Summer Playlist is a new 13-week series where we're exploring the Psalms as the perfect soundtrack for whatever life brings our way. In this first message, Pastor Chan teaches through David's proclamation "Bless the Lord, o my soul!" found in Psalm 103. Today's Message Text: Psalm 103:1-22 Thanks for listening in to The Ridge's Sunday Audio podcast! Although we hope you are greatly blessed by listening to this message, we also believe it's important to belong to a local body of believers. If you live in our area, we would love to worship with you on Sunday mornings at 8:00a, 9:30a, or 11:15a!

This week's Mixtape Rewind takes us back to Season 1 when Instagram picked our summer soundtrack, and we just tried to keep up. We asked listeners to send their best summer songs, then built a real mixtape out of the chaos: 12 tracks that feel like heat haze, long evenings, and that first day when summer finally clicks into place. Along the way, we shout out the people who submitted picks and admit where we couldn't resist sneaking in a few of our own.The fun part is how quickly “summer music” stops being simple. We get nostalgic with LFO's “Summer Girls” and the oddly unforgettable lyrics that still scream 1999, then jump to Sylvan Esso's “Rooftop Dancing” and talk about why rooftops are basically the city version of a pool. Weezer's “Feels Like Summer” brings that bittersweet edge, and from there we keep pulling on the thread of sunny songs that hide something darker underneath.Lorde's “Solar Power” nails the new-release summer vibe, The Kinks' “Sunny Afternoon” turns out to be way more cynical than it sounds, and Childish Gambino's “Feels Like Summer” smuggles climate change anxiety into a laid-back groove. We round it out with true summer essentials like DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince's “Summertime,” a pure-pop hit from Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen, a “Constructive Summer” pep talk from The Hold Steady, and a cover-song detour with The Ataris and “Kokomo” before Poison closes the night with “Nothing But A Good Time.”One more tease: there's no Bruce Springsteen on the main mix, and yes, we noticed. Hit play, share this with a friend who hoards playlists, and leave a review if you want more listener-built mixes. What's the one song you swear belongs on every summer playlist? You can find the mix here on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2xecia1iK9SH9fpDGGyElY?si=60cde1613e264ad01. We begin the new year on SmarterMarkets™ with Part Two of our Holiday Special 2025: The Year in Review. This week, we're continuing to revisit the conversations with our guests that helped us understand and articulate the themes that would come to define 2025. It was the year in which we discovered that this was not the energy transition that we were expecting; and the year in which a new geopolitical reality emerged and old geopolitical concerns resurfaced. It was the year featuring a tale of two carbon markets and the need for new weather markets to manage the risks posed by reliance on renewable power. And 2025 was the year in which there was both a new gold rush and a rush into tokenization. We hope you'll sit back, relax, and enjoy Part Two of our Holiday Special 2025: The Year in Review. Got a question? Let us know! This week on Made For Mondays, we're wrapping up Summer Playlist with a grand finale that's all about worship as a lifestyle. From weekend stories with new puppies and family basketball games to Matthew 21's “fig tree faith,” we're talking about the build-up that makes a finale unforgettable—and how Psalm 150 calls us to live a life of praise beyond just singing. We unpack what worship looks like in the everyday moments—through stillness, motivation checks, and giving credit where it's due—and why our worship often feels most real when life gets messy. Plus, we challenge each other to pick one “mighty work” of God to reflect on this week, because His power didn't stop with the Bible; it's still showing up today.Big Idea: Worship is more than singing, it's a lifestyle.
