Hey Friends!  Today I'm sharing a conversation I recently had on Anna Dearmon Kornick's podcast that I wanted to bring to you as well.  Anna is a sought-after speaker, author and time management expert.  Check out her podcast here:  It's About Time Podcast In this conversation, we explore why decluttering is rarely about the stuff itself and why so many women feel stuck, overwhelmed, and unable to get started. We talk about the connection between clutter and the nervous system, why organization alone isn't enough, and how small, intentional actions can create lasting change in both your home and your life. In this episode, you'll learn: • How a dysregulated nervous system can make even simple decluttering tasks feel impossible • The Body, Mind, Soul + Next Action framework for moving from overwhelm to action • Why tiny actions are more effective than marathon decluttering sessions I hope this podcast episode helps you feel better in your home. Hey Friends! This week we are joined by Samantha Allen talking about her new book Puck! We're talking Bill Shakespeare, reality show mortality and being the queerest person at your friend's wedding (or so you think) and much more! Book descrption below Theme by Man with Roses Meet Puck: the nonbinary, thirty-year-old mastermind behind Homewreckers, a dating show that puts troubled couples through hell—with a little help from their exes. Used to being the one pulling the strings, it shocks Puck when their life undergoes a plot twist of its own and their college roommate Mia announces her engagement to her ex's best friend, Damon. Having only recently broken up with longtime-boyfriend Zander, and never having had much in common with Damon (who lovesick Lena has always pined after), Mia's news leaves her friend group reeling—and Puck's mind whirling. When they arrive for a week of wedding festivities at an upscale resort in the Appalachian forest, Puck immediately sees that Mia's marriage will lead to misery, and takes it upon themself to save their friends by rearranging the couples—without anyone finding out. But as Puck comes up against a type-A maid of honor hell-bent on making this wedding happen, it becomes clear that they will have to deliver the greatest stunt of their career. If only they can take their eyes off the bridesmaid. After all, the course of true love never did run smooth…

Hey Friends, When do you get to stop doing and being everything for everyone else? In this episode, we talk about the exhaustion of constant striving — waking up every day trying to get through the list, hoping that if you just do enough, you'll finally feel settled. You built the life you were told would make you happy: The house. The family. The roles. The responsibilities. And yet something still feels incomplete. This episode is about that feeling. It's about the conditioning that taught many of us to come last. It's about how our homes filled up while we were busy trying to be everything for everyone. And it's about why organizing alone doesn't solve the deeper ache. When your identity is built on performance, achievement, and caretaking, the house becomes a reflection of that pace. It fills up while you are busy keeping up. The solution is not intensity. Reflection Questions Where in your life are you still standing in a line you don't actually want to be in? What expectation can you gently release this month? What is one small boundary you can create inside your home this week? A Gentle Reminder You are not behind. You are not broken. You are not missing a secret system. You may simply be overextended. March is an invitation to step out of the race — not to abandon your life, but to re-enter it differently. Internal shift first. The house will follow. Your Decluttering Year Program: If you would like more information about my year long decluttering program click HERE. Transcript:Hey Friends and Supporters of Christ Redeemer Church! This is Pastor Don from Hanover, NH. Hope all is well with you!  Just a quick update on CRC's building project…God is on the move here in New England. We've already cleared massive legal hurdles to become the first new church approved for a building in this Ivy-League town in over 60 years. Now, the only thing standing in the way from making our dream a reality is funding. And good news: We are less than $100k away from meeting a matching challenge which would put us in range for breaking ground this spring. But we need your help! Could you make a last-minute push for pledges and donations? Spread the word!  Anything we bring in over the match will significantly reduce our financing costs. This will give us elbow room to expand our ministry from this strategic Ivy-League community. It will allow us to train and send more people with global leadership capabilities. The deadline of February 28th is fast approaching. Donate, pledge, and encourage others to do the same! For more info or to give, click on link in this post or visit christredeemerchurch.org/flourish." Thank you so much for partnering with us! Jesus said: “Upon this Rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell with not prevail against it.”~Matthew 16:18

