What else could the world need more in 2021, than yet another podcast featuring 3 white guys in their 30's talking about wrestling?! Actually a lot more, but we're hoping you'll settle for this. Ben, Tom and Sam are 3 long-time friends from Bristol who have each been watching wrestling for the last 30 years and here, each week, they will select a wrestling show from the past at random and then talk about it. It's a heady mix of in-depth analysis, juvenile humour and everything in between.
You've heard of the PWI500, and probably even the PS50, well this is the RWR25- the 25 best wrestlers in the history of...this podcast. The regular RWR crew have each voted for their pick of the wrestlers eligible for inclusion in the list, and it's time to reveal who made it this year. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Alex, Matt and Tinky.
It's a new season on The Random Wrestling Review following the Wrestlemania 41 double header, and what better way to get things kicked off with a journey to the extreme! ECW spent a long time attempting to get onto pay-per-view, and finally made it in April of 1997 with Barely Legal a show that played host to the match between Taz and Sabu which had been 18 months in the making. Also, Terry Funk, The Sandman and Stevie Richards were all vying for a chance to take on Raven for the ECW World Title in the main event. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Alex, Mark and Tinky.
It's the 2nd in our 2 part WWE roster evaluation as we go through the talent with a fine tooth comb and pick out the wrestlers we would Twist, Stick or Bust on Smackdown. The Random Wrestling Review is brough to you this week by Stephen and Tinky.
Following the WrestleMania festivities we've hit the point in the calendar where we evaluate the WWE roster and determine what we would do with each of the talents in the company. We can Twist (give them a renewed push up the roster), Stick (accept that we are happy with their place on the card and keep them there) or Bust (downgrade them on the card, or even release them from the company). Today we take on all members of the WWE Raw Roster. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you by Old Man, Alex & Tinky.
It's finally time to conclude our coverage of this year's Wrestlemania with our review of night 2. Find out what our panel thought of the main event featuring Cody Rhodes against John Cena, with its much critiqued finish. Also, Iyo Sky defends the Women's World Title against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match, Drew McIntyre battles Damien Priest and Joe Hendry turned out to be Randy Orton's mystery opponent... The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Tom, Stephen and Tinky.
Wrestlemania is here again! And following the Random Wrestling Review's epic WrestleMania season which came to it's roaring conclusion with last year's event, it felt only right that we covered this year's spectacular as well. For Night 1, WWE were offering a triple threat match between Seth Rollins, CM Punk and Roman Reigns, a World Heavyweight Title match that would see Gunther defend the title versus Jey Uso, and a Women's World Title match pitting Tiffany Stratton against Charlotte Flair. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Alex and Tinky.
With Wrestlemania 41 just days away the RWR crew give all their thoughts on the build up to the biggest show of the year. They assess the Cena heel turn, the decision to put Rollins, Punk and Roman together in a triple threat match, the viability of Jey Uso as a babyface World Champion, whether Iyo Sky is the babyface of the women's World Title Triple Threat match and predict the results of every match announced to this point. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Tom, Matt, Alex and Tinky.
In the final episode of the Intercontinental Title series, we take a look back at WCW Spring Stampede 2000- the night where the new 'dream team' combination of Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff properly got the new era of WCW underway with a show containing 14 matches, crowning all new Champions in the process after having vacated all the titles beforehand, and more backstage segments, angles, swerves and promos than you can shake a stick at...enjoy! The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Alex, Matt and Tinky.
We continue our look back through the WWE Hall of Fame archives and making a new determination about whether each inductee should retain their place or be stripped of the honour. Today we cover the 1996 Hall of Fame inductions- Jimmy Snuka, Johnny Rodz, Killer Kowalski, Lou Albano, Baron Mikel Scicluna, Pat Patterson, Vincent J McMahon and The Valiant Brothers- but who will survive the cut? The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Stephen and Tinky.
