Show Notes: David Nour, author of Relationship Economics, discusses the six phases of strategic relationships. He emphasizes intentionality and a portfolio approach to relationship investing. The six phases he uses throughout the episode are: mapping, relating, nurturing, sustaining, requesting, and capitalizing. Different Levels of Relationship Management Nour explains that when a challenge arises, the first questions should be: Who do I need? Who do I know? How do I connect the dots? He contrasts haphazard outreach, simple lists, and CRM-driven discipline, underscoring the importance of intentionality and consistency. He highlights relationship mapping to achieve specific goals—beginning with identifying targets, nurturing, and sustaining relationships. In a pharma example, he shows how to identify key companies and contacts and introduces the ideal relationship profile—focusing on specific individuals (not logos) because relationships are built between people. He also stresses finding “lookalikes”: individuals whose values are aligned, who value and respect the relationship. Cold Outreach to Build Relationships On building new relationships—especially via cold outreach—Nour recommends focusing on fewer but better-qualified leads: go where potential clients already are (e.g., micro-events), be more interested than interesting, and engage with thoughtful questions. Quick, consistent follow-up turns initial introductions into meaningful relationships. He shares specific questions he uses to spark valuable conversations and secure meetings. Initial Conversations in Relationship Building Nour critiques “intellectually lazy” openings like “Tell me about your situation.” Instead, come prepared with a hypothesis based on research and use questions to set the agenda. Authenticity matters: each consultant should develop their own style. To avoid being forgettable, respectfully provoke prospects to think differently. Unpacking the Four Middle Phases Nour details the four phases that form the “engine” of relationship development: Relating: Share relevant stories so prospects see themselves in similar situations. Nurturing: Add value with ideas, checklists, and stress-testing to build trust and credibility. Sustaining: Maintain momentum over time; help the buyer buy; enable internal champions. Requesting: Earn the right to ask for deeper access (e.g., org charts, NDAs, stakeholder conversations) to better understand needs and increase impact. Capitalizing on Relationships After Project Completion Two-thirds of the way through a project, identify existing, impending, and created needs to link projects and avoid losing momentum post-delivery. Nour shares how he invites senior executives from one client to speak at another client's event (non-competing industries), creating an ecosystem of seasoned leaders who become walking case studies. Climbing the Relationship Value Pyramid Nour bridges the gap between recognizing the importance of relationships and harnessing their significance with three ideas: Intelligent Relationship Management: Set relationship-centric outcomes, identify pivotal contacts, and make consistent “favor economy” deposits. Strategic Relationship Planning: Map company-to-company relationships from now to next (champions, cadence, outcomes). Relationship Value Pyramid: Categorize by depth and relevance—situation, investment, portfolio, recall (2 a.m.)—and apply a portfolio approach with a “three-touch rule” before reallocating attention. Reciprocity in Relationship Building Nour reviews gratitude, reciprocity, and paying it forward as observable behaviors. Twice a year, he reviews his top 100 relationships to prioritize where to invest next. He also mentions Avnir, his AI platform that builds a private relationship vault from existing data sources and prompts context-relevant actions to deepen connections. I've had so many jobs over the years — from babysitter to office administrator — and I didn't know until much later that my struggles in certain environments were connected to being autistic. In this episode, I talk about what it means to navigate workplaces that aren't built for neurodivergent minds, and how universal design could change everything. The Dinkiest Saturday Of All TimeJeff and I are DINKs, duel income no kids...and we proved it this weekend. We went to to the San Francisco Symphony to see and hear the marvel Studios Infinity Saga. It was 23 clips from Marvel movies with this amazing symphony playing along, It was so wonderful I cried. Then we strolled over to Morton's for martinis and steaks. #DinkLifeThings Your Party Guests Are Judging You OnRelying on store-bought desserts Not communicating key details - Make sure guests feel prepared and comfortable. Waiting for guests to ask for refills - They may not want to “bother” the host, so they'll wait with an empty wine or water glass, and that can be frustrating. Avoiding the topic of dietary restrictions - Ask your guests about dietary restrictions so your menu includes options everyone can enjoy.Overserving light bites - Appetizers should help tide guests over, but they're not a replacement for the main course.Turning dinner into a cooking show - Don't wait until your guests arrive to start cooking. Get as much done ahead of time .Requesting shoes off without offering alternatives - It's fine to ask guests to take their shoes off, but don't leave them barefoot, which can make them feel awkward. Follow Martha Stewart's lead and have a basket of washable slippers or cozy socks .Forgetting the farewell - People don't always know when it's time to go, so you can announce a “last call” or try Martha's method. To kick guests out, she explains, “I just say, ‘I'm going to bed, I'll see you.'”Are You Burnt Out Or Just Bored?Burnout's typically associated with feelings of overwhelmingness and exhaustion. In this in-depth episode of our legal advice series, Attorney Robert Navar of the Law Office of Robert Andrew Navar Esq. shares exactly how he helps clients remove active traffic ticket warrants and fight the underlying charges—without paying unnecessary court warrant fees or risking jail time.If you've ever missed a court date, forgotten to pay a ticket, or received a letter warning of an arrest warrant, you'll want to hear this. Robert explains