My mission is to help you change your life, to add just a little bit of mindset injection for you to live bigger, better, faster and stronger in all areas. Faith, Family, Fortune, Fire
“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” – Lao Tzu - if you focus on the steps in front of you while keeping in mind the next 3 to 5 steps you will not only win at life but you'll crush all competition. When we reference The Grind it's about doing repetitive things over and over that we don't necessarily like doing. But we GRINDERS do them anyways. We do them because we know no matter how many times we have to do them they pay off. If you wanted to get in shape lets say and you went to the gym once and did one rep of everything in the gym you would get ZERO results from it other than failure and frustration. BUT if you went to the gym every day for 90 straight days (which isnt a long time mind you) you would see massive results, your entire body would change. Then you add in the reps and the repetition and BOOM here come those abs we all admire. In business, in relationships, in creating opportunity it takes action, repetitive action on things you will not like, but you have to do them anyways. Late nights, early mornings sometimes skipping meals because you are entrenched in what you're doing. Remember, you are not working for the today you, you are working for the future you so I would suggest sitting down with a mirror, videoing this process, and truly asking your 3 month, 5 year, and 10 year older self WHAT DO YOU WANT... Money? Power? FAME? PEACE? TURMOIL? LOVE? What do you want? No devise a REPETITIVE plan to get there. It could be a simple start, as in with saving. First step to saving is knowing where you money is at and where it is going. print your last 3 months of bank statements and Credit card statements what did you spend and on what? Where can you cut, now open a new account at a new bank, I suggest a credit union, and set up a direct deposit of that exact amount of cut to go in that account. STAY DISCIPLINED. Then work on the other areas of your life. This is your story, your movie, you are the main character so train them well.
Todays quote comes from my mentor, they are called Crouch'isms "Today remember Believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine." This is one that I created an image around and saved to my screen saver. As motivated as I am, I still have doubts, I still have some limiting beliefs that try to creep in... Goggins calls it your B I T C H voice, that inner doubter. I call it the bad wolf, the bad wolf is the one that is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. I can tell you from my own experience when i start to feel ANY of these feelings I immediately notice and take massive action, DEFCON 1 COCKED PISTOL Maximum readiness. Immediate response. RED ALERT BABY... You allow the bad wolf to take over too long he will kill and destroy the good wolf inside you and you simply cannot let that happen. Tactically how do I do that, I go to my FAVORITE AUDIO "CANT HURT ME" and just start listening, it only takes me personally about 20 minutes to RESET RELOAD RENGAGE and re acquire my target. WHY because I have souls that depend on me; my family, my partners, my employees, the people who look up to me and need my intensity for them to crush their own bad wolf... AND BECUASE I LOVE IT. Make it a great day.... GO GET YOU SOME. ALL THE WAY
Todays quote comes from The Rock “What's the key to success? The key is, there is no key. Be humble, hungry, and the hardest worker in any room." You can't deny that The Rock has an intense work ethic. If you've seen any of his training Instagram posts they're always on fire. Let's talk about HOW YOU can start to work on your own personal work ethic. Growing up i started working at 14yrs old, raised by a single mother she just didn't have enough to give my sister I. I was also a wrestler, and I joined the 82nd Airborne right out of high school so hard work for me was never an issue. Yes. I wanted to take my foot off the gas, but there was always someone there; mom,Jr high and high school coaches and squad leaders that held me accountable so I also was used to people yelling at me for non performance at a very young age. When I got into business and there's thousands of stories in the multiple businesses I've ran I've always had a coach. Currently I have 4 coaches all different. All to hold me accountable to my future self. I talk about that a lot. Sometimes it's the 30min older me. Sometimes it's the 20yr older me. I always vision him perfect; what he looks like, what achievements he's made, how's his faith his marriage his relationship with his boys his putter circle family etc. I know to reach that guy I have to bust my butt harder than I want too but is necessary to achieve those results. Even tho he doesn't have abs he's in great shape (he doesn't have abs because he loves to eat BUT leaves it all on the mat at the gym so can eat mostly what he wants). I don't care what level you're at. Work harder. I don't care if you think you're already successful. Work harder. There's always more to do. So do it. Take the necessary steps to achieve your best you. You'll thank me, you're current you won't thank me. But the best you will. Make it a great day!
“I hated every minute of training, but I said, don't quit, suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.” —Muhammad Ali - this is something that has hit hard for me in my life. I haven't met anyone yet that has an intense desire to wake up at 4:30 in the morning. But I can tell you when you do and when your feet hit the floor you feel powerful beyond measure because you know that your competition is sleeping in comfortable in their beds with their heads on their pillows comfy and warm while you are crushing life getting that extra 2 hours per day, 14 hours per week 60 hours per month and an extra 30 days per year, YOU my friend get an extra MONTH of life that your competition DOES NOT GET.... How insanely cool is that. Now what you do with those hours is what counts, let's talk through HOW we already know the why. What I do is make sure I go to bed at minimum by 10pm to get 6hours sleep, some need 8, so go to bed at 8pm to get your 8hrs, I need 6, 7 is optimal. Yes weekends count, yes had a late night get up anyways, that is how you achieve your Best Version of you. So I set 3 alarms, I also created different cool sounds that basically call me out if the 2nd and 3rd ones are going off. You have to be committed to the process. Are YOU committed to the process...
Courage doesn't always roar. With what's going on in the world today there are a thousand reasons why giving up or quitting and giving in sounds like a good idea. The issue with doing so is you have now trained your brain that it is ok to quit. So the next problem that comes up makes it ever easier. NO EXCUSES
