Hi everyone! Thank you for joining me in this very scary, vulnerable, reflective, exposing, solo episode of The Mad Moon podcast. I hope to share my journey so far with feminism and maybe give some other women the strength I was given. In this episode, I talk about the women in my life who have shaped me and I read form my own memoir. A memoir that was written when I was off sick from work with overwhelming stress and anxiety. I talk about sexual assault, read some feminist poetry (badly), including my own, and rant about Moon cups. There are definitely some triggering topics including abortion and rape, and as always, colourful language from the get go. Please listen with an open heart and mind. These are my feelings, my experiences and my opinions. I don't claim to be right or wrong, to know it all, I don't claim that all these experiences happened directly to me either. I do not and will not answer questions about my poetry or sexual assault. This is as open as I was able to be, as much as I was willing to share. If you want to talk to me please get in touch, I will always listen openly and you have my complete confidentiality. 2020 has made me even prouder than I ever thought I could be of the women in my life, including myself.
