A big hug to MyPrimus Project Followers! After a week of posting my own mixtape, I am proud to present a very special and exclusive live guestmix by a talented name; Baris. By end of 2000’s, Baris was introduced with Spanish acoustic and classic Rodrigues melodies and made amateur studio records. At his late teenager ages, he had been musically inclined to Flamenco folk arts Soleares and Alegrias. At beginning of his 20's, during his holiday to Netherland, he was influenced by Armin van Buuren’s trance melodies. After this spark, nothing was going to be in the same way. He started to follow "A State of Trance" series for years. As Baris was getting older, higher than 130 bpm melodies started hassling him. He was in search of something performed in slower bpm. Meanwhile, he was also familiarized the world of music recording, software instruments and professional music production. After his bachelor's degree, he decided to dive into the amazing world of progressive and deep house together with melodic techno. Now he is sure he is in the right river of music forest. Baris now plays only in clubs and is getting prepared to show his talent to the bigger audiences in several electronic festivals. Not long after a move to the musical hotbed of Austin, Texas in 2009, the Ablekid moniker had seen success in various forms. Various tracks signed to Kindred Recordings (Paris) and Rapid Fire Records (Miami) in 2009 put his production style on the map. Daniel has also fostered relationships with many promo services by becoming part of the esteemed Release Promo roster in 2014. In late 2015 Daniel started his radio show on DNA Radio FM, “Pineal Sessions with Ablekid” showcasing his finest picks for the enlightened listeners he hopes to reach. Daniel’s newly released music can be found on Praveen Achary’s Juicebox Music where he has made the USA’s sole appearance on the esteemed label’s first “Elements” series, an ongoing venture that sees the label highlight talent from across the world. The release also saw a write up and 12 Questions interview from legend Mitch Alexander and Change Underground, making it a true highlight thus far in this man’s musical journey. Daniel’s continued success in the US underground is a combination of effective crate digging, silky smooth DJ skills and just the right amount of grit and determination. Recent guest spots for Electronic Groove, Decoded Magazine, and a featured regular on Cirque Noir’s Frisky radio show, amongst others, are subtle hints at the result of all this hard work and shows a depth of knowledge and attention to detail that has seen his heroes rule the underground for many wonderful tune filled years. MyPrimus Radio proudly presents the new live guestmix by two young talents; Ataberk Sarikaya & Furkan Kara. Ataberk Sarikaya is an independent electronic music artist, born on September 11th, 1996. After having his music production and DJ certificates from DBS Entertainment Group and Turquilla Media in 2015, he started his DJ/Producer career. Half of a Rush & Crush and Module boss Ataberk Sarikaya has signed his first record deal 'Recall', which is a result of a collaboration with Sercan Yanbay, on March 3rd 2017. Ataberk's first record deal has been released by a label from Harlingen, Netherlands. A couple of months ago before releasing his first track under the name of Rush & Crush, he understood that he doesn't want to be a prisoner of the mainstream genres only. Ataberk was always curious about Progressive and Techno sounds also, so he decided to create another alter ego separate from Rush & Crush by his own name. On December 21st 2016, Ataberk presented his very own imprint and a new definition of Techno, Module Records. Right now, this young and upcoming DJ/Producer is working on a lots of new projects for you. MyPrimus Radio is proud to present the guestmix by Mehmet Akar. Mehmet Akar is an independent electronic music producer/Dj from Turkey. His creative streak began in the mid 90s, but not in the music field. Turntables, vinyls and headphones were not a part of his childhood toys as this is the story with most Dj's around the world, but rather, his artistic ability manifested in the drawing field of comic strips and cartoons. During the summer of 2011, he proved one more time that he is on the right track by winning the “Next Producer Star Remix” contest hosted by Burn Energy Drink. As a result of his winning, Mehmet got hand picked by Sasha himself to join Burn Studios for Sasha and Richie Hawtin's special workshop at SEA Institude. But Mehmet did not stop there. In the following years he released almost 100 tracks at digital download stores along with many Dj sets where he also provided free tracks to his fans. Mehmet Akar is undeniably a genuine believer of music, and not of the business in music. My special mix is finally revealed... I will play this very special track for the upcoming Borusan Mannesmann company party performance next week. The original song belongs to the Turkish Nu metal group; Manga. The track was released in 2004 as the in their first LP and was featured among the tracks of the FIFA 06 game. After 13 years still loving this track, I made a techno version using Pig&Dan's recent track as the groundbase of the mix and some other extra channels to strengthen and to energize the song.