The 2nd half of 2023 was an interesting time for AEW- the company set records with their Wembley show earlier in the year but that night was also CM Punk's last working for them. By December, the roster was badly in need of reinforcements due to departures and injuries and they would be coming in the new year, in the meantime, AEW had their final pay-per-view of the year to hold- World's End. The show would host MJF's defence of the AEW Title against Samoa Joe, the final of the Continental Classic between Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston, and a no DQ match between Christian Cage and Adam Copeland. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Tom and Tinky.
It's finally time for Stephen Corriander to step up to take on the undefeated Gavin Duenas for Duenas' RWR Game Title. The pre-tournament favourite to win the Round Robin who feel short following two losses, gets his chance of redemption, but can he stop the man with all the momentum? The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Stephen, Gavin and Tinky.
For TNA's 7th birthday they put on not one, but two, King of the Mountain matches- the first, the opener, was for the X-Division Title. The 2nd, the main event, for the World Title. In that match, Mick Foley was defending the title against Jeff Jarrett, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and Kurt Angle- but who would come out on top? Also, Raven and Daffney faced Abyss and Taylor Wilde in a Monster's Ball match and the TNA Tag Titles were on the line as Team 3-D battled Beer Money Inc. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Alex and Tinky.
It was one of the most shocking moments in WWE for years, a moment many thought would never happen- John Cena, company figurehead from 2005-2015, beloved hero to millions of children all over the world, sided with The Rock at Elimination Chamber and moved to the dark side. We take a look at the turn and our reaction to it- are we excited by the prospect of Cody vs. Cena at Wrestlemania 41? Who will win? What will they change (if anything) about Cena's presentation in the future? How does this affect Cena's final year in the ring? And why now? The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Alex and Tinky.
Last summer, AEW brought All In to London for a 2nd year in a row at Wembley Stadium. The show was headlined by the title vs. career match between Swerve Strickland and Bryan Danielson in what would be a match of the year candidate, but was it wall worth it? It would be this title change that would eventually lead to Jon Moxley's victory a couple of months later and usher in the much maligned Bloodriders era of AEW, in favour of giving Will Ospreay his crowning moment in front of a massive crowd of his compatriots. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Tom, Stephen and Tinky.
Last week on The Random Wrestling Review we brought to you a review of WWE's Royal Rumble event from 2014. This week we provide another perspective on the same event- but this time from the night after, as we bring you this content from the vault, which also includes more opinion about the episode of Monday Night Raw the evening after the Rumble itself. With thoughts on what was expected at that year's Wrestlemania, as well as the Elimination Chamber, before those events took place, this provides a unique insight into the viewpoint of the time. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Richard and Ben.
The Intercontinental Champions series continues with the final major show in the career of our latest Champion in the series- Kevin Nash. Nash made a surprise appearance in the Rumble on a night where the fans in attendance decided to stage somewhat of a protest over WWE's general booking including the apparent overlooking of most popular babyface in the company, Daniel Bryan, in favour of long-time main event guys, John Cena, Randy Orton and, in the Rumble itself, a returning Batista. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Alex and Tinky.
BracketMania is here again-the official arbiter of the best of everything, and this time around we're putting 16 Survivor Series teams through the tournament brackets to find the greatest of all time. Will Hulk Hogan be in with a shout with one of his teams? Will Team Alliance finally get their victory following the invasion story? Will The Hart Brothers take overall glory? Will Team Smackdown from 2005 push their claim? Or will another team take their place as number 1? The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Tom, Alex & Tinky
In 2010 major things were kicking off in TNA- Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff were brought in at the beginning of the year and brought with them a whole bunch of wrestlers (some big names, some, not so big), did away with the 6-sided ring and made the decision to move Impact to Monday nights and go head to head with Raw, just like they had done with Nitro some 15 years previous. Sacrifice 2010 comes from a still early part of the Hogan and Bischoff regime, and sees AJ Styles challenging Rob Van Dam for the TNA World Title in the main event. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Stephen and Tinky.
