Some odd years ago, Glenn and Taylor met where heaven meets hell--Tampa, Florida. Their friendship blossomed when they brown-bagged 32 ounces of Pabst Blue Ribbon in a theater parking lot. The movie may have sucked massive sack (Fantastic Four), but it resulted in a life-long platonic partnership, bonded by their love for pop culture. From movies to music to current events, they are consuming and commenting from their comforting couch crevices. So, whether they are right or wrong, they do not care.

We rented the 1998 Godzilla --a totally mundane action/sci-fi movie starring Matthew Broderick. Four bucks and 2.5 hours later, we feel obligated to trash this movie. The soundtrack, on the other hand, offers some 90s rock bangers that transport us back in time. We may never watch this movie again, but the soundtrack will stay in rotation. Oh, Glenn also drops knowledge about Starlink, an Elon Musk project that could make internet accessible worldwide! Also, Taylor misspoke the director's name...its Roland Emmerich, not Ronald. Sorry, dudes.

Glenn is turning 38 years old this month, so he is the captain now--he hand selected the content for this special episode. He wanted to re-watch and review the mediocre movie Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny. We aren't saying it is mediocre; the uppity critics did so in 2006. We hail Jack Black and Kyle Gass as the Gods of Rock in this cult comedy. We also briefly discuss our latest obsession ASMR, the ear Xanax that has been giving us all the tingles and zZz's (special shoutout to Goodnight Moon and Bluewhisper). Lastly, we create our Top 10 list of favorite party scenes in film because we like to party. Sounds by zappsplat.comArtwork by Glenn SourcesHow A.S.M.R. After last week's horror episode, we wanted to travel down a more mellow path. We took another dip into our nostalgia, and watched countless PG movies to bring you this episode's Mediocre Movie Review--the 1995 children's classic Heavyweights starring Ben Stiller, Paul Feig, and Shaun Weiss (LEAVE METH ALONE)! We also discuss Hasbro's Poppy Giggling Vagina oversight (or maybe not so unintentional), as well as create our Top 10 list of Childhood Toys We Would Still Buy As Adults.Check out Logan aka Lanxius for more!https://soundcloud.com/lanxius https://www.twitch.tv/lanxius Sounds by zappsplat.comArtwork by Glenn

Taylor kicks of the episode with a review of the 1993 rom-com cult classic So I Married an Axe Murderer (starring Mike Myers and Nancy Travis; saved by Phil Hartman). Glenn shares an update on Billy Mitchell, a cry baby competitive arcade gamer and the subject for the 2007 documentary, The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters.