that when you fail to appear in court or pay your fine by the deadline, a judge can issue a bench warrant—often called an alias warrant in traffic cases. This warrant attaches to your name and driver's license, meaning police can arrest you at any time, even during a routine traffic stop.Ignoring a traffic ticket warrant can lead to severe consequences:Arrest at home, work, or during travelAdditional fines and court costsPoints added to your licenseHigher insurance premiumsA permanent conviction on your driving recordRobert breaks down the types of warrants he fights:Alias Warrants – Issued when you haven't entered a plea or paid the ticket. With these, an attorney can lift the warrant and continue fighting the ticket.Capias Warrants – Issued for not complying with a court order, such as failing to complete a payment plan. These are harder to remove without paying the full amount or serving jail time, but Robert explains your options.OMNI Holds – Restrictions placed by the Texas DPS on your driver's license for failing to appear in court or pay a fine, preventing you from legally driving. You'll learn why hiring a warrant lawyer for traffic tickets is more effective—and more affordable—than using a bail bondsman. Many bond companies can't post bonds for tickets and will often hire a lawyer anyway. By going directly to an attorney like Robert, you skip the middleman, save money, and get legal advice tailored to your case.Robert also discusses his process:Filing an appearance bond to lift the warrant immediately.Requesting discovery, including body cam footage, dash cam video, and officer reports, to identify inconsistencies.Challenging procedural errors in the charging instrument or citation.Negotiating with prosecutors to secure dismissals or defensive driving eligibility even when clients don't normally qualify.Once the warrant is removed, Robert doesn't stop there—he continues to fight the original ticket to prevent it from becoming a conviction on your record. Paying old tickets without legal help can lead to permanent marks that affect employment, especially for jobs requiring a clean driving record or background check.Key Topics Covered in This Episode:What triggers a traffic ticket warrant. Why you should never ignore a bench warrant. The difference between alias and capias warrants. How OMNI holds affect your license and ability to drive. Why hiring a lawyer is better than using a bail bondsman for traffic tickets. How to lift a warrant quickly without paying court warrant fees.Steps to fight the underlying ticket after warrant removal.Protecting your record and avoiding higher insurance rates. If you have an active traffic ticket warrant—or think you might—don't wait. Acting quickly with the help of an experienced traffic ticket attorney can mean the difference between a clean record and long-term consequences.Contact Information:

How to Successfully Hire and Manage a Virtual Assistant for Your Insurance BusinessRunning an insurance practice means juggling countless tasks, and as your client roster grows, so does the need for reliable support. In this week's episode of the Insurance Business Babes podcast, hosts Kathe Kline and Joanna Wyckoff dive deep into hiring virtual assistants (VAs)—sharing years of hands-on wisdom from building their own teams. Here are the best nuggets from their conversation, expanded for our blog readers. Why and When to Hire a Virtual AssistantMost insurance agents hit a breaking point as their client base approaches 300 or more. When that happens, administrative work starts eating into sales time, client service suffers, and time off becomes a dream. As Joanna says, “We girl boss a little too hard to the sun and you start getting overwhelmed.” If you're constantly frazzled or avoiding your ringing phone, it's time to bring on support—before burnout sets in.Where to Find Qualified Virtual AssistantsBoth hosts swear by onlinejobs.ph, a popular platform for hiring VAs from the Philippines. Filipino VAs are known for excellent English, polite customer service, and strong work ethic. Kathe recommends paying a little extra for the six-month support/transition package, giving the VA a local contact to help them adjust and ensuring smoother onboarding for you.Other options include Upwork (especially if you need part-time help), or hiring services like Hire Heroes, which pre-screen and prepare candidates for the insurance industry.Screening and Selecting the Right CandidateTo avoid sifting through hundreds of resumes, Joanna suggests:Requesting a video introduction to gauge English proficiency, personality, and customer-facing skills.Asking for a portfolio if you're hiring for specialized skills (like marketing).Giving clear, specific application instructions to spot high attention to detail.Kathe is a fan of assigning paid trial tasks to top candidates. This hands-on approach shows who's truly capable and reliable.Training & Managing Your Virtual AssistantBefore hiring, spend time recording your processes using screen capture tools. This library of “how-to” videos becomes a training goldmine for your VA—and any future hires. Kathe reminds us never to do one-on-one trainings without recording: “Chances are, you're going to have to hire another virtual assistant someday.”Embrace cultural differences—be explicit with expectations, offer positive feedback, and always have clear agreements regarding pay, 13th month bonuses, and holidays. Tools like Hubstaff or TimeProof help with accountability by capturing regular screen shots of your VA's work.Compensation & RetentionPay competitively, offer regular bonuses, and recognize holidays. Both Kathe and Joanna emphasize generosity—helping your VA feel valued pays dividends in loyalty and performance. Clear key performance indicators (KPIs) and regular check-ins keep everyone on the same page.Final ThoughtsThe sooner you invest in hiring and training a VA, the sooner you'll reclaim your time for sales, strategy, and some well-deserved balance. As Kathe says, “Your life will change for the better from that point forward.”Ready to take your insurance business to the next level? Don't wait—start your hiring journey today! This episode is sponsored by CertifiedMedicareAgents.com. Use the coupon code BABES2024 for a free lifetime BRONZE membership.