It's been a long time coming, but finally we bring you part 2 of our complete overhaul of the WWE Hall of Fame, where we assess every single entrant and their merit for remaining in. Last time we covered the 1993 and 1994 inductions, this time we take on 1995, namely, Pedro Morales, The Grand Wizard, The Fabulous Moolah, Ivan Putski, Antonino Rocca and George 'The Animal' Steele. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Stephen and Tinky.
Back in 1999 the wrestling business was booming big time and in an attempt to cash in on the success being enjoyed by WWE, WCW and ECW, a new promotion formed that would feature the wrestling stars of yesteryear, and put them on pay-per-view. What followed was one of the most infamous events in history, culminating in a main event featuring Jake 'The Snake' Roberts and Yokozuna against Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart and King Kong Bundy. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Tom, Alex and Tinky.
In the 2nd 'The Verdict' episode where Stephen Coriander leads Alex and Tom through some key aspects of non-WWE wrestling history. Last time, the three gave their verdict on Will Opsreay's career and this time around they discuss the series of 4 major matches between Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada in New Japan. Will Alex and Tom agree that they are among the greatest matches of all time, or will they go down like a lead balloon- The Verdict will decide! The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Tom, Stephen and Alex.
Since 2018 WWE have been taking their Premium Live Events to Saudi Arabia twice a year and raking in major money for doing so. Way back when the deal was first done, many criticised the company's decision to do so, some of its talent refused to go and perform and others were unable to on safety grounds, but the shows went ahead nonetheless. All this brings us to our review of a night that will go down in infamy- due to the World Cup tournament that dominated the undercard of the show, and the once in a lifetime battle between D-Generation X and The Brothers of Destruction which saw Shawn Michaels come out of retirement for his first match in 8 and a half years... The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Matt, Alex and Tinky.
Another year is in the books and 2024 may have been the biggest yet as the business end of pro wrestling shifted massively over the last 12 months- from WWE's merger with UFC and the creation of TKO, The Rock joining the TKO board and the announcement of the Netflix deal to AEW securing major talents from New Japan, beefing up their own roster while leaving New Japan with large gaps to fill, and their own work to secure a TV deal that should keep them going for at least the medium term, its' been massive, and that's without even discussing what happened in the ring! Also, with the end of the WWE Network, what does that mean for the archive content that was previously available, and perhaps most specifically, how will it affect this very podcast... The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Matt, Alex and Tinky.
For this year's Christmas episode of the Random Wrestling Review the team are going back to the turn of the Millennium, and the first WWE pay-per-view of the 21st century, as they presented the Royal Rumble. It was a night that featured the debut of Tazz in WWE, The Hardy Boyz and The Dudley Boyz squaring off in a celebrated tag team tables match, the ultra-violent WWE Title match street fight between Triple H and Cactus Jack, as well as the Rumble itself of course, but even then may still be best remembered by some, for the controversial Miss Rumble Swimsuit contest. It's time for us to give it the RWR treatment... The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Sam, Alex and Tinky.
A few months ago, Gavin Duenas defeated Alex Kirkman to become the new 'The Game' Champion, now Gavin faces his first title defence, against Tom Smith. Tom finished joint 2nd in the Round Robin tournament with a record of 2-2, and hopes to unseat the undefeated champion as the pair attempt to name as many WCW wrestlers as they can.
The road to Wrestlemania 24 officially got underway with the 2008 Royal Rumble and a host of participants hoping to take overall victory in the Rumble match but who were not ready for the surprise return of John Cena, entering at number 30. That major surprise may have been the key talking point coming out of the event but also included was Edge versus Rey Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Title and Randy Orton defending the WWE Title against Jeff Hardy. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Stephen and Tinky.
It's time for the latest instalment of BracketMania and this time the entrance themes of CFO$ are battling out to be crowned the very best. Over the course of 4 rounds, 16 shortlisted entries, including themes for Finn Balor, Asuka, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode, Bayley, Charlotte Flair and Kevin Owens are celebrated from a golden era of NXT and a not so golden era of WWE, but who will make it all the way to ultimate glory? The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Alex, Paul and Tinky.
