Sixty Men... Three Rings... Three Giants... One Battle Royal! That was the tagline for the very first ever World War 3 event for WCW in 1995. It was not great, but it was unique and it drew a pretty good sized house in Virginia. Johnny B. Badd (not shockingly) opens the show against DDP for the TV Title and it tests the Diamond Doll's allegiances. The All Japan women are in tag-team action that puts what the WWF did a month earlier to shame. Big Bubba Rogers and Jim Duggan face off in a Taped Fist match (yes, really), Sting takes on Ric Flair in a forgotten match-up, and Lex Luger faces an injured "Macho Man" Randy Savage. In the main event, we've got 3 rings, 3 commentary teams, 60 men, 3 giants, and 1 winner. However, the finish was marred with controversy and you'll see why. Let's just say that it makes the babyface Hulk Hogan look like a giant douche. In the news, we discuss one of Vince McMahon's lawyers being investigated by the FBI, WCW and NJPW's working relationship possibly coming to an end, Sabu's surprise return to ECW, and much more! linktr.ee/MainEventMarks Learn more about your ad choices. No B.A. and Sean aren't reviewing an old episode of Jerry Springer, this week the fellas get into the DeLorean and go back to a time where Paul Heyman was risking it all on the dime of his parents, on an indy outfit based out of Philly, that arguably changed the landscape of professional wrestling forever. AmiSights: Financing the Future For Small Business Owners and Entrepreneurs
In today's podcast, we talk to Mbasa and Sabu Siyaka, brothers who each run successful businesses in the township of Langa, about nine miles from the Cape Town City Centre in South Africa. Mbasa runs Mzansi Restaurant, which was started in 2008 by their parents, Nomonde and the late Vuklie Siyaka. Sabu runs Ubizo Events & Tours, which also started in 2008. Ami visited Mzansi Restaurant while he was in South Africa earlier this summer for EO's global conference. While the restaurant and experience were great, the family and entrepreneurial spirit were what made it so special. The Siyaka brothers tell us more about their community and what they learned from their parents. “It's the oldest and smallest township with thousands of cultures,” Sabu says about Langa. “Whenever we have celebrations, everyone sits together; no VIPs. We all respect one another because we believe that we breathe the same air, we got the same blood.” In today's episode, will talk about how word-of-mouth through social media and sites like Trip Advisor built their business after several years of operating at a loss. We will also talk about how learning every aspect of the business teaches an entrepreneur how to lead and how opportunities don't come to you, but rather you need to work hard and go out and find them. Checkout their business below: Mzansi Restaurant: https://mzansi45.co.za/ Ubizo Events & Tours: https://ubizo-sa.co.za/ Recorded on 06/23/2023 *Due to Mbasa and Sabu Siyaka experiencing unstable internet connection, there are moments where it has caused audio lag when streaming audio.

Violent J of Insane Clown Posse guests on this episode. Many would be surprised to learn that Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope's first stop on their entertainment journey was in the independent pro wrestling scene of Michigan alongside the likes of Rob Van Dam and Sabu. Which is why it was all the more fulfilling for ICP when, following the realease of ablums like Riddle Box and The Great Milenko, they were invited to perform on screen in both ECW and WWE (formerly WWF). After getting in substantial ring time with WWE, ICP made their way to WCW where they would wrestle alongside Raven and Vampiro on Monday Nitro and WCW Thunder. With a quick stop in TNA (now Impact Wrestling) along the way, Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope still run their own professional wrestling promotion, JCW / Juggalo Championship Wrestling, at events like their blowout music festival The Gathering of the Juggalos.
