Florian Kruse on the Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 9/13/23 About Florian Kruse - There aren't many people that can say that they have devoted their entire life to electronic music, Florian is most certainly one of them. DJ, producer, lecturer, plus label owner? Yes, Kruse has ticked all the boxes. His passion for music began in his hometown in Northern Germany. An avid reader of Frontline magazine, and later the Raveline, his love for electronic music was born at 14, when he bought his first turntable. Early influences included legends such as Moodyman, Herbert and Steve Bug. At 16, Kruse invested in his first sampler, a mixer and a keyboard. With music in mind, he made the natural migration to Hamburg in 2002, where he studied Audio Engineering, and later taught at SAE. Long time in the game, he started his music career in 2007, with his first vinyl release on Stockholms, Heya Hifi. Since then, Kruse has only grown as both a producer and a DJ. With Stel Vassiloudis and Nils Nuernberg, he became project Wiretappeur, with releases on Bedrock and a remix for label head honcho John Digweed. Nils Nuernberg quickly became his partner in crime, and together became the production duo Kruse & Nuernberg, their hypnotic Deep House sound making appearances on Liebe*Detail, Exploited, and Rejected. In 2008 they started their own label, Save Room Recordings. A focus on his own productions, Kruse plunged into a solo career with a release on Anjunadeep, working together with his older brother Vincenzo and one of his longtime idols Lisa Shaw. Followed by releases on Noir Music, Poker Flat Recordings, Stil Vor Talent, Joris Voorn's GREEN imprint, Kompakt, Last Night On Earth and Suara and remixes by Noir, Eagles & Butterflies, Joris Voorn, Pleasurekraft, Coyu, David Morales and the list of releases and remixes goes on. After a couple of feature tracks with singer / songwriter Hendrik Burkhard Florian and Hendrik started a LIVE project presenting ‘TheGround' with an album (Dediction) in October 2017 on Steve Bug's Audimatique label. With a long time passion for house and techno that dates back to the early years, Kruse is first and foremost a DJ, taking his signature sound to world renowned clubs. Now settled in the German capital, Berlin, a true hub for electronic music, with regular DJ appearances at the city's infamous underground clubs. In 2023 Florian released 'Nordic Soul', his 3rd album afterKruse & Nuernberg -“Let's Call It A Day”in 2012 and The Ground - “Dediction” in 2017. Sisko Electrofanatik's Gain Records welcomes a new peak time techno release from record label favourite, Dyno. Dyno is veteran techno producer from Pesaro in Italy whose tracks have been released on other influential techno labels ranging from UMEK's 1605 to Coyu's Suara. He also runs his own imprint called Dyrwalk which is a regular outlet for his music. This release is a perfect example of Dyno's versatility as a producer as it combines raw and industrial percussion with cinematic euphoria underpinned by a pounding kick drum. "Dubflavours" is a brutal track with crunching sound design and fast-paced rhythms that create an intense groove with dark atmosphere. Today we premiere some relentless techno on the fabled Glaswegian label BEK Audio, as Gary Beck teams up with Klaudia Gawlas for a perpetual floor filler. The pair keep their feet very much on the accelerator, driving the tracks tension through gyrating synth hooks and hammering snare rolls. BEK Audio was established in 2009 by Glasgow Producer and DJ Gary Beck. The label was initially set up as platform for releasing his own music, however this quickly changed after receiving outstanding material from colleagues such as Mark Broom and Slam. The label sound is often described as raw and energetic Techno. Gary Beck, a Glasgow-born producer and DJ, has long been recognised as a key figure in techno. He has received support from some of the industry's biggest stars and released music on some of the genre's most prestigious labels, including Soma, Cocoon, and Drumcode, as well as his own BEK Audio imprint. Beck has amassed an astounding array of accomplishments since breaking into the scene in 2007. A BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, two Boiler Room sessions, featured music on BBC 1 Drama ‘Stonemouth,' and countless collaborations with extraordinary talents such as MR. G, Green Velvet, Debra Debs, Mark Broom, and Speedy J are among the highlights. German DJ & producer Klaudia Gawlas teams up with Gary Bek to provide a scorching peak-time techno slammer on BEK Audio. Klaudia is a thoroughbred musician that has been at the top of her game for many years, headlining events around the world, trooping together fans and topping the lists of DJ polls. Klaudia has notably played on some of the worlds biggest stages including; Mayday, Time Warp, Nature One, Awakenings, Tomorrowland Brazil and more. She also partnered with prolific producers such Eric Sneo, and released music on Joseph Capriati and Coyu's imprint's. Klaudia and Gary's collaboration is the perfect amalgamation of the seasoned pairing's skills in the studio, as they provide a big room techno tool, that is sure to rock venues around the world. Sakura is classic style BEK Audio as the