In February of 1998, WWE were on the road to WrestleMania XIV, arguably one of the most important wrestling shows in the company's history. That month they were presenting No Way Out of Texas: In Your House, to be headlined by an 8-man tag match featuring 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, Cactus Jack & Chainsaw Charlie versus D-Generation X with one drawback- one of their biggest stars, and WWE Champion at the time, Shawn Michaels, was unavailable, owing to the back injury he'd suffered at that year's Royal Rumble (and would keep him out of action after WrestleMania for years). Who WWE would book to replace Shawn Michaels in the match was a major talking point going in...and coming out of the event. Also on the show, Kane continued his path to a first-time confrontation with his brother The Undertaker, in a bout with Vader and The Nation of Domination had what was termed a 'War of Attrition' match with Ken Shamrock, Ahmed Johnson and the DOA. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Stephen, Alex and Tinky.
On the latest RWR Now, we sit down to discuss the recent angle on Smackdown where Kevin Owens used a piledriver on Randy Orton during a brawl, which was sold by all concerned as an unspeakable act of brutality. What did our panel make of the angle? What does it say for the direction of WWE? Was it believable in a world where other promotions are having wrestlers do similar moves on a nightly basis? Or conversely, is their a concern that Owens' using a piledriver makes it more likely for dangerous things to take place on WWE TV in the future? The Random Wrestling Review this week is brought to you by Stephen, Alex and Tinky.
In the summer of 2010 WWE was invaded by The Nexus, a stable of wrestlers who had been competing in the first season of NXT, and who seemingly brought with them a fresh direction for the company and raft of new stars to be thrown into the mix. History tells us that in the end, the story didn't live up to its start however, before that the group would headlined that year's SummerSlam in a 14-man elimination tag match versus Team WWE, made up of both babyfaces and heels. Underneath, both the WWE and World Heavyweight Titles were on the line as Kane defended against Rey Mysterio Jr, and Sheamus took on Randy Orton. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Stephen, Dan and Tinky.
It's time for another episode of RWR Now and this time the conversation turns to AEW following the signing of their TV deal extension with Warner Bros Discovery and the recent crowning of Jon Moxley as their new World Champion. In this episode we discuss whether AEW is heading in the right direction, whether Moxley is the right pick for Champion, what might become of the BCC 'invasion' style storyline and whether AEW have found themselves in a place with too many main event talents to book effectively... The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Stephen, Dan and Tinky.
At the end of 1991 WWE were at a crossroads- the ring boy scandal had been closely followed by the beginning of the steroid scandal, and in the midst of all that, the company had committed a creative faux pas with their attempt to cash in on the Gulf War with the Sgt Slaughter storyline which itself had ended with yet more backstage turmoil and the departure of the Ultimate Warrior. In a bid to hit the reset button, WWE needed a way to reinstate Randy Savage following his retirement match loss at the hands of the Warrior at WrestleMania VII, and start to plot a course for the next 6 months, leading up to Wrestlemania VIII. The result of all this was a different type of Survivor Series show, one that would host a World Title match for the first time ever as Hulk Hogan defended his title against The Undertaker, and a whole heap of storyline developments to build up to another pay-per-view, This Tuesday In Texas. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Tom, Alex and Tinky.
There has been lots of talk lately about the future of AEW, both in terms of attendances and ratings that they are achieving and whether or not the company will be signing a new TV deal upon the expiry of their current one. For 5 years now, AEW have occupied the position of 'number 2' in the North American wrestling industry, a position TNA has lots of experience with having been in the same place between 2002 and 2015. So today we ask, what can AEW learn from the mistakes that were made by TNA during that time? The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Matt, James and Tinky.