In heaven, God's will is perfectly completed. Requesting that it be fulfilled here on earth is a recognition that His will for our lives is indeed perfect. Aligning ourselves with that will begin with prayer. Praying for God's Kingdom to come is asking for the presence of Christ. When you pray for God's kingdom to come, you are asking for the global swelling of the Church. In praying these words, we are asking for Him, before we are seeking for us.Praying for God's will to be done, is a prayer of submission.Matthew 6:10, Matthew 3:1-2, Matthew 4:17, Matthew 6:33 , Matthew 20:28, Luke 22:42, John 4:34, John 5:30, John 6:38, Colossians 1:17, 2 Corinthians 12:9

In a filing to Judge Subramanian in United States v. Combs, S3 24 Cr. 542 (AS), the Government requests permission to admit limited additional testimony from expert witness Dr. Dawn Hughes. This request comes in response to what prosecutors describe as "forceful and repeated" arguments made by the defense during their cross-examination of the witness known as Mia. The defense, the Government argues, presented misleading implications about Mia's behavior and credibility—specifically regarding how victims of abuse are expected to act. Prosecutors contend that this line of questioning has "opened the door" for rebuttal testimony addressing misconceptions about trauma responses. The Government seeks to have Dr. Hughes offer expert insight drawn from her original notice, focused solely on clarifying how victims of abuse often exhibit behaviors that may seem counterintuitive to jurors unfamiliar with trauma psychology—such as delayed reporting, continued contact with abusers, or minimized disclosure. This testimony, they assert, is necessary to correct the jury's potential misinterpretation created by the defense's narrative. The request is framed as narrow in scope and designed not to go beyond the boundaries previously set by the Court, but rather to preserve the integrity of the witness's testimony in light of the defense's strategy.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:gov.uscourts.nysd.628425.376.0_1.pdf

Cardi B Responds To Offset Requesting Spousal Support "you've seen the baby only 5 times!"
Douglas Wigdor, representing accuser Cassandra Ventura, submitted a letter to Judge Arun Subramanian opposing Sean "Diddy" Combs' request for a gag order in his federal case. Wigdor argued that while Combs seeks to restrict public statements from accusers and their attorneys, his own family and legal team have been vocal in the media. He highlighted public comments from Combs' son, Quincy, and his mother, Janice Combs, as well as statements from Combs' attorney, Marc Agnifilo, who labeled the prosecution as racially motivated. Wigdor contended that if Combs' representatives are permitted to speak publicly, accusers and their legal counsel should have the same right, suggesting that Combs' request for a gag order is both hypocritical and unjust. We also get a look at a letter sent by the prosecutors....In a letter to Judge Subramanian regarding United States v. Sean Combs, the prosecution references a recent decision by Judge Ho in United States v. Adams, 24 Cr. 556 (DEH), as additional support for denying the defendant's motion concerning alleged leaks. The attached decision, labeled as Exhibit 1, is presented to bolster the government's position against the defendant's Leak Motion.(commercial at 10:26)to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:gov.uscourts.nysd.628425.55.0.pdfsource:gov.uscourts.nysd.628425.56.0.pdfBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.
In a recent letter to Judge Subramanian, Sean Combs' legal team expressed concern over extensive pretrial publicity that they believe is compromising his right to a fair trial and the integrity of grand jury proceedings. They referenced a pending motion to limit extrajudicial statements by potential witnesses and their counsel, which the government has opposed, with Combs' reply due on November 8, 2024. Citing the immediate risk posed by ongoing public statements related to the grand jury, they requested the court to promptly restrict such extrajudicial comments during the motion's consideration. In this episode, we take a look at that motion.(commercial at 7:30)to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Draft Combs 23.1 Letter 110124 [trg]Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

This episode provides a tactical question to elicit useful feedback by taking responsibility for seeking it out and framing the request in a way that encourages advice rather than judgment. Understand that your manager giving you feedback is your responsibility, which means you should actively seek it out rather than waiting. Discover how a simple question can shift the dynamic with your manager to get better feedback, focusing on advice for the future rather than dwelling on past behaviours. Learn the tactical question to ask your manager: "What do you think will hold me back from growing?" or a modified version like, "What do you think will hold me back from getting X promotion?". Explore why framing your feedback request as seeking advice is more effective because managers generally enjoy giving advice and it focuses on future improvement. Understand that the intent is not to analyze past behavior but to identify potential roadblocks to future success and growth.