pair showcase continuous tension through swirling synth lines and in your face snare rolls. The groove is maintained through a gabber-esque kick would shake the largest of sound systems. This will do damage at the world's biggest showcases of techno. Florian Kruse on the Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 6/29/22 About Florian Kruse - There aren't many people that can say that they have devoted their entire life to electronic music, Florian is most certainly one of them. DJ, producer, lecturer, plus label owner? Yes, Kruse has ticked all the boxes. His passion for music began in his hometown in Northern Germany. An avid reader of Frontline magazine, and later the Raveline, his love for electronic music was born at 14, when he bought his first turntable. Early influences included legends such as Moodyman, Herbert and Steve Bug. At 16, Kruse invested in his first sampler, a mixer and a keyboard. With music in mind, he made the natural migration to Hamburg in 2002, where he studied Audio Engineering, and later taught at SAE. Long time in the game, he started his music career in 2007, with his first vinyl release on Stockholms, Heya Hifi. Since then, Kruse has only grown as both a producer and a DJ. With Stel Vassiloudis and Nils Nuernberg, he became project Wiretappeur, with releases on Bedrock and a remix for label head honcho John Digweed. Nils Nuernberg quickly became his partner in crime, and together became the production duo Kruse & Nuernberg, their hypnotic Deep House sound making appearances on Liebe*Detail, Exploited, and Rejected. In 2008 they started their own label, Save Room Recordings. A focus on his own productions, Kruse plunged into a solo career with a release on Anjunadeep, working together with his older brother Vincenzo and one of his longtime idols Lisa Shaw. Followed by releases on Noir Music, Poker Flat Recordings, Stil Vor Talent, Joris Voorn's GREEN imprint, Kompakt, Last Night On Earth and Suara and remixes by Noir, Eagles & Butterflies, Joris Voorn, Pleasurekraft, Coyu, David Morales and the list of releases and remixes goes on. After a couple of feature tracks with singer / songwriter Hendrik Burkhard Florian and Hendrik started a LIVE project presenting ‘TheGround' with an album (Dediction) in October 2017 on Steve Bug's Audimatique label. With a long time passion for house and techno that dates back to the early years, Kruse is first and foremost a DJ, taking his signature sound to world renowned clubs. Drawing tangible inspiration from the early 2000s hard techno and groove hiatus, Evan Marshall's artistry continues to blossom, as the DJ is fast becoming a regular on the DJ circuit, plus one of the most prolific releaser of tunes in the whole country. Today we premiere his latest release entitled 'Cairo At Night'. Arabic inspirations permeate through the whole single from Alt8, dropping on @denseandpika's Kneaded Pains label, backed with a remix from fellow rising Irish artist, Aero. In its original mix, ‘Cairo At Night' pummels its way through spiritually charged vocals, bouncing tom toms and throbbing bass for quite the unique and transcendental techno vibe! Dublin based Aero slots in a remix that yields an alternate and raw take, rattling and grimy basement beats underpinning the divine mood. Early support on the release has received great feedback from; Amelie Lens, DJ Bone, Dax J, Nicole Moudaber, Coyu and many more. **Horatio Presents Ibizaholic Radioshow Episode 53 + Special Guest CEVIN FISHER Cevin Fisher is a seasoned DJ-Producer. He has performed at some of NYC's most influential venues, like Paradise Garage, Zanzibar, the Loft, and Pacha NYC. Before his production days, he remixed Chaka Khan's “Love You All My Lifetime” and Quincy Jones' “I'll Be Good to You”, which debuted at #1 on the US Billboard Dance Chart. He produced “House is a Feeling” and “Hands On Love” with Cliff in the early ‘90s, gaining respect from the Strickly Rhythm label. Danny Tenaglia told him that he needed to go out on his own and make his own music. He iterated that Cevin had serious talent and could make it on his own. That night, he saw a sign on the highway on the way home that read “Find Your Own Road,” and was inspired at that very moment to produce “The Way We Use To” and “Check This Out”. Some of these songs were used in sets across the world by Sasha & Digweed, David Morales, Danny Tenaglia, Carl Cox, and Louie Vega. He is best known for songs such as “The Freaks Come Out” , “Women Beat they Men”, and “(You Got Me) Burning Up,” the latter of which featured vocals by Loleatta Holloway. Cevin has toured globally with the likes of Erick Morillo, Danny Tenaglia, Mark Knight, Steve Angello, Wolfgang Gartner, and Fedde Le Grand, all while maintaining his residency at Pacha NYC. In 2013 –2016 he had a string of hit collaborations with Erick Morillo, D. Ramirez, Layo and Bushwacka, Pete Griffths, Mark Knight, and Coyu to name a few. In 2014 he started a new label “Import Tracks” releasing freshnew edgy tech-house tracks including “Now Let's Go House” with David Morales voted the best of Beatport Baseware 2015. Along with this string of newly acclaimed releases Cevin has recently found himself again gigging throughout the world and has relocated to Geneva, Switzerland.**
