West Coast hip-hop legend Alvin Joiner, more popularly known as Xzibit, left his home in Albuquerque to make his name in LA. He didn't have any Plan B because he knew that Plan A was going to work – it just needed a little time. True enough, he quickly made his name in the music and entertainment industry. He became a platinum recording artist and host of MTV's Pimp My Ride. He appeared on the show Empire and in movies like 8 Mile, Gridiron Gang, XXX, and State of the Union. What people didn't realize was that he didn't quite understand the business so ended up going broke. In this episode, Xzibit talks more about his journey, how he turned anger into accomplishment, and how he turned something negative into positive. He now runs a successful Cannabis company called Napalm. Before Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and X-Files, Vince Gilligan wrote a movie called Wilder Napalm. Released in 1993, the movie focused on two brothers with the mysterious ability to start fires with their mind. In this video, we discuss the movie from the perspective of today's Vince Gilligan.
