Morgan and Jesse, two jaded "adults" discuss cartoons of the past and present, harshly judging children's entertainment and trying not to look like creeps in the process. That last part can be harder than it seems at times.
Saturday Morning Cartoon Podcast
AniMay can't be capped off by just ANY show, but instead, the hosts put themselves through what is sure to be a controversial episode, if just for our picks. Don't believe us? Tune in to find out!
Lilo and Stitch is a fun Disney movie starring a girl and her alien pet that most people know of, but for many people, that story either ends with the first movie or the animated series on Disney Channel. But little do any of you know just how far that little blue bastard would go...
Is this anime? Does this really count? Are we already failing on our goal on week 2? Who cares, it's our show, and you know what? This is a fun episode, so shut up. Thanks for the support!
One of the hosts came up with a pun, and the other host made it a good pun, and now we have AniMay, a month long block of talking about them Japanese cartoons the kids seem to be into lately. This week, we wanted to see what Japan's take was on a beloved American franchise, since we see so much of the opposite, and we found that the kindergarten superheroes took the journey east and shows us their anime selves: PowerPuff Girls Z
We mistakenly asked, as a joke you see, for a Russian Roulette of requests, just to see if we could pick out the "good" show of a bunch, and, lucky us, we have dedicated fans! @1FarmingArtist gave us a whopping 5 requests, and we decide to knock them all out in one shot. God help us if this becomes a regular staple of episodes.
Thank you once again to @Big7Pointer for the episode recommendation, and screw you again to @Big7Pointer for the episode recommendation.

We learn the true meaning of Christmas with a help of a magic book and a rich guy with a controversy wikipedia double the size of the civil war page,
How many guest stars can Maxwell Atoms pack into one movie??
Ashley Tisdale made a Scooby Doo Movie???
Oh it's TERROR TIME AGAIN as Mystery Inc and the SMCP Boys head back to a LANDMARK of Scooby-Doo history: Zombie Island.
Oh hey it's probably about time we watch this little series called Scooby-Doo, and what better time to do it than Halloween.
Everyone in the world probably thinks they hate Mr. Meaty but YOU'RE WRONG. ALL OF YOU ARE WRONG.
We're coming back hard and we're coming back fast, picking through the seemingly infinite mines of the 80's to find some silver. And boy, some Silver we did find.
Another massive crossover fighting game featuring cartoons, another episode we're forced to put out
Well I guess this is just what big studio movies are nowadays, how much reference can you stuff into a feature length film.
KNIGHTS KNIGHTS KNIGHTS KNIGHTS KNIGHTS KNIGHTS
We got a request in this week and can only hope everyone got their money's worth out of this one. Thank you to @Big7Pointer for sending in a request! You, too, can request us to watch something by submitting it through http://smcp.show/epsuggest
There's been a lot of talk about Batman and Batmen for the last, oh, two decades, so we decided that WE'LL take a crack at it and give our very unique, very original opinions about the caped crusader, but through the lens of the very last time the character had an ounce of joy, when he was teaming up with the biggest losers DC has to offer. Yes, that includes Aquaman.
Pretty sure just by releasing this episode we're on a watchlist somewhere, and not for the first time at that. Please, just ignore all the dog whistles and enjoy a nice wholesome show about a fluffy alien 50's high schooler who swears a lot.
Local Podcaster and Comedian hits rock bottom and guests on podcast Jeremy Kaplowitz of the Hard Drive joins SMCP to talk about his favorite show, the Super Mario Bros Super Show
Welp, Stephen Hillenburg died which means the Pandora's Box of Spongebob Spin-offs has been unleashed, so let's get this over with and talk about the Patrick Star Show
What's new Scooby-Doo, we're coming after you, gonna solve tha-We interrupt this program to bring you...Courage the Cowardly Dog Show, starring....Scooby-Doo and Courage? Together? In a crossover? Can something so obvious still be good after all this time? How do Kaiju fights factor in? Listen in to find out!
In our first LIVE RECORDED episode, Morgan and Jesse take a break from talking about cartoons to talk about a video game! A video game which....happens to be based on cartoons. We talk about Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl and if it's fun, will it kill Smash, and what characters we'd love to see added later! If you want to know when we'll be doing live episode recordings, you should follow us on Twitter @SMCP_show
Finally we're here, at the promised land. A land with brand as far as the eye can see. A Brand Land, if you will. And it may be many things, but it is sure no bland Brand Land. No, understand that this Brand Land will not be damned. This will be a Grand Brand Land, planned to hand command to those who demand, firsthand, to see the brand expand.
WHOOPS we ran out of Warner Bros hybrid animation movies so I guess we have to go back to the granddaddy of all hybrid movies, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, which is as wild a premise as the movie itself is horny.
In our second film to lead to what is SURELY to be a 10/10 movie in Space Jam 2, we watch what might as well have been a Cartoon Network original film, Looney Tunes: Back In Action.
Everybody get up it's time to slam now, we got a real jam going now welcome to the beginning of a month long build to Space Jam 2 by watching a series of live action/animated movies, starting with the OG cult classic Space Jam.
This show about babies turns your beloved manbabies into blabbering idiots as we are ALL over the place in this episode.
We review the requested show, Problem Solverz! Then we, two white nerds, decide which superheroes can be black! What a great podcast!
We've done it before and by gum we'll do it again. As long as the big wigs and bean counters up at Warner continue to slight us by treating Infinity Train badly, we will be ready, willing, and able, to cyberbully them on our podcast.
There's a weird amount of political talk in this episode about a mid-2000's experimental French cartoon, but an even WEIRDER amount of Letterkenny jokes.
In a rare episode we wouldn't mind the reviewees listening to, Jesse lays down some hard mid 2000's music facts and theories and Morgan, the pompous film grad he is, talks about mise en scène or some shit.
In a fit of what can only be described as pure narcissism, Morgan and Jesse decide to rank all the cartoons they've watched as part of this podcast. Don't worry though, our list is completely accurate and not controversial AT ALL.
With Wrestlemania come and gone, the boys decide to check out the inexplicable Hanna-Barbara WWE Cinematic Universe, which is exactly as ridiculous as it sounds.
This week, the boys lean more into "therapy session" than "animation podcast" as Morgan comes face to face with a topic that has haunted him since childhood: Puppets
The boys try to talk about the new Avatar Studios, but Morgan's hopped up on 5 hour energy and Jesse had a long week so this episode goes places. Good places? Bad places? We'll leave that up to history.
We're real sorry about last week, so here's a milquetoast news episode that's inoffensive to anyone except for the McElroy brothers
You ever see an image you feel so deeply disturbed by you make an hour long podcast about it?
our final look into the expertly written tomes that are Self-ship fanfictions with furries,

Jesse gets the greatest gift of all this Christmas... being discharged from a mental institution.
Jesse's got his red string and cork boards ready. Do you?
This ain't an anime podcast so we take every liberty we can by watching the most anime inspired episode of a show made by nerds we can find.
That wasn't very Ken Money of you
Anything that can go wrong does. Specifically, Jesse loses his ability to speak. STOP SAYING MEELO YOU MORON
Halloween isn't over JUST YET, and we're gonna talk about a half ghost half kid half boy fighting a Crusader with tighty whiteys on the line. Show's words, not ours.
