I remember my youth, way back in the late 1900s, and 4 hours of sleep on a concrete slab and I was good as new. Maybe that kind of activity is why it's a whole damn project to get a good rest these days. Zzz.....Right in line with our chatter last week 10 Barrel reached out to us about some of their "functional beverages." That's the word we couldn't think of last week. They've got an NA RTD cocktail now that has guarana, ginseng, caffeine, mushrooms, and sea salt in it. We're not sure we need an energy RTD, but we're down to try it.In the Apple Beer Battle we didn't know existed Kestone Light comes out swinging with "the most American" apple beer you can find. Take that, Busch! This reminded us of Natural Light's Naturday's, something we enjoyed sitting on the beach in FL. Good times.Sad beer news this week that UK pubs are really struggling these days and closing at an alarming rate. With their pub culture that's some grave news. If everything wasn't so damn expensive these days maybe they could keep those pubs full.Positive news though, Creature Comforts Brewing is growing and will surpass 100,000 barrels brewed this year as they also expand their spirits offerings.