Hey Friends, What if your clutter isn't evidence of failure — but evidence of how much you've been carrying? In this episode, we kick off Day One of the January Reset by dismantling the pressure that comes with a new year and offering a different way to begin. Instead of forcing goals or pushing through, we slow down, regulate the nervous system, and set an intention that's grounded in the body — not willpower. You'll learn why feeling "behind" isn't a motivation problem, how clutter often reflects seasons of grief, caregiving, transition, and survival, and why change doesn't stick unless your nervous system feels safe enough to sustain it. Intention Setting:  This isn't about goals. It's about choosing who you want to be. Name what you want. (Less chaos, more ease, a new job, deeper connection.) Ask what's underneath that desire. How do you actually want to feel? (Calm, safety, confidence, openness.) Bring that feeling into your body. Ground your feet. Slow your breath. Soften your shoulders. Feel gravity. Write one sentence for today. "Today, I choose calm by staying grounded in my body." We also talk about what real commitment looks like — and how choosing yourself doesn't require intensity, just consistency. Imagination is simply the door to a parallel reality that's waiting for you to step into it.” -Jennifer HoughWe talk about the following and so much more:What it really means to “quantum jump” into a parallel realityWhy paradigm shifts can rewrite hundreds of beliefs at onceHow resistance is simply feedback guiding us toward flowThe role of biology in attuning to new dimensions of beingThe illusion of control — and how to partner with universal intelligence insteadYou'll get a free month's access for the Agents of Awakening course through this link: https://thewideawakening.com/aoa-30day-ac/?referredby1=Yasmeen%20Turayhi. Hey Friends! This week we're talking about Bored Gay Werewolf by Tony Santorella! We're talking about tech bros and non-binary knife throwing and the best Grindr screenames? And so much more! Theme by Man with Roses Book Description Below: Brian, an aimless slacker, works doubles at his shift job, forgets to clean his room and lays about with his friends Nik and Darby. He's been struggling to manage his transition to adulthood almost as much as his monthly transitions to a werewolf. Really, he is not great at the whole werewolf thing, and his recent murderous slip-ups have caught the attention of Tyler, a Millennial were-mentor determined to take the mythological world by storm. Tyler has got a plan, and weirdly his self-help punditry actually encourages Brian to shape up and to stop accidentally marking out guys who ghosted him on Grindr as potential monthly victims. But as Brian gets closer to Tyler's pack, and alienated from Nik and Darby, he realizes that Tyler's expansion plans are much more nefarious than a little lupine enlightenment...

Hey Friends, In this mini-episode, you're going to make real progress in your kitchen by decluttering your spices. If your spice drawer or cabinet is overflowing and you want a simple win today, this is it. In this episode you'll create space, cut the chaos, and actually start using your spices again because you'll know what you have and where it is. What You'll Do Today (Just Two Steps): 1. Alphabetize your spices and remove duplicates Pull out your spices, line them up in alphabetical order, and combine any duplicates. 2. Toss anything expired Check dates as you put them back. This alone clears a surprising amount of space. How to Stay on Track: This isn't a full-kitchen project. Don't let it domino. Stay focused on only the spices. If you have oversized bottles that don't fit with the regular ones, keep them in their own alphabetical section. You can handle two lists. Your Quick Action Plan: • Walk into your kitchen • Open your spice drawer or cabinet • Alphabetize • Remove duplicates • Toss expired • Put everything back neatly Take a deep breath and get it done — it really will only take a few minutes if you stay focused. Share Your Progress: Post a picture of your organized spices in the Facebook group. I'm posting mine too and can't wait to see yours. Know someone who needs a little nudge in the kitchen? Share this episode with them. Coming Up Next: Tomorrow we're starting on the fridge. Get excited — the light at the end of the refrigerator tunnel is getting brighter. Here is the kitchen episode schedule:  November 4 - Counters and surfaces November 7 - Dishes and drinkware November 11 - Cookware and bakeware November 14 - Appliances & Utensils  November 18 - Pantry  November 21 - Fridge and freezer  November 25 - Junk drawers & Tupperware  November 28 - Habits and flow If this episode helps you, share it with someone who's been feeling overwhelmed by their home. Hey Friends, Today is Day 2 of your three-day pantry series, and this is the actual decluttering day. In this episode, I walk you through a simple, five-step process that makes even an overflowing pantry feel manageable. Decluttering the pantry can be a fun, relaxing, almost meditative project when you break it down into these steps. The 5 Steps From the Episode: 1. Space Planning If you did Day 1, your post-its are already on your shelves. If you didn't, Amber walks you through doing it quickly so you can start. 2. Duplicate Your Post-Its Write the same category labels again and place them on your counter, table, or floor. These become your landing zones as you pull items out. 3. Pull Everything Out Remove items shelf by shelf and place them under the correct duplicate post-it. Trash anything stale, open, or expired. Add new categories only if needed. 4. Clean the Shelves Wipe crumbs, sticky spills, and bottle drips. This takes a few minutes and makes the reset feel fresh and new. 5. Put Everything Back Now that everything is grouped, placing it back is fast and easy. Follow the original post-it map you planned yesterday. November 4 - Counters and surfaces November 7 - Dishes and drinkware November 11 - Cookware and bakeware November 14 - Appliances & Utensils  November 18 - Pantry  November 21 - Fridge and freezer  November 25 - Junk drawers & Tupperware  November 28 - Habits and flow If this episode helps you, share it with someone who's been feeling overwhelmed by their home.