Coming out of the Invasion angle that had dominated the WWE calendar through most of 2001, WWE were looking to reset and to that end they repositioned Steve Austin as a babyface, repositioned Kurt Angle and Vince McMahon as a heels, introduced Ric Flair as the thorn in the Chairman's side, unified the WWE and WCW titles, and brought back Triple H following his injury. Into this setting comes the Royal Rumble where Chris Jericho defends the Undisputed title against The Rock, and 30-men do battle to book their place in the main event of Wrestlemania X8. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Stephen and Tinky.
A couple of weeks ago Netflix released their 6 part documentary looking at the life of former WWE owner, Vince McMahon, and in this episode of RWR Now, we discuss the overall quality of the doc, whether or not we felt it was balanced, who came across well, who came across badly, what and who it missed out and whether it focussed enough on McMahon, or it ultimately became a history of the WWE as a whole. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Stephen and Tinky.
This week on the show we're covering WCW's Superbrawl IV, a night where Ric Flair and Vader were heading for a major showdown over the WCW World Title in the Thundercage! Also in the Thundercage, Sting, Dustin Rhodes and Brian Pillman battled Steve Austin, Rick Rude and Paul Orndorff. Lower down the card, Steven Regal was defending the Television Title against Arn Anderson and The Nasty Boys put their tag titles on the line opposite the team of Cactus Jack and Maxx Payne. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Alex, Rob and Tinky.
Following success in the epic Round Robin competition between all of our regular presenters, Alex Kirkman was crowned The Game Champion. Now, a few months later, Alex has to face his first challenger for the title. Having come through the round robin with a 100% record, there was no natural top contender for the belt and so Alex faces the challenge of Gavin Duenas, who is coming in with a Game record of 0-0. Can Alex see off this latest test, or will his title reign be talked about in the same breadth as Jack Swagger's and The Great Khali's? The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this time by Alex, Gavin and Tinky.
In the autumn of 1998, faced with a resurgent WWE and scrambling for a way to hit back in the Monday night war, WCW hired The Ultimate Warrior to join the overflowing ranks of their ageing main event scene. At Fall Brawl 1998, Warrior would make his WCW in-ring debut in that year's War Games match- one that was fought under amended rules for 1998, with 3 teams competing, but with the winner of the match gaining a WCW World Title match at the following month's Halloween Havoc. In addition, the Steiner brothers were set to do battle, Dean Malenko was up against Curt Hennig, and Raven would take on Perry Saturn in a Raven's Rules match, with the fate of The Flock on the line! The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Matt, James and Tinky.
Not long ago, we counted down the top 100 wrestlers of all time, now we have done a list counting down the top 100 wrestlers in the history of WWE, based purely on match quality- 2,523 matches were included in the analysis and this is the list that came out- where have the likes of Chris Jericho, Undertaker, Triple H, Steve Austin, Bret Hart, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton, Mick Foley, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Daniel Bryan and CM Punk ended up? There is only one way to find out... The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Alex and Tinky.
In this year of elections, what could be more appropriate than WWE's answer to democracy- Cyber Sunday? At the 2008 version of the event, the company gave its fans the chance to choose Triple H's opponent, the stipulation of a match between Undertaker and Big Show, the special guest referee of the main event and the winner of the Diva's Halloween Costume competition... The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this time by Old Man, Alex and Tinky.
For the 2nd year in a row, we've put our creative caps on and tried to come up with a Wrestlemania 41 that we'd like to see. Where will our panel put the likes of The Rock, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Seth Rollins and all of the rest of them at next year's big event? Find out here... The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Matt, Alex and Tinky.
Just 3 weeks after the '25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania', WWE were back with another offering on pay-per-view, with Backlash. The card was heavily shaped by the events of the 'Mania that had just taken place and featured John Cena defending his World Heavyweight Title against Edge in a Last Man Standing match, a unique 6-man tag match where Triple H's WWE Title was on the line as he fought alongside Shane McMahon and Batista against Legacy, and an I Quit match to continue the feud between the brothers Hardy. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Stephen and Tinky.
