The boys are back, and it's time to relive an entertaining rivalry from Jay B's golden era. What I would love right now, is for all the Reflectionites to sit back and enjoy the nostalgia of the Rick Rude/Ultimate Warrior rivalry from 1989 to 1990. Two equally larger-than-life personas captivated WWE fans in the late 1980s, and their feud was a great mid-card match that was almost as good as Hulk Hogan's main event feud at that time. This rivalry was a litmus test for both the Warrior and the heat magnet Rude, and it made this feud truly special. Enjoy the discussion! GUY GARDNER: WARRIOR #0 (1994)It is our first podcast guest in a LONG time as Shawn's brother -- the mighty Brian Marek -- joins us to talk about pivotal (to Shawn and Brian at least) 90's comic GUY GARDNER: WARRIOR. It is the Zero Hour issue that reboots Guy as a descendant of a race of peace-keeping aliens who have been traveling the cosmos in a quest to create the perfect, well, warrior. This all gets SUPER body horror pretty quick, with veiny cannon arms and flesh syringes. For the most part, we put this over pretty strongly because the Guy Gardner aesthetic from his era is totally 90s and totally pro wrestling and it's the best. All this plus we chat about the Ultimate Warrior's corpse running amok in the DC Comics offices, Power Girl's forgotten baby, Guy's Irish heritage and which foods you should NOT bring to an orgy.[ONE MORE THING — this podcast was recorded using Streamyard and may eventually come out as video on our YT channel. That being said, the audio does have some aberrations and skips that were unavoidable or skipped over so please bear with us. It was our first time recording the podcast in this format and will need to fine-tuned. Today, on Crime & Entertainment, we dive into the mysterious death of Dino Bravo. Dino was a former wrestler in WWF in the late 80s feuding with wrestlers such as Ultimate Warrior & Hulk Hogan. After wrestling, however, Dino began smuggling cigarettes from the United States to Canada for Vincenzo "Vic" Cotroni, who was a boss in the Canadian Mafia. A series of busts and confiscated shipments worth 100s of thousands of dollars would lead to Dino's demise. He was taken out in his home while in his recliner. Was this a mob hit or something else that has long been ignored. Could the wife be involved, The King of CT gives us his thoughts on one of Canada's most famous unsolved cases.Follow King of CT Herehttps://www.facebook.com/amercombat?m...Links to Crime & Entertainment Like us on Facebook - / crimeandente. .
