar feeling and were going through the same thing.   I really hope this episode helps you be as present as possible during your pregnancy because you deserve it and unfortunately having experienced loss can really rob someone of that presence. In this episode we dive into the last part of our separation series: the reunion. AKA what was it like when we got back together.   As we say in the episode, recording this now is SO interesting because we've been BACK together for three years; so we've grown so much more since that time period.    But we have gotten so many questions about what that initial reunion time is like, and what to possibly expect, so we're diving into it in this episode.    We answer questions/touch on topics like:   What were our first reactions like? How did we feel? How long did it take us to feel like we were solid? Did we question if things would work? Routines/habits we instilled right away to keep communication open and make forward progress Things that didn't get “fixed” right away and that are STILL a work in progress, even three years later   As always, we SO appreciate you taking the time to share the episode with your friends and rating and reviewing us. It means A LOT and will help us put out even more content for you!   ↓Follow us on social media:   TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@megandmikedomarriage   Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/megandmikedomarriage

In Part 2 of our separation series we're diving into the actual time we spent separated.   We touch on things like…   Rules/boundaries we had in place during the separation What our communication was like during the separation What we did during our time apart to improve ourselves (and in turn strengthen our marriage)    As we say multiple times throughout this episode, we have had SO much help from professionals over the last few years, and understand what a privilege that is.  This is why we're so passionate about sharing our story in hopes it can help couples who might not be in the same financial position.    A separation is usually NOT the answer for most couples, but it was for us. In fact, we swear it saved our marriage, so I hope this episode shines some light on why it helped us and gives you some insight into your own relationship as well.   As always, we SO appreciate you taking the time to share the episode with your friends and rating and reviewing us. In Part 1 of our 3 part separation series, we are diving into WHY we decided to separate and what led up to us making the decision to take time apart.    As we say in this episode many, MANY times…this decision was NOT an easy one or one that was made quickly.  We also didn't do this alone, but had a relationship coach guiding us every step of the way.    We share this in hopes that it helps you not feel alone if you're struggling with similar issues, and possibly to help you see what actions you can take now to avoid a separation or if you too might need some time apart.    As always, we SO appreciate you taking the time to share the episode with your friends and rating and reviewing us.