Since becoming a regular on the podcast, Stephen Coriander has been hailing the performances of the man he calls the greatest wrestler of all time, Will Ospreay. Two of our other regulars had seen very little of his work, and so Stephen decided to set them the challenge of watching 8 of Ospreay's best matches, and this is the resulting conversation. What will the panel have to say about Ospreay? Is he the greatest of all time? Overrated? Or something in between? The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Tom, Stephen and Alex.
For only the 2nd time on the Random Wrestling Review, we are taking in a TNA show and travelling back almost 20 years to Turning Point 2004- the scene of the 'Macho Man' Randy Savage's final ever match where he teamed with AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy against The Kings of Wrestling- Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Jeff Jarrett. Also on the show, America's Most Wanted battled Triple X in a Six Sides of Steel cage match where the losing team would have to disband, and Petey Williams defended the X Division Title against Chris Sabin. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Matt, Alex and Tinky.
It's that time of the year again where we honour the great matches that the podcast have covered in the past- there are 3 new matches that have made the Hall of Fame this year- they each were voted for by at least 50% of our 16-strong panel in this year's ballot from a potential shortlist of 85 matches. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Tom, Old Man, Matt, Stephen and Tinky.
Taking place in the shadow of the infamous Montreal Screw Job at WWF's Survivor Series event, World War 3 (1997) finds World Championship Wrestling at a commercial peak, and on the finishing straight on the road to that year's Starrcade. The event would play host to the 60-Man Battle Royal main event with the winner receiving a World Title shot at some point in the future. It also featured a no-holds barred encounter between rivals Ric Flair and Curt Hennig, Rey Mysterio Jr up against Eddie Guerrero in a rematch of their classic at Halloween Havoc the month before, and a WCW Tag Title Match pitting The Steiner Brothers against Steven Regal and Dave Taylor. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Tom, Stephen & Tinky.
At last it is time for the Final of The Game Round Robin as Stephen and Alex go into battle in what amounts to a straight play off where the winner will take the title overall. This week they have been asked to name as many participants at Wrestlemania as they can, with more points for the most rare answers! Who will come out on top? There is only one way to find out! The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Stephen, Alex and Tinky.
It's time to rumble, it's time for the Royal Rumble! Yes- for the first time in 2 and a half years the Royal Rumble returns to The Random Wrestling Review as we take in the 1993 edition of the show. Entering the year, Bret Hart had not long won his first WWE Title and was lined up to face Razor Ramon in defence of the title at this show. Also, Marty Jannetty challenged Shawn Michaels for the Intercontinental Title to reignite their feud which had already been stalled for a year following Jannetty's misdemeanours behind the scenes, and let's not forget about the Rumble match itself, where the first time the winner would go on to face the Champion at Wrestlemania! The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Alex, Callum and Tinky.
It's the beginning of a brand new occasional series on The Random Wrestling Review as our hosts trawl through the WWE Hall of Fame's history and reassess whether each inductee should indeed have been inducted or not. They also consider who inducted them and perhaps who would have been a better choice, and what criteria should be used to determine whether someone should get in. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Stephen and Tinky.
This week on The Random Wrestling Review we journey all the way back to 1988 for the very first SummerSlam event, a night the Mega Powers and Mega Bucks faced each other in tag team action with special referee Jesse 'The Body' Ventura presiding over affairs in what would prove the conclusion of the feud between Hogan and Andre, as well as the beginning of the cracks beginning to appear in the Mega Powers. Also on the show, Intercontinental Champion, Honky Tonk Man's scheduled opponent Brutus 'The Barber' Beefcake was out of action after an attack at the hands of Ron Bass, but WWE had lined up a special surprise substitute to challenge for the IC Title... The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Stephen and Tinky.
BracketMania is back for its 4th instalment and this time we're looking at the greatest Attitude Era midcarders and asking the question- which is the best? We have defined Attitude Era midcarders as anybody who hadn't won a World Title by January 2002 and, with that in mind, our panel have picked their 16 participants to be included in the tournament who will face the lottery of the brackets and the scrutiny of our hosts. This week's BracketMania is brought to you by Stephen, Mark and Tinky.